Stopped by to try their deli. Food was great! We had a Tunbridge Club and a Cubano sandwich. They were excellent. The store has a really good and diverse selection of products on offer. Candy? You got it. Donuts!? Yes. Local meat? Pantry staples? Cute things to gift friends? Yes, yes, yes. I finally have a place close by to buy duck eggs (the best egg).The staff were really friendly, and the local couple that run it are very community focused. I will definitely be coming back. I don’t think they know how happy they’ve made me now that I can get fresh donuts nearby.

I can’t say enough about this place! It is a gem. There should be more like these everywhere. The sandwiches are outstanding! The selection of drinks are surprising. The old timey feel of a candy store with all of the goods. Not to mention a perfect selection of maple products. Get a maple creamy!If your driving through town you must stop! Everyone that works there is lovely and had a chance to meet the owners! They are wonderful people!

The quaint "old timey" front porch and sparce parking undersells the stunning, gift shop, candy, and Interior! Wow!And a great Menu! A Grilled Butternut Squash & Cheese Sandwich!!! I went for something I've never tasted before and it was Fantastic!!I've driven by it so many times! Do not judge this Book by its Cover! The Tunbridge General Store is on my "Best Seller" list!

Absolutely brilliant layout, delicious food from exceptional chefs. Everyone is so friendly and brings a warm energy to the town- and the potroast/french onion soup got me through February! Great place for kids and adults, have everything from live music to exotic candies to local products to every day items and a full kitchen that makes desserts, meals, soups etc. to stay or to go. They are always doing new things and bring so much to the town.

An impressive restoration of an old building in the town center offers exceptional quality products at gentle prices. With a highly skilled chef local foods are presented weeknights for take out that you would need to drive 40 minutes to locate. The owners have brought to town a celebration and honoring of Vermont General Store culture in a form that is perfect. Thank you!!!!

Such awesome service, all the sandwiches are so fresh and made with high quality ingredients. Huge selection of drinks/ souvenirs for out of towners, toys/entertainment for kids, huge community space upstairs… we always feel welcome walking in - the owner is super friendly. No complaints here. Will continue to try all their sammies.
