This is a duplicate review that I mistakenly added to the ATM location in Martin’s General Store.The staff here are very friendly and helpful! A great place to stop on my way to and from the border. The store has your basic corner store grocery as well as petrol, but is also well outfitted with fishing supplies.

Not a ton of variety for family stuff considering it's the only thing in biking distance from a biking family resort, but we got what we forgot to pack (shampoo, bottled water). If you need more than very basic basics, get InstaCart or drive to the Walmart.

I've been going to Martin's General Store for over a decade and have yet to have a bad experience. I've been renting shanties from Gil (the owner/manager/man-about-town - long story about Martin) since 2003 and he has always been fair, friendly and accommodating. I've had the opportunity to go ice fishing all around NYS and VT, and I can honestly say I have never had a better experience, a cleaner shanty, a hard-working 'guide' or a more friendly reception than when I rent from Gil and his team.The entire operation is a one-stop-shop, where my buddies and I can get licenses, bait, snacks, beers and subs before we even hit the ice. And I really can't speak highly enough about the quality of Gil's shanties. They are clean, warm, comfortable and perfectly suited for the ice fishing my buddies and I enjoy.I wish I could give this place, and the team that runs it, more than 5 stars, but I guess this will have to do.- Gary
