My boyfriend and I came up to Clay Brook last weekend. We couldn’t have had a better experience. From the moment you drive up with the valet helping you, to all the wonderful people behind the desk. He really did love the ski valet as well. Even though I wasn’t skiing the scavenger hunts they had were fun for me to try and figure out with him. Each person was friendlier then the last. I had no complaints with our room, spacious and extremely clean. The views are amazing from the balcony. The restaurants on site are wonderful which is an added perk to the pool and hot tubs. There truly is something for everyone there.The day after we arrived home he realized he left his charger in the room. They were nice enough to check and mail it to us promptly.I am definitely looking forward to returning to Sugarbush in the future.

I had a great weekend with friends staying at Clay Brook and can't recommend the experience enough. Every single staff member we interacted was genuinely and overtly friendly and helpful - including the car valet, Cody, Elaina and a wonderful guy at the front desk, the boot valet, the ski valet and anyone we bumped into in the hallway. Unloading and loading the car was a breeze and getting on and off the mountain every day was seamless. We were traveling with dogs and loved that the resort was truly dog-friendly and not simply dog-tolerant - there are walking trails almost right out the door to keep Fido as happy as their human. We had a one bedroom condo unit with a nice layout that is kept immaculate. The kitchen was well-outfitted, the gas fireplace was a treat and it even had a balcony (though with the season we didn't use it much). We made use of the hot tubs and pool and appreciated having robes & pool towels in room. The only improvements I would make would be to have the sofa bed made up on arrival & that a DVD player was listed -we were excited to watch our old DVDs but there actually isn't a DVD player. No big deal to not have it but would just take it off the list of amenities.

The hotel is the worst cashless hotel I’ve ever been to. They do not accept tap to pay. Or Apple Pay. But they pride themselves on the cashless system. The room had NO amenities; no fridge, no microwave, and the staff was horrible. They insisted they needed to charge and hold over 400$ in “incidentals” for a 2 stay night, that does not include our room price. We will never return in the off season. (May-November ish)

Have stayed at the Claybrook twice over the years during our visits to Sugarbush. Once in a standard room which was a little tight and once in a one bedroom suite which was great. The location is awesome as the hotel is right in Lincoln Peak Village and only a few steps away from the lift. While it does have a nice pool, ski valet, restaurant, and hot tub, the property did feel a little under staffed both times. With all that being said it's still one of my favorite ski on ski off properties to visit while skiing the east coast along with the Lodge at Spruce Peak in Stowe.

United Airlines’ crew shortage left us stranded and unable to arrive in VT for our 20th wedding anniversary trip in early March 2023. We paid the full hotel bill per the contract but we believe they could have given us a break, even a partial refund, due to extenuating circumstances.We will return to Warren eventually because we were married there, but we will definitely look at other lodging options in the area rather than risk losing another pile of money to Clay Brook Hotel & Residences a second time. The management could have done something to soften the blow of a wrecked celebration but chose not to.That disappointment will stick with us for a long time just as our fond memories of getting married in Warren have lasted 20 years.

We rented a one bedroom condo at Clay Brook and greatly enjoyed our one week stay. The condo was clean and neat when we arrived and was keep clean and neat all week by the housekeeping staff.When we arrived the valet assisted in taking our luggage to our room, parked our car in the garage, and took our ski boots and skis to the boot and ski room. Each day we used the ski and boot valet services which allowed us to walk the short distance to the slopes unencumbered. The attendants got to know us quickly and had our equipment ready for us as we walked in the door each day.We used the complimentary valet garage parking. Every time they brought our car to us it was warmed up already. Given it was very cold we appreciated the warm car. (Garage is heated)There was coffee and tea available in the lobby as well as our condo. We had several meals at Rumbles restaurant in the condo building. Great food and service! Enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar. This restaurant had limited hours during the week.When we checked out the valet got our car, retrieved our skis from the ski room, and loaded our luggage. (We did tip the valets and housekeeping for each service during the week. They all did a great job assisting the hotel customers!)We would not hesitate to stay at Clay Brook again!

I stayed here in March 2021 for a few days at a family timeshare. The valet was a total VT lumberjack hunk who carried our bags after a long drive from Philly. The suite was clean and tidy when we arrived. The hot tub was just like the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine" except without the time travel and nudity (well maybe a nip slip but that was on accident!). I didn't even ski but that's not Clay Brook's fault because I never learned how. I should have taken up the ski lessons though, maybe next time!

We went to Vermont to attend a wedding and were sooooo happy with the entire adventure. The Claybrook staff was great, rooms were spotless, pool was sparkling and warm. The weather was excellent for September. There is so much to do and see. Riding the chairlift up the mountain and taking in the breathtaking view was amazing!! I think this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended and having it at such an amazing resort made it even better. Would come again in a heartbeat!!

Stayed here back in November. Its a pandemic, I understand that, so there were no amenities; nothing was open and there was a skeleton staff. We did not receive housekeeping the whole time. Again, a pandemic, understandable. What was down right sleazily was a surprise $105 charge a couple days after our stay. Called the hotel for clarification and was told this was for housekeeping. At no point in the booking process, or during our stay was this disclosed. I gave my card to the front desk "for incidentals only". Did not receive a receipt for services at the end of my stay. No one even cleaned the room the whole time! Do not stay here, a bunch of scam artists.

Absolutely top notch service here. We had an issue with our TV, and the maintenance employee that came to help, Eric, couldn't have been more courteous and professional. He really is a shining example of what service should be like! Everyone else was also very helpful and the room was very clean. But the service that Eric provided sticks out more than anything about our trip. He brightened my family's day and made us feel very welcome! Would certainly return.

Beautiful 3 bedroom suite. Comfortable couch and nice fireplace although we didn't spend much time indoors enjoying it. Very nice kitchen with granite counters and full size appliances. The TV and stereo were nice but cut in and out. Sugarbush is a great place to visit any time of year.

This place is ok. Bit trashy. A lot of top notch people in here. 😖 Like the parents of this 6 year old that left him alone with us in this hot tub for 30 min. We are strangers, its night time, he was here when we arrive and I felt obligate to look after him because his parents where in their hotel room doing god knows what. WTF.

The room was gorgeous! We attended a wedding on the off season. The wedding was beautiful but there were no restaurants open except for 1 opened for breakfast on saturday and Sunday. Being in the middle of the woods it wasnt easy to find alot of food choices close by.

Hotel rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Timbers restaurant is good fare, but a little pricey and not too exciting. Love the hot tubs and hot pool and of course the mountainside location is ideal.

The room we stayed in was amazing. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The only problem was our visit was during off season so most of the on resort resteraunts where closed.

This lodge area is great, with a bar restaurant, ski shop, sitting and lunch area, and rental shop all within walking distance. This is the spot to be if you are hitting Sugarbush for the day.
