Shopping here is so convenient and easy. Everyone is very helpful and they have a great selection of items available. This was a trip to pick up mulch for my gardens. I ordered online and picked up less than an hour later. They loaded 12 bags into my car. The mulch is excellent, 3 cf bags, and it's very uniform and stays put. I will be ordering more soon.

Iv shopped here all my life, they have pretty much anything you could need, especially in a pinch/on the spot. Good customer service and crew working there. My only complaint ever.. is their prices. I understand being in small town VT, prices will be high but being a larger chain store, you'd think they could do better with their pricing for their customers. This is why folks will travel to west Lebanon NH, home depot over going local if they have a large project to do. Some prices are reasonable but for the most part, things cost much more then hardware needs in NH. All in all, great store, they'll have what your looking for.

I rented a Uhaul trailer and tried to return it after hours. They had their lot gated off and no place to turn around. No one said they didn’t have after hours returns. This was very disappointing and frustrating. I can’t comment on their hardware store abilities but this doesn’t speak well!

As a local shopper that went there frequently, I went in to purchase propane and waited some time. when i went to the register i was told that the amount hadn't gone in yet. the Cashier then became very rude, and snappy. When i had gone and talked to another employee about leaving a review as the cashier was rude. It ended up being the daughter of the yard worker... I will now drive all the the way 3 towns over to get anything i need from a hardware store.

The store is stocked with special items that I always seem to have trouble finding elsewhere. Plus there are friendly people to help you find things quickly. Great location for those of us near RT 14.

Store personnel have not provided any updates for chainsaw repair after 6 plus weeks of dropping off. I have called weekly and none of the staff know when required parts will be available. One staff member provided erroneous information on when I the repair would be completed. Very frustrating.

By far the best Aubuchon in Central Vermont. The staff are always helpful, attentive, and friendly. They stayed open when they lost power; it allowed us to pick up a space heater and stay warm, as we too had lost power. Unlike the Barre and Montpelier stores, this Aubuchon provides equipment and tool rentals. Extremely useful! We’ll be shopping at this particular Aubuchon for as long as we live in Central Vermont.

I came to buy Play Sand, but it must be dry, & it says Dried on the bag. But yours was stored outside, wet and frozen solid. Attention to details like that would help you to survive. I did find a few items I needed. So. Royalton is not an upscale town so I think having so many expensive pet foods, for instance, may not be good. Your hardware dept is very good and will be handy for local people who need that type of thing.

I live in town. I love having Welches here. Like 2 miles from my house. You might pay a couple of penny's more than a Box store down in West Leb.. I prefer the convenience and the people are great

I go here often. The women inside are nice but the man who fills our propane tanks goes above and beyond. The younger taller man just incase anyone wants to have the nest costumer service

As a long time customer, my family will not go to Welch's again. They have started to sell Beta Fish, hamsters and rabbits. All these animals are kept in incredibly small quarters, and the rabbits are rarely with hay (they are supposed to have unlimited access to hay and ample room to run around). Please stop selling pets if you can't even take care of them properly. You're a hardware store, not a pet store. I used to love going to Welch's... but it's a shame that they had to start selling pets and treating them terribly.It's saddening to even walk by these animals, as they are scared, without proper food, and kept in very small areas.

This is usually a great place, but today there were tons of empty shelves in many different areas of the store. Weird. It's like they are going out of business, or they are having some serious supply chain issues that other hardware stores aren't.

I recently rented a toro dingo. I was able to get the machine the same day. It was reasonably priced given the attachments that come with it on its own trailer. Some mechanical features were non-fuctional upon arrival. I had to make a road stop for a leaking valve stem on one of the trailer tires. Overall a good value for your money.

They just took a machine away for the second time during a "week" rental to ensure there other customers were happy. I payed for a service that was NOT supplied. Do not rent from these clowns,. Propper Training goes a long way!
