If you wanted von Trapp trivia and artifacts, this is not the place.🐓A family member had seen the name and googled the directions not knowing that it was just as it said: a farm store.🐓This review is to just help in setting expectations- because ours were all wrong! Go for the drive, and enjoy the immense beauty of the area-and be sure to buy a cow sticker at the farm store!

Awesome place to view fall colours. Avoid a weekend drive to this place. Stop for the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream on route. Watch the cows grazing in the meadows. Reminds me of Scotland.

von Trapp Farmstead Store is a MUST! From the cheese and yogurt to the bacon and chops, their meat is the best, a staples in my frig. and freezer. If you are looking for a gift they have you covered. I love to shop there and I am not a shopper! It is well worth the trip and the view isn't bad either😉

This farm deserves more than 5 stars 🤩I don't even know what I liked more, but definitely want to come back again and again!#1. Very quiet and clean farm - it's not close by the road, gorgeous nature views.#2. You can see cows grazing just across the farm.#3. Milk is selling only on weekends.#4. Excellent cheese, yogurt, etc.#5. They also raise pigs and have a great pork meat selection.#6. And many many more...P. S. - Ms. Rachel was in the shop the day we visited and she is an absolutely amazing person, so interesting and pleasant 😍

I'm not saying I'm addicted to cheese, but if I were, it would be von Trapp cheese's fault! They sell a limited amount of raw milk too. Such a bucolic location, so you won't mind the side trip to visit.

Really incredible farm store selling von Trapp products as well as many, many other delicious local goods. I have enjoyed their coffee and sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches made with high quality, local ingredients and love knowing there's a place to purchase raw milk and my favorite Green Rabbit breads. Friendly service. The beautiful mountain view across the road and cutie lil cows out front are an added bonus!

I am a regular now and love knowing that everything I buy at the Farm Store is grown, made, produced on-site, or carefully chosen. Such a treat to go there and talk with friendly staff. And the view!

A tiny gem of a store with great local products including their own delicious cheeses and meats. The fresh pasta was sublime! This beautiful spot is definitely worth the short drive from Rt 100.

Enjoyed a great "poor man's European vacation" in the Valley on Sunday thanks to Von Trapp's store. Baguette from Green Rabbit, Mt Alice cheese and home-made labneh - all while enjoying the sights, sounds and aroma of a functioning barnyard as well as the surrounding vistas. Fantastic

When the farm store smells like cows you know the cheese will be good 😂 The St. Alice cheese is insanely delicious - we had to buy a whole wheel to take home. They also have a great selection of Vermont-made goodies!

Got two cheeses that were very good - Vermont Alpine and a cream cheese style cheese made with their yogurt and maple syrup. Highly recommend both.Also bought soppressata which was horrible. A real disappointment
