I cannot even begin to describe how unsightly this Dollar General is. We were traveling through the area and wanted some cold foods to put in our coolers and everything was either broken, out of stock, or you had to cut / open the packaging yourself to get what you wanted. While waiting in the self checkout line, a staff member texting came up and I asked her if she was going to ring people up. She said she /can/ but that the machine takes cash or card. Even though that didn't really answer my question. I just turn and look at the line behind me and then back at her and she sighed and took me at a register. The entire time ringing me up, she kept her phone in her other hand waiting for a text or something. Obviously something more important than work. I was just shocked how bad overall this location is and would not recommend it at all.

Most of the time, this Dollar General is neat and organized. There is a store in Charlestown, NH, that is always a cluttered mess. One is able to buy a variety of items that can be found easily. The staff has always been polite. The prices are extremely reasonable and you never have to wait in a long line. There is also a self checkout option that I find comes in handy.

Clean marked Isles no more clutter more necessities that you need. Love it 11/ 7/ 2023Now the clutter is back.Because Dollar General business does not want to hire people for more than 24 hours a week.

The new addition is nice and this is the most organized and clean Dollar General that I've been in and I've been to many of their locations between vermont and New Hampshire

Store is clean and well organized. The employees are drudges however, who need more enthusiasm about customer service. STAY at the register when you have people shopping!!! We don't want to wait to check out while you are stocking shelves!!

I would truly like to thank north Springfield vt Dollar General store for doing good for there customers . There very friendly and they have a VERY Clean restroom for there Employees and there Customers. We had a great time shopping there an there workers r so friendly and helpful and much more. THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR US ALL.

There are a lot of times that they have boxes sprawled all over, but it's nothing compared to family dollar. It's so much better!!!! They were very helpful when we were trying to find something. It's a so-so experience.

Great place to stop in and pick up a few groceries, household things, outdoor needs, etc for relatively inexpensive prices! The downside is they are usually understaffed which leaves product not on shelves in a timely manner to meet customer needs! It isn't their fault, but corporate needs to allow more workers per locations!

Selection is decent for a dollar store but you can't get thru the line within an hr if there's more than 2 ppl in it. It's usually clean. The bathroom is iffy, not my fave. Plenty of parking. That's abt it.

Went here last nite and I’ve only been in a handful of times as I don’t live In spfld and as soon as we walked in all we could smell thru the whole store was trash or like septic . It was nasty and other customers could smell it also . Also every time I have come in here you can’t get to most of the shelves because the aisles are full of the big cart things full of stuff that needs to be put away . And one of the carts had cold food , or was cold at one time . I would not buy your cold food from this store just an FYI and j hope people read these ! I did tell the cashier and she claimed she couldn’t smell it , if she couldn’t smell it she has a serious nasal issue because it made me want to vomit and another customer I was talking to was like holding her breath to not smell it !!

I would give more stars if the place was cleaner and stuff wasn't just left in the isles. Prices are ok but after holiday seasons they still charge a higher price than Family Dollar i.e., %50 off when others are doing %75 off. The staff however are quite nice.

An adequate selection of items. Biggest drawback is store is VERY crowded as far as items in isles that are waiting to be stocked. Isles are narrow and I have actually tripped over items in isles.

Wow... since renovating and adding more space, it's much more organized and there are no more isles totally blocked off by stuff that hasn't been shelved.

This $ General is the worst one I've been to. The town I lived in before here, 1/4 of the size of Springfield and their $Gen is twice as big with much more selection and way more organized.

Convenient when you don't want to go all the way to Claremont for something, however, the line is always long from 4 to 7pm. And they always have 1 cashier.

Never in my life seen a store in such disarray... empty shelves everywhere... either needs new management from lack of ordering or some not so lazy people stocking shelves... either way not a pleasant experience!

Store is really rundown and mismanaged. The store manager is always on a power trip and is very ride to customers. She is not fit to manage a lemonade stand. VERY UNPLEASANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

The lady at the counter really rude to me just came down on to get cat food for her to tell me that I have 15 mins to leave then she said she hoped someone fell and tripped on there way out poor service
