We called ahead to place our order (great tip!). Our sandwiches were ready by the time we got there. It on the way to Stowe Mountain Resort. The sandwiches were hearty, filling and great tasting! There's also great bakery items, nicely prepared foods, beer and wine available as well. Staff was super friendly. We would absolutely recommend and will go back next time we're going to Stowe to ski!

I’ve had two sandwiches and a dinner to go. The food is outstanding! The people are friendly and helpful. The prices are generally good for what you get, especially for the to-go dinners. (Less so for the $14 Italian sandwich. But it’s Stowe so what are you gonna do?) We’ve been going everyday since we got here, and will be there again tomorrow. Great place!

Edelweiss is such a lovely deli & market located right on Mountain Road in Stowe. The deli makes delicious made to order sandwiches and offers a variety of to-go food options, like pasta salad. Their bakery is amazing- you must get a chocolate chip cookie!

Excellent deli with awesome sandwiches near the mountain. My girlfriends family has been coming here for decades and the place is always great for food or groceries. Staff is super nice and the store itself is very clean and nice. I highly recommend this place.

Don’t miss this place out!!!The best corned beef I eat in the US. The meet literally so soft and also the brad is fantastic! Great place to grab any kind of meal/snack 🙌🏻

We Loved Edelweiss! Great service and a fair assortment to choose from. You can get dishes to go or eat right there on the patio. The food was all good. We had pastries and some baked goods for while we were on the recreation bike path. You would like most anything you purchase here.

Totally awesome deli in Stowe. Great prices and great food, plus local foods, and yummy desserts!I got such a delicious and normally-priced roast beef sandwich on one of my first days in Stowe that I went back and got another one twice! They make it right in front of you, really quickly while you shop so you can ask them for whatever you want, like extra horseradish or whatever.There's a picnic table outside and people were eating lunch and having a soda or drink there all the time, yet it was never packed or crazy like most of the restaurants down in Stowe proper.All three people that were working the register were amazing and cool. Great shop! Go here for a dope sandwich at a good price and skip the lines farther down the mountain road!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Went there three times in three days! Their sandwiches from the deli were phenomenal. I got a "Montreal we" which was hot pastrami, thousand island dressing, and coleslaw. My wife had a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and stuffing, and my daughter had a breakfast burrito. We also got the chicken salad which is out of this world. They have incredible baked goods as well, including nearly perfect chocolate chip cookies, great whoopie pies, and other treats. They have a great selection of drinks, chips, beer, wine, and other foods (think bread, eggs, etc). Finally, they are also home to Black Flannel distillery a small batch outfit making gin, whiskey, rum and other craft spirits! Staff is great, and wish I had a store/deli like this close to me!

A great local favorite, excellent deli sandwiches for a quick bite on the way to the mountain. Loads of beer to choose from, and wine too. Surprised to see they even sell almond milk, a staple for my diet. Will be back for the Barr Hill tastings.

Delicious and affordable (compared to many of the restaurants in Stowe). Grab and go, convenient location. Grabbed a meatloaf sandwich after getting off the slopes yesterday. I’m not a meatloaf person, but this was DELICIOSO!!! Saw all the amazing sweets and had to come back today to celebrate my 25th bday! The peanut butter chocolate bar is heaven. And the lemon case, so moist!Incredible people, great food. A must.

Don’t pass by this gem! Googled somewhere to eat that was close (I’m staying at the Trapp Lodge) and saw Edelweiss Deli. Went in for a “simple” sandwich and it was so much more: deli, organic food stuff, local beer, wine, bakery, edibles, liquor, oh my!! From the deli I got the Moscow - no tomato, added bacon and mayonnaise in a spinach wrap. The wrap was packed with meats. I’m going back tomorrow for a sweet treat because the bakery display was drool worthy. Well done, Edelweiss. Well done.

Been visiting Stowe for long weekends all seasons for many years. Edelweiss consistently has fantastic breakfast burritos, very good coffee and exceptional baked goods. Oh, and an amazing selection of cold beer and VT goods. Highly recommended to grab breakfast or lunch to bulk up on your hike or bike trip in Stowe.
