⚠️ ⚠️ Wild Fern is not open until 11am on the weekend. The owner, Heather, is a sweet and wonderful woman and doesn't deal much with the internet. I've submitted a change request.We arrived early, unbeknownst to us. Heather greeted us and let us know that she wasn't open until 11 and that she had to run some bread up the street, but that when she came back we were welcome to come in and sit while she opened.The exterior/diner/café itself is an artistic expression of who the owner is. We had a long stay here full of conversation with Heather, but had we never spoken a word we still would've known all about her.Atmosphere and service is world class. The food is made to order and it's completely fresh. Heather is self-taught, but you wouldn't have guessed.We ordered everything she offered that morning - donuts, waffles, and a bagel sandwich. The coffee was perfect and she's really enthusiastic about her tea selection.This place is more than breakfast. It's an experience if you're open to it.

AH! I feel so warm just recalling the other day when my gal took me to this magical little cafe. Look no further for a sunday breakfast or brunch spot, not only will you be surrounded by beings from all walks of life who come together to enjoy the warm and soulful atmosphe of this place but theres also live music! Young + old coming together to play music with one another, laughing and relaxing. Magical. Wonderful. Grateful.

Wow! The Wild Fern is an amazing experience. The Zeus pizza brought my fiancée and I right back to our favorite pizza place in Australia and the pork tostadas were filled with flavor! Heather, the owner, was so welcoming and I was amazed to see she does all the kitchen work by herself. It felt like my Aunt was cooking for us after not seeing each other for quite some time. Well done Aunt Heather!! Highly recommend checking out the Wild Fern. It will be an experience you will not forgot. O... and BYOB or else you will have to drive 3 mins down the road to pick some up!

Wild Fern is a gem! The owner makes the best bagels I have ever had and delicious pizza the night we went. She and 3 friends play original music which was really fun. It is a very friendly and fun atmosphere!

Wonderful little cafe with live music even at brunch! Heather makes amazing pancakes and Rick is a superb musician. We were driving by on our way back from skiing and took a chance. Enchanting atmosphere and warm service. I would go out of my way to come back.

The Wild Fern is the BEST. Heather and Rick make you feel so "at home". I have been there for Sunday brunch twice and have a hard time leaving each time I go. I wish I lived closer so I could go every week. You can definitely tell the food and music are made with LUV ♡♡

Sunday brunch is great. Don't be in a hurry. Rick Reddington shares the stage with other local artists between noon and 2:00 PM. Warm atmosphere and homemade baked goods. Perfect escape from the daily rat race.

During our last few hours in Stockbridge, VT we were lucky to have brunch at Wild Fern. Fresh house made bagels and donuts and a breakfast sandwich with eggs, spinach, caramelized onions and cheddar on an everything bagel were all outstanding. They have limited hours, but if you can get there for a meal, do it!
