A good variety, quite well organized and presented. The bakery is lovely, with lots to choose from, and the meat selection has never been bad.The prices can be a tad high if you don't take advantage of sales, and those may not apply to everything you need.The self check-outs are good, but I do find it a little embarrassing that the machines loudly declare the price of the items you scan one at a time.

Though Springfield at times resembles a 3rd world country, it's a shame that their only supermarket works hard to keep up appearances. Way too expensive and almost never properly stocked. I realize that keeping employees is difficult, and that we've been experiencing supply chain issues. But I'm in supermarkets all day for work and I've yet to see anything that comes close. It's truly shameful and the people deserve better.

My son and I moved to Springfield Vermont in December and was promised both full-time jobs at Shaws after we started we both got only 20 to 24 hours a week. My son's boss in the meat department told him he didn't do enough on his shift to get full-time he also told him he didn't have time to train him. I was hired for a CSR upfront management never happened because I weren't in the front end managers little group. She hired a bunch of young school kids that did nothing but goof off at the front end customers use to complain but nothing got done. The HR lady doesn't know anything about the insurance we were always told to call corporate about things. My son weren't allowed to bag for me when his work was done but they have mother and son and mother and daughter working together. My son and I now have full-time jobs elsewhere and we're alot happier. Yikes had to wait 3 to 3 1/2 hours just to get a break but the upfront manager and her favorites could go out whenever they wanted to to smoke. I'd give it no stars but it won't let me.

Awesome store with a little bit of everything and was really well stocked when I visited. I’m from out of town and they pretty much had everything I could’ve needed and a little bit more as well. His recommendation for a one stop shop.

Shaws wifi isn't the greatest (any) I've been doing IC and they seem to be out of lots of items. Staff is great, most of them atleast.

Don't like the place try not to spend my money here but the closest store near me. Shrink products are the same price for smaller portions price gouging . Just down right greed

This store claims to have things on the app then claims it doesn’t have it then when I call down there they have it then they substitute with something completely different you guys should either restock more or update your app and website. Also a few of your employees are rude.

Only thing that keeps me coming back is location! When I need to do serious grocery shopping; I go elsewhere. You would think being the only real supermarket in the area, this Shaws would be doing huge volume, but prices keep most local shoppers away.

Good selection but crazy high prices. I guess when you're the only place in town you be like that. I feel bad for folks in town who don't have transportation and so don't have a choice but to shop there

The store was clean and had a decent selection. However, the prices are out-of this world! Seriously 25% higher than the price chopper in my town. Also, the store was fairly crowded being a Saturday late afternoon and the store only had two checkout lines open, so the wait was long. Also, not the stores fault but be careful of the lowlife kids causing trouble harassing people and throwing garbage around in the parking lot. All-in-all I would NOT recommend this store or shopping center.

Staff is polite and generally well stocked but the deli always pulls their hot food before it's even 6pm. No wings, chicken, fries or anything warm out past 6pm which, last I checked, was the normal dinner time where EVERYONE is looking for hot food. They even refuse to prepare anything after 530, closing their frier before then. When I worked there, this would have NEVER been tolerated. Apparently management has lost interest in the customers or simply doesn't care anymore. Very disappointing.

Watch what you get charged at the register. I have been overcharged on more than 1 occasion. Sometimes if it is too expesive or inconvenient to drive back, I let it go and just keep an eye on what the groceries ring up at next time. Today my husband was going to make a ham sandwich with ham we bought 2 days ago. It was slimy and smelled bad. The chicken breast I bought was fine except I was overcharged by a dollar per pound. I can't post my TRUE opinion because it won't let you post ZERO Stars. The service is good and the store is clean, but I really do not like shopping there The prices are too high for the locals and the quality has gone way down.

They seem to work hard, I wish that there were more self check out kiosks. Staff are generally polite. They don't have a ton of allergy friendly products especially if you have more allergens than dairy and gluten. I know that their power has shut down multiple times leading to stock shortage but that's not their fault.

Shaw's is the worst supermarket chain ever. Prices are so high that I finally signed up for its digital coupon program. And no matter what I do that coupons are never taken off when I buy the products. The first time it happened I didn't check my receipt until I got home. But it's happened every time since and now I check the receipt while I am standing there. I have to hunt down an associate to get it fixed. And how they advertise the products in the flyer is misleading. Digital coupon deal products are always on a different timeline than the regular sale products, and they put the information in a different place all the time so you won't notice it.I would have said this was specific to my local Shaw's, but it happens at every Shaw's I go into. I generally buy my groceries at Market Basket and I never have an issue in that store.

This is a typical small town small grocery. They have everything you need, but at a premium price that will make you go way over budget if you use it as your primary grocery store. Fine for picking up a few essentials. They have a very invasive employee psychological screening policy and are not a company I feel good about supporting.

As always in this lovely establishment I was overcharged for an item. I asked for it to be corrected and told I jeed to go to the deli and have it corrected by Gail the customer service rep. since whe. is it the customer's job to do our own price checking. Couldn't they have call the debt or another staff member and price check like they have the last 40 years of my life. I guess I'm supposed to stop self check out and price check. get back in line and hope the next item isn't wrong. I paid 4 dollars more a pound for sandwich meat 1/3 more the cost it was supposed to be because Hunter and Gail couldn't complete the task. you guys will no longer see me at this dump

This is my local Shaw's, and I've been pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices and wide selection of allergy-friendly foods. In my household we have allergies to dairy, gluten, corn products, soy, and fish, and Shaw's has been a life saver for finding alternatives to all these allergens at prices affordable for us as people living on fixed income. My one critique is it's sometimes very crowded, but that's not Shaw's fault so much as an annoying side effect of being located in Springfield. All in all, a great local supermarket for pretty much anything you're looking for.

The price are way to high for ppl who lives in this town . The brown paper bags have no handles so it's hard on everyone when u carry ur food to the house bags break and u pay money for them. Out of stock on items. The food that is perpare and cook at the store is either out dated or cold and nasty . Some people are nice .

If shop sale items it's not bad. It's clean and usually you can get thru checkout easily, BUT...if u don't go in with a planned list and it's between 4pm&7pm you will pay $60/bag(plus 10c for the paper bag) and it will take an HR or more to get thru the line.

ONLY LARGE GROCERY STORE IN TOWN.It sucks spending hundreds of dollars every time I go, and it being unpleasant. Even the new self checkout takes forever. It's a poor design to reduce theft that only aggrevates.I would shop elsewhere after dealing this place. It's too stressful. Limited selection.

Love the produce dept...hands down the best in the area...the prices are a bit more expensive but the store is always well stocked and employees friendly. The deli has great selection and they have a great butcher and seafood dept. I really love this store. Check out time is usually pretty fast, as well.

Now the store is what it is...but I thought I was going to like the self checkouts and I'm sure they work fine for a lot of people....but if you have multiple small items that are the same thing and you don't need or want a bag it takes 30 extra (being a little dramatic) seriously had eitght little packets of sauce mix..the worker hade to come over three times. I was in the middle of a work shift. Self checkouts should be efficient like the ones at Walmart.

The woman that cashed me out was so beyond rude and clearly hated her job. Every time i put anything on counter she would huff and puff and groan and do the same whenever someone would get into line. They also need to improve the just for you coupons. 4 bags of groceries was $200!!

Big Shaw's with a wide assortment, layout feels a bit confusing to me but I could just not be used to it. If you're looking for reasonably priced groceries in West Lebanon and especially produce, come to Shaw's. Especially compared to Price Chopper their stuff seems super fresh.

Get a justforU number because that's the only way to get a price break. They have a good selection of food. Nice produce and meat alternative section. My biggest problem with this store is that you pay more than you would elsewhere and then have to bag your own food. More often than not I have to bag my food. No one should pay more and bag more. Bad business model.
