The owner and his incredible knowledge and genuine love and passion for animals saved my Cavapoo, Rusty! As a puppy he had giardia that wrecked havoc on his insides. A year later he was in the hospital with severe pancreatitis. We tried a homemade diet out of a pancreatitis cookbook for dogs, the farmers dog, GI kibble diets, I even went as far to pay $500 to consult with a holistic pet nutritionist. All of these trials failed, either by runny poops or a 2 or 3 day standoff of him not eating. I was defeated and Rusty’s belly and health were suffering... Until I met the owner here!He took the time to educate me and give the best options for a freeze dried raw diet. Rusty’s energy and spunk is back full swing! He devours his food and his poops are beautiful and healthy. I couldn’t be more more grateful! Thank you from us both

Toys and such were more expensive than stores back home in the Midwest. however the owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful answering questions; genuinely cares about customers. Huge selection of products.

I was in Stowe Vermont for a weekend getaway with my 5 month old French Bulldog. While away my puppy stopped eating the food I had with me. I googled near by pet stores and The Dog and Cat popped up. I’m so excited it did!!! From the moment I walked in I was blown away with the customer service. The owners went over and beyond to help me find Franklin something he would eat. They give him samples until we found the one he ate. Not only did they help me find food he would eat, the knowledge they shared was and will be super helpful for me. They took the time to explain different types of food and ways to blend items together to make sure the puppy eats enough and enjoys it.Thank you so much for all your help! Franklin absolutely loves all the yummy food and his new harness!!!

Stopped by while visiting Stowe Mountain and was very impressed. This place is a lot bigger than it looks and has everything you could possibly want. The gentleman at the counter was helpful in showing us some alternative dog snow boots and how to use them.

A MUST stop if you own a dog (or cat)! Best pet store I've been in a long time. Went in needing some dog food and not expecting to have the brand that we use and we were pleasantly surprised that they did! Lots of other very cute stuff, a ton of variety. Very friendly staff too.

I recently got a new puppy and needed a few toys to help with her chewing and teething. The store was not open to go inside due to COVID-19 but they had a nice take-out window and gave me great recommendations on what to get her and my pup loves them!

My daughter and I have fallen in love - huge selection of dog clothing and toy variety for any sized dog!It's a one stop animals lovers paridise, we picked up Christmas presents and stocking stuffers for our dog and two cats. The cat toy selection is the biggest and best we have seen yet! They also carry a large variety of food and treats. So excited to have found this store, huge selections and very reasonably priced! I walked all the way there it looked nice the site did not say they are only doing curb side pick up I get there expecting to go inside and the first I’m hearing of not being allowed in is at the door so don’t make the same mistake I did 🙄
