Demo'd skis recommended by Jake- for my husband and I. He got it right. Great experience. We purchased these skis on our way out of town (from another great staff member - my husband was taking trucks with him, but didn't get his name), bought the skis along with some new ski clothing. Great staff. Great gear! Highly recommended to anyone in STOWE.

I had my demo ski here. Hit there around late Monday afternoon, the service was outstanding and agile. All staffs were down to earth and so knowledgeable about what they do. Honestly it’s not cheap price to demo here (maybe anywhere in Stowe is pricey) but def worth to visit to chat about the models in your mind.

Great one on one service. The attendants on the floor were able to help get sizes for clothing and gave information on all the brands and products. While renting equipment it was very easy to speak with someone and they provided everything I needed.If you stay at a hotel in the area be sure to inquire about a 20percent discount.

Great shop. Jack was incredibly helpful in letting me know the skis I demo'd were available for purchase, since it's season's end. Taking home a gorgeous pair of Volkl's, and he made the process super simple. Truly devoted employee. Picked up a few more things on the way out the door, great selection and prices.

The only positive thing about this place is that it looks well kept and maintained. The staff that works there doesn't seem to actually try to fit you correctly for skis. When we were renting, there was another customer coming back to get refitted. We ended up with blisters from being incorrectly sized so we also had to come back. They just seem to not care too much. I'd go somewhere that staff actually shows interest.

I'm not one to write reviews often but they most definitely deserve a 5 star rating all around. They're whole team goes above and beyond for our ski team. Great rental packages with high quality equipment. Super fast shipping. Will never shop anywhere else for our ski gear. A special thanks to Mark for being so accommodating.

I rented skis and told the person fitting me that my foot was crammed in my boot and he told me it was fine. After 3 hours of skiing I was limping and my ankle was bruised and swollen. Went back to get refitted and I was supposed to be in a whole size bigger. My foot hurt so bad I didn't end up skiing the next day. I wish he had listened to me when I said my foot was crammed.My husband got boots one size too big and the buckle was broken so he was in pain because the shins were hitting where they weren't supposed to.So they kinda ruined our second day we had planned skiing. We had the boots resized but we were In too much painWhen we got them resized we didn't really get acknowledgement that they messed upSo we wasted a day of private lessons and a day of ski rentals because our feet were ruinedOh well. At least the store is organized well. Lol

Called at 5:45pm if we can get our boards waxed 3 snowboards and a ski the worker on phone said yes..so 6 of the co workers all on phones didn’t even wanna be bothered when we arrived. We got there at 6:15 and they close at 7pm. When we called they said they’ll be ready at 8:30am tomorrow. Co workers are lazy and didn’t even wanna be bothered too do there job.

Found a great deal here. We went to 4 other stores in the area. But best price was here! Location is great. They had 20% on everything and manager was able to give us even better deal on top that. Highly recommend. They also have great deals on used equipment in the end of each season!

The people working here are rude and not helpful. My friends and I needed to rent boots & skis for the weekend. When we asked for different size boots/skis, they didn’t respect our requests. They treated us like idiots. Find another ski shop in town to rent from.

This place was AWESOME! As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is warm & welcoming. Chris helped me out so much. Beyond grateful to have run into such a kind and humorous man! Gave me a great deal on my first pair of skis and made me super comfortable throughout the whole experience. Very knowledgeable and down to earth. I highly recommend checking this place out for ski rentals and any last minute purchases before hitting the slopes! We’ll be back!

Rented bikes here. Amazing quality bikes and kid trailer. Our toddler freaked out a few minutes into our rental time and we unfortunately had to turn back and return them :( the staff at Pinnacle were so kind and accommodating, gave us a full refund. We will definitely come back to rent from them again next time (and hopefully make it for a bit longer on the trail!)

Fantastic customer service! From the time we walked in until when we returned our skis we received nothing but top notch service! They got the kids fitted in the correct gear and we had no issues with the boots, skis or poles. I would highly recommend these guys!

UPDATE: I went back to the store to pickup the items I bought online. While there I noticed the place was running a lot more to par with the great reviews in the past. I think the changes have been positive and will help gain even more customers. I think prior to the recent changes it was easy to be complacent as the largest ski store in town for one of the best ski resorts in the world since you will be guaranteed to have customers.t seems like the store is now being managed more closely, and the attendants were very helpful when I had a lot of questions regarding Goggles and ski lessons.

My son purchased a pair of Liberty 101 skis from their online retailer, skiessentials , at the end of 21/22 season.He ended up buying a different pair and giving the Liberty’s to me. He is about the same height, weight and ability, and his boot one size smaller. After some googling I adjusted bindings myself and enjoyed them all season, but wanted to have the bindings checked out during my visit to Stowe this past week. I did just that, but I was a bit surprised when the sales woman brings the skis back 5 minutes later and says “ All set that will be $55”. I guess I should have asked but I wasn’t expecting to pay $55. I expected better customer service, not to mention, I also bought my wife’s skis there. Live and learn as they say!

Best ski shop in town (they also do bikes)! They have good equipment, good rental services, and good customer service. They are open late during ski season so you can get your equipment tuned the night before a powder day. I've been a customer here since I was a little kid. These guys always treat you right and set you up for an epic year on the slopes.

Had a really great experience here. We rented demo skis, then bought skis. All the staff was super helpful to understand differences in skis, what was in stock, what we might want to try. We went to be fitted for ski boots and the staff was honest saying there wasn't anything in stock that would be right. The distance to swap skis during the day is convenient from Stowe resort as long as there isn't fresh snow or weekend traffic. They refund one demo rental day towards purchased skis which is very nice.

Had a really great experience there today. A lady helped me with the helmets and she gave me so much information about them and I ended up spending way more than I had planned. She was kind and knowledgeable, and I was happy to go for the upgrade. I live closer to AJ‘s so that has been our go to for years, but I am done spending our money there with how unbearably and laughably rude they are. I feel so good about my encounter today at Pinnacle and will continue to go to here instead of AJ’s from now on

Avoid boot shop. On the spring sale last year I was sold a pair of boots. Come to find out the boots are women's boots. I am not a women. Perhaps there are Cosmetic differences only but non the less I was not informed of this. Used the boots once it got cold and they would not get on or off my feet without causing harm to my body. Yes they sold me ill fitting women's boots. When I went to discuss they said sure we"ll do an exchange. I was very happy until I was shown a pair of boots that did not appeal to me and the salesman told me it didn't matter what the boots looked like as If there was a problem not excepting a really ugly designed boot. Again pushing a product that served reducing their inventory instead of the customers needs. When I pushed back I was finally fit with a boot that I liked and fit well. Yes folks thats why were here. When I got to the register the sales person told me the cost I owed would be almost double. He never told me that. I then asked for my got money back and they gave it to me. You decided after hearing this if you should trust your boot purchase to this outfit.

Amazing service for ski boot fittings. I've been fighting my boots for years and they provided a solution. I was a walk in during a busy time and they spent nearly 3 hours with me going over needs. I cannot recommend them enough!

This is the best place we know of for a ski lease for junior skiers (our daughter is in a race program.) The quality of the equipment and fitting is the best you can get; we drive up from Boston each year cause it’s that good and prices are the same as other shops! Very friendly service too!!

Very mediocre customer service. Tried to buy xc skis online.Appears they have no idea what they are selling, can’t advice on fit of what they have and end up just sending pictures of stickers for me to decide.Took two weeks to get my questions sorted - turnaround time to get an answer is 2-3 days.Then I placed an order and… silence.Checked in few days - and now they tell me that their processing time is 5-7 days cause they have “high volume of orders”. Didn’t tell me this before I placed an order though. I decided to cancel order - not prepared to wait, don’t know what else this guys forgot to tell, don’t want to waste time returning and looking for other skis if they screw up the order.Wouldn’t recommend, very disappointing buying experience.
