My go to in Stowe! I always make sure to stop by when I am in the area. They have a wide variety of foods from fun salads to filling hot entrees. The desserts are great and the vibe is fun and casual. Perfect place for a group or if you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten free.

Vegan friendly! Great balance between plant based comfort foods and nutrient dense options —there’s something for everyone on the menu here. Easygoing, casual vibe with kind, good-natured staff.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available for several menu items.

Ranch Camp is easily one of my new favorite restaurants in all of Vermont! This place is so good!! We visited here for the first time for lunch and WOW, the atmosphere was awesome, food was exceptional, and prices were super reasonable!! The whole place is bike-themed, and there are tons of cool paintings and other artwork with mountain bikes! The have a bike shop attached to the restaurant - you can rent mountain bikes here! There is indoor and outdoor seating, and even a chair lift you can sit on outside!!Almost EVERY food item can be made gluten-free (probably the best gluten-free options anywhere in Vermont) so we got the Shredded Beef Crunchwrap and the Percyrrito Burrito, with the Fried ‘Chokes as our appetizer! So freaking good! The fried artichokes were BY FAR the best I’ve ever had - didn’t even taste like artichokes! I’m never someone to willingly order a vegetable dish like this, and I am literally craving it right now. They had this tempura batter with it and such an amazing sauce. Definitely going to get that appetizer every time. The Percyrrito Burrito was the BEST burrito I have ever had!! Such good flavorful braised pork, apple, guacamole, rice, pico de gallo, VT cheddar and maple roja sauce?! Are you kidding me?! So good!! Definitely try this!!! And if they have the crunchwrap (it was a special, so might not be there every day) you NEED to try it. It takes the Taco Bell crunchwrap to a whole new level. One of the best Mexican-style foods I’ve had in a long time. It literally had crunchy cheese on the outside!!! That’s what a crunchwrap is supposed to be - they hit the nail on the head with that one! We are going to return very soon because this is a hidden gem in Stowe!!!EDIT: We just recently returned and had another amazing meal. We are so, so happy with this place. Ranch Camp is easily one of the best restaurants in Stowe, and this whole part of Vermont!

We love Ranch Camp! It's a great place to grab a bite. Well located at the heart of bike trails. It's half bike mountain bike shop and half restaurant. First, you'll need to get used to the ordering system with seat yourself: there is a main counter that is for takeout and a 2nd counter near the kitchen that is for sit-down eat in. This counter has the complimentary cold water and large glasses (help yourself). There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. For eat in, you'll get a number on a stand so they know where to bring your food. We've been here a number of times and they always get our order correct :-) The portions are healthy and the food is fresh and tasty. The burritos are a strong choice and the kids chicken fingers never fail. In the past, I've had the falafels and they aren't the best choice. The pearl bowl is tasty but there weren't a lot of scallops; our neighbors had the T-bowl and he likened it to tuna sushi. It's not fancy but you'll feel happy you ate here.Note: the family taco box is take out only and a great choice

We were recommended to this place by our can driver, Joe. It had a ton of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. We were very happy with all of our food choices. The artichokes were the best we've ever had! If we were staying here longer we would definitely be back!

We were in town to ski and saw a mountain bike themed spot with good reviews and had to check it out - so glad we did! We had a great meal and beers and got the 411 on the local trails from a great guy in the bike shop (we will be back in the warmer months to ride!). We bought a couple hats and headed back to the hotel. We were so impressed that on our last night in town we went back, rented some fat bikes, rode and came back to hang out for a bit. Lovely staff, hang out and fantastic food. We will be back.

The bartender only spoke to me to ask to take away my menus. I asked if there was any chance I could order. Surprisingly, she did take my order, even though she obviously did not want to. I felt like a freak of nature because everyone else at the bar was getting quick service. I had been sitting there for 10 minutes. I looked at her every minute or two, indicating I wanted to order, but she ignored me, except to take away first my drink menu, then my food menu. And that was so that she could give them to other people. She never asked if I wanted a drink. The tacos and guacamole lacked salt majorly. To the owner: I see in other reviews that you ask the customers if they asked to speak to the management. I did not because I could hardly get the bartender's attention at all. It was extremely rude. It was last night, Saturday 2/10/24 and it was the young bartender with blond hair, a cap, and a lot of makeup. I would have been happy to speak to you in person, that would have felt a lot better than being ignored. Also, there are no chain restaurants in Stowe, so our honest reviews may help people find a different restaurant in town. But, most people would probably get service at the bar, unlike me, so if you look like a normal restaurant-goer in Stowe, it will probably go well. The other people at the bar got service just fine, that's why the bartender wanted the menus from me, to give them to the customers whom she saw deserving of service. My friend didn't have a problem getting service. The bartender was purposely ignoring me, my friend noticed and was the one who pushed me to tell the bartender to take my order. It honestly felt like discrimination. It's too bad because I was there in November 2023 and both the food and service were much better.

Food was really really good. Had the ahi tuna burger, the Stowe salad, and the fried artichokes and everything was really tasty. Service is pretty much non existent since you order at the bar and get a number but staff was nice. Only thing is I wish they had real utensils instead of plastic… disappointing but food was good.

The Stowe local salad was lovely. My husband had the Mexican Burrito and my son add the crispy chicken and fries. Everything was delicious. Great beer selection as well. And to top it off the staff knows all the best biking trails.

The bartender refused to serve me because she thought my license was fake. While I understand the right to refuse service, I don’t see how there isn’t a way to verify (like a scanner) real vs fake IDs. Very disappointed in her lack of service.Edit/ My suggestion is that there should be better training of staff to identify fake licenses or a scanning device to assist, if the staff is unfamiliar with a neighboring states ID.This review is about the service, not the food.

We first visited Ranch Camp back in late October during an impromptu trip up to Stowe. We were blown away by how good the food was, so during our latest snowboarding trip the other day we decided to get lunch here again. The food and service did not disappoint. I'm pretty sure we'll eat here every time we visit Stowe.

I went solo on a busy Saturday. I was going to grab a beer and wait by the firepit outside while a spot opened, however, the host was very accommodating for me and helped me nab a stool at the bar within about 5 minutes. The beer menu was great and I ordered the Crunch Wrap. Do yourself a favor and do the same. It's all the great things about a TB one, but with fresh ingredients and CHEESE MELTED ON TOPPP.The atmosphere is interesting because its a bike shop, but also a restaurant. It's almost like Stowe's version of a Nashville Boot Shop/ Honky-tonk, it just works. I am genuinely disappointed I hadn't checked it out before since I'm not a huge bike person, please don't make that mistake too!I noticed on the menu that they do Brunch Wraps and Mimosas on Sundays and I have yet to make the pilgrimage to enjoy those yet, so you my friend, will have to do that for me.Kid-friendliness: Very open and bustling environment with family friendly options.

My review and experience has only been with the adjacent Bike Shop but it looks like the food is great too and I hope to try it if I make it to Stowe. I recently purchased a bike online from the shop and guys at Ranch Camp. When a few issues were discovered they were quick to address them and were great to work with. I only wish they were a local shop closer to me. Special thanks to Max, who was great through the process, as well as Mar and Joey. They are lucky to have you all. 5 stars guys!

We stopped in to takeout dinner just after arriving in town. So many delicious gluten free options, even fried artichokes - yum! Everything else was good too. Kid friendly, although no telling if it could be a wait for a table.

Food was decent - good (not great) fries, tried the Cobb salad & pork burrito. Really liked the fried chokes. Service was poor to average. Food runner was pleasant enough, cashier was very cold which felt like a bad way to start the experience there. Nice view outside.

The concept is fantastic, but the execution makes it all work. Beer, burritos and a fully functional bike shop in one location!!! Trail head parking and oh yeah, the bike shop will actually fix/help with issues in real time! None of the "leave your bike and maybe we'll get to it in two weeks" nonsense other shops tend to do. And yes, on the food side quite a few vegan and vegetarian options. Patio tables, too...bring your mask, keep VT safe!

Vermont is really strict on their Covid rules which is so cool because everybody stays safe. However, it makes dining somewhat of a challenge, most restaurants in Stowe, Burlington, and Waterbury don’t open for breakfast, don’t open for lunch, and they only open at 4 PM for dinner service. We luckily found ( after looking at four other restaurants) This little gem called ranch camp. It’s right off of Highway 100 and it really has the most bomb appetizers and salad and burgers and burritos and tacos. I got the Cobb salad, we had the fried chokes as an appetizer, and my husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich, all of which were huge portions and really delicious. I don’t know what they put in that special artichoke sauce but it was on point; the most delicious sauce I’ve ever had with a fried artichoke. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return.

We stopped in to have an issue with my bike diagnosed and they were great. They determined the issue immediately and gave me advise on how to resolve the issue. We decided to eat here and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful. The Cobb Salad was super impressive. Eat here when you're in Stowe.

Closes “early” ish.. there is a place behind it that they suggest that seemed lively incase you can’t make it here by 8pm.Fries are delicious.Everyone on the menu was great - ample outdoor seating. Mosquitos though, so be prepared for that! August 2021.

Bar food,. I ordered crispy fries, and ask them if they weren't saggy. They said definitely crispy and I got this bottom of the barrel oily fries.I'll go elsewhere next time.Although staff was nice.

So glad we stumbled upon this place! Our first two nights in Stowe we went to top recommended/ranked places on TripAdvisor and had below average experiences. We found Ranch Camp down the list when looking for something different and so glad we did! Great beer selection and kids menu choices. My husband had a tasty Cobb salad he’d been looking for since arriving and I had a great burrito. Fun vibe and nice outdoor seating. 100% recommend.
