Holy hell! I haven’t been satisfied with the butcher/meat options in the Waterbury/Stowe area so figured I’d drive to the valley and check it out. Bought a couple different cuts (including my favorite lesser known/rarely available cut of pork) and a couple sausages. I was hoping it’d be good, but am blown away by the quality. The pork was possibly the best I ever had, and the sausages weren’t too dry, nor too fatty, and the 2 styles I tried were both perfectly seasoned, and had no grain-iness, or gristle. Beyond that, I knew what farm my meat came from and was able to specify the amount and size/thickness of my cuts specifically for my planned meals. Needless to say I guess I’ll be coming to the valley more often.

What a great spot to have in the Valley! Josh has been so helpful with reccs and tips on what to buy and how to prepare it. And love that it’s in the Taste Place so I can get everything I need in one stop.
