There is a great variety of options to shop for at Stowe Mercantile in Vermont! This store is really cool and old-fashioned. They offer everything from candy to clothes! It can be a little overwhelming since there is so much to look at. I wish I had planned for a bit more time to spend here. We also had a small bite to eat at their little cafe located on the second floor. Fresh sandwiches and snacks at an affordable price! Overall, I really enjoyed my shopping spree here!!

This is a fabulous general store in quaint Stowe Vermont. So much to choose from. Local products like syrup, cheese, pottery, beer, condiments etc. Vermont made beer and Cider is delicious. Strolling this street is delightful and this store is charming and interesting. Something new at every turn! I especially love the sleigh bells. Bookstore also on site. Plenty of parking. Must visit!

My husband and I were up there for the weekend, we love it up there and always go shopping there. The morning we were leaving I said to my husband I like those long sleeve tee shirts Id like to get one, so he bought me one, of course I got home tried it on and loved it, so I said well maybe they have more, so I called the store and was able to order three more tee shirts over the phone with Josh, what great service, and he was so nice and professional, and I got them in two days!! Stowe Mercantile is the best 😊 I’m a very happy customer and thank you especially Josh ❤️

Great place to get a souvenir or a gift.Everything you can think of when it comes to collectibles and more.Lots of maple flavor foods, local cheese, beer and chocolate.Definitely worth checking out whenever you're in Stowe.

Vacationing in Stowe this week. It has been a great trip. We are stopping into various shops and just left the Stowe Mercantie. This place is very clean, service is kind and quick. You will also find a great variety in the various shops. Enjoy the photos. The cloths are great quality, the food taste great, the hot sauce is hot and the candy is sweet. A+.

Right on Main, with several different retailers inside the building...lots to see and do, a cafe, book store, clothing shop and the Mercantile store which I love!!! So many goodies. The book store is impressive. There is plenty of parking on Main, but but during peak hours and seasons get there early. Customer service is wonderful especially the girls at the cafe, super friendly. A must go destination, plan on spending a while browsing and shopping. Food, gifts, housewares, clothing, cards, gifts, local handcrafts & art...the photos are a collection of a complete shopping experience from the multiple shops and cafe.

Hey- we missed going to our favorite Vermont iconic general store- you most likely know the place- and in doing so, we discovered this gem of a place!So happy to find out there are still magical places like this still in existence.A fun place to explore for young and old alike.Make sure you take a picture with the bear near the entrance- it makes for a neat memory.Cheers and happy shopping!

A step back in time. This place is packed with all kinds of items, parking is available across the street as well as behind the store. The Stowe Community Church is just down the street, you might also try the Black Cup Coffee & Bakery across from the church.

It was an amazing gathering of almost anything you could need, and things you didn't realize you needed. My wife had to be dragged out before she lost control. We did buy a great Christmas ornament of a coveted bridge (after we left the store, we hunted down 3 covered bridges). Mission completed. The people working in the store are very nice, and you can find SOME parking in the back of the store (take the narrow ally off main street. It runs along the side of the building. If you take a spouse, be prepared to spend a lot of time here.

Holy selection!!! If you need to step into one place for standard, and unique, gifts - here it is! (Some items are less expensive in other shops, but I didn’t see anywhere else with this inventory).They will ship your purchases! (Save that heavy baggage fee😎)

There are a few businesses within the building. We love the bookstore which has a wide selection of national titles and nicely curated sections of Vermont specific books and authors for adults and kids.The store downstairs has clothes, toys, housewares which celebrate Stowe and Vermont, and local food and beer as well.The coffee shop upstairs is great, but isn't always open.

Right next door to the Green Mountain Inn and The Whip, this store has the feel and look of one of those old-West mercantile stores. There's a wide variety of stuff to buy, from food to beer to souvenirs, and the staff is nice too. You'll always find something good to purchase for yourself or someone else!

Went here with my parents as part of our Vermont Vacation on August 28th 2023. We went here after driving around the town of Stowe, and visited the covered bridge. This is a big general store with lots of local goods like syrup, beets, some decorations. It's not bad, just not my cup of tea. My mom brought syrup, beets, and i brought some candy that was sold via the pound, and glad to see that there because i was a bit hungry. They had loads of candies, from sour patches (watermelon and kids), Sour worms, gummy worms, starburst, some liquirice, wonka nerds, and many other candies. i brought a bag of sour patches watermelon, starbursts, skittles, nerds, and some worms. Prices were okay. Probably wouldn't be back.

We love this place, and make sure to stop in every time we're in town. They have a great selection of locally made craft foods and treats, cool kitchen wares and fun home decor, as well as a huge assortment of Vermont- and Stowe-themed merchandise and souvenirs. They even have a self-serve candy display, which is a personal favorite. We usually end up buying way more than we should, but there's so much cool (and delicious) stuff it's hard not to...

It’s a lovely store with plenty of unique things. Everything is neatly organized. We picked up a variety of gifts for all ages here. The staff are very friendly, professional and the service is very good. The prices are very reasonable. There is parking available at depot street parking. Don’t miss shopping here when you visit Stowe.
