Our Husky boy loves Lucky Dog daycare! We actually had to go away and could not bring him with us and he was there with them for 4 weeks! He was as happy as can be when we returned!We were really grateful to not have to worry about his care at all during that trip. They checked in with us often to let us know how he was doing.They do a great job of knowing which dogs play well together and perhaps those that don’t to make sure the playtime runs smoothly. We trust them with our boy who we love dearly!!Would def. Recommend them for doggy care on their property. 🐶

Several years after our dog went to Lucky Dog 2x/week for a while, he's still traumatized based on his reaction to strangers that resemble one of the owners. I had an uneasy feeling when we went to visit initially when I wasn't allowed to view the areas where the dogs were kept. I should have gone with my gut. It seems that there was little supervision for the yard to manage larger or more dominant dogs from smaller or submissive dogs (our dog), plus their fencing pretty janky - our dog escaped! A trainer we used afterwards said our dog was so exhausted at the end of his day there likely because he was stressed and spent his time just outrunning other dogs.

Friendly staff made it easy to schedule boarding for our Boston Terrier. Perfect place if you are unable to find pet friendly lodging and wanting to ski at Sugarbush.

We recently rented a house at the Bush for a month and took our 1.5yr old GSD. Loved it, every day she got a ton of exercise and met a ton of friends. Will be coming back.

Really reasonably priced and convenient if you’re skiing sugarbush. The owners are super friendly and responsive! You can drop off before you ski and pick up after - they’re flexible. Dogs have multiple spots to go and the owners separate puppies and big/small dogs. Our dog was pooped everyday after playing there. I wish there was a spot like this in every ski town!!

I was looking for a place to care for my dear sweet dog while I skied at Mad River Glen. Google led me to Lucky Dog -- and its 2.3 stars. I passed it over and called the next place, a local vet. The vet didn’t have room, but she told me that Lucky Dog was a perfectly good place but had been slammed with a torrent of bad reviews from a single source who had had a bad experience beyond Lucky Dog’s control. I believe it. Our experience was top-notch. Our dog gives Lucky Dog five big, juicy stars. Don’t be afraid to give them a try.

We left our dog Peanut with Laurie while we went skiing in Sugarbush for the day, and had some reservations given some of the negative reviews - but we shouldn't have paid any attention to them. Laurie was wonderful to Peanut - who recently had surgery - and made sure that she had a nice, comfortable and safe stay. We would not hesitate to have Lucky Dog watch Peanut for us the next time we're in Warren!

Our dog Lila has been going to Lucky Dog for several winter seasons and she loves it there! The owners have been so kind and caring and we trust them completely. There has been a number of times over the years when Laure and Duke have helped us out in a pinch and we couldn’t appreciate them more.

Laure and Duke have been in business for years and as their neighbor for 4 yrs, I know they will take good care of your dog. They have a heated room with a run right off of the porch and the dogs get their exercise playing with other dogs. My dog loves it here! If your dog isn’t happy, Laure will sometimes let certain dogs stay in the house until they get more comfortable.

I brought my extremely energetic puppy over for two days of daycare while we skid Sugarbush and had a great experience! She came home exhausted after a long day of playing and was super excited to go back for her second day! Very convenient location, flexible dropoff/pick up hours, and would recommend to anyone looking for a place for their pup to play while they’re skiing nearby.

We had a great experience with Lucky Dog while skiing Sugarbush in 2021! It’s convenient, reasonably priced, and most importantly, our dogs were very well cared for! Same comment as other reviewers have made, please look past the one negative incident that led to many negative reviews from the same family, they are the go to place in Mad River Valley!

We were renting a house near Sugarbush that did not allow pets. Lucky Dog took great care of our dog Jake. Very friendly folks who also give great local directions and other recommendations.I recommend boarding your dog with them.

I love lucky dog!! Y'all I am an overprotective dog mom and I trust lucky dog with my pup every week while I'm at work, they are awesome and super reliable and my dog LOVES them! She is always excited to come and I know she'll be safe and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Loves to spend every Saturday during ski season with Laure and Duke. While we ski, she plays. Duke picks her up and drops her off at our place, and she is flaked for the night! We also board Lulu with Lucky dog during our Summer holidays for 7-9 days, and feel very comfortable enjoying our holiday knowing that she is well cared for. Thanks Laure and Duke!

Our dog loves going to Lucky Dog! As soon as we get in the car and turn towards their house, our dog is over the moon. He's been going there once a week for the past three years and occasionally overnight. Duke and Laure take great care of him and are patient with his occasional misbehaving. They've also helped us in a pinch before by dropping him off at our house or letting him come at the last minute. He always comes home happy and exhausted!

Our dog jumps out of the car and bolts straight for the front door at Lucky Dog. She can't wait to get inside and out again into the fenced yard with her buddies. Lucky Dog Daycare provides a safe and loving environment whether for the day or a week.

BEWARE! Please do not leave you dog at Lucky Dog! I was planning to leave my dog there until I met the owners. The dogs are not supervised and there is a serious lack of responsibility! I ended up going and picking my dog up after a few minutes and am so glad that I did. The owners are not dog lovers and should be shut down!!

Not only have they lost someone’s pet recently but this appears to be an ongoing issue. Dogs aren’t just dogs they are best friends to their humans, but the owners of this business apparently couldn’t care less. They have done NOTHING to help find this poor missing pup that THEY lost per their negligence and refuse to comment. If you love your pets don’t entrust their care to this business!

This out door play area is not successful in keeping dogs trapped . A fence is Only as tall as the item you put next to it, say a 6 foot fence with a 4 foot flat roof storage box next to it makes the fence 2 feet and easy to jump.. fix you facility or close . This Act of Not being simpathetic to your costumers and responsible for your mistakes negate any good reviews you have worked toward.

If they lose your dog, they will not care. They don’t take responsibility for it, and won’t attempt to do anything to make it better. It’s a shame they consider themselves dog people. I recommend Vermont dog boarding and behavior! This place is actually run by real trainers!
