Roma and staff are a delight. Their meat counter, divine. We were there for lunch, but left with a bag full of dinner and breakfast.You could tell from the many customers this is a destination butcher. Had I known sooner, one of those incredible rib roasts could have been mine. Next time.Roma has a small selection behind glass, but it became apparent there was lots more behind the scenes. If you want something you don’t see, most definitely ask. I grabbed some short ribs, and they had to check to see if they weren’t already bespoke. Who calls ahead for short ribs? I have a suspicion the answer will be ME going forward!Jowl bacon will be put to good use before the holiday is over. Breakfast sausages as well.Can’t wait to return for meat and another sandwich from the bistro!

This is for both the butchery itself and the AMAZING new bistro located within. We dined there with some great friends on the second night they were open, and it was superb! It’s hard to believe it was her second night, the food was absolutely on point. The service was friendly and great. We so desperately needed someplace like this in our area. I’m sure it’s going to be very difficult to make a reservation there since you’re only open Friday and Saturday nights currently but it’ll be worth the wait!

This place is great! Roma has some good quality meat, but also lots of other great products. I wasn’t expecting them to have delicious baked goods, but they do! It’s definitely worth stopping by to see what The day’s offers are. I’m. Definitely going back for some donuts and sausages asap!

They started out small, just a butcher shop. Now they do AMAZING lunches from 11-3. They might seem pricy, but for all local ingredients (some from their own farm!), its worth every penny. Just had my first lunch today. Roast beef and kimchee, side of their own baked beans. It was nothing less than amazing.

Great butchers (outside of winter) recently added a bistro - we stopped by for the first time this past weekend and enjoyed the food! The Reuben was delish and the service great. Highly recommend it!

One word to describe Roma and Roma’s Butchery: Righteous.Went home and made myself a pork chop and then the next day prepared the brisket; both were superb. It made me feel good to cook with meat that was from the area procured and butchered by a professional.

Happened upon Roma Butchery driving the backroads of Vermont. Purchased a flat iron steak to cook at camp. One of the best steaks we have eaten. The donuts were great too! The shop was a perfect stop!

Liz Roma has a passion for preparing meats and more... We enjoy the'Daily Grind" of fresh ground beef, offal, rabbit, huge pork chops, unique Asian style rib cuts, pasture raised chicken and healthy dog and cat treats. We are so lucky to have such a incredibly skilled and beautiful lady butcher!
