Excellent service all around! Skis stay on the mountain if you rent, so you don't even have to worry about the size of your rental car. They remembered my 4yo child every day for his lessons and greeted him by name with a smile each out the four days we came. Rental process was easy and smooth and the equipment was well-maintained. For the lessons, Steve was amazing with my 4yo, taking from tears and apprehension to going up the magic carpet and dismounting on his own all in the first lesson. By the end of day one, I had to rent my own skis earlier than anticipated due to my child asking, "daddy will you ski with me?" On the other days, when I had time to ski for myself too, the runs that had snow were in great condition, even for a terrible climate-change affected year. The resort manufactured snow full-tilt for the runs it could and had better snow than Killington or anywhere else nearby as a result. I can't say enough good things about Saskadena Six! Is there better skiing out there, sure, but for families and service, I've never had such a great experience as here. Support them and give them your business... they deserve it and you won't regret it.

Big kudos to Veronika, a snow sports instructor who worked with our 3 year old for his first ever snowboard experience and she was so wonderful and the entire experience was just amazing. The lesson staff knew exactly who our son was when we walked in and the lesson was easy to get to and everything was super organized. This is a perfect mountain to go to for lessons, especially for first timers! Thanks to Veronika for her amazing teaching - our son had a blast and wants to go again!

Great spot, on the Indy Pass. Family friendly with a great,, enclosed magic carpet. The base lodge was fine, tough lines on holiday weekends for food but seriously it's a ski spot so bring your own food (chili was mediocre). The face run on the front is the cool attraction and the wall of history as this was the first place ever to have a tow rope is cool. We had girl scouts selling cookies outside which made our day! It's a small mountain so check out the trail map and realize there is only 1 summit lift. It is a blast for a family and their ski school folks did wonder with my young kids.

This was a really nice, low-key mountain to visit with a beginning skier. I used to live nearby and drove past here in favor of Killington all the time, but decided to visit with an Indy Pass redemption. I'm glad we came here. There was plenty of easy terrain to keep a beginning skier busy, and there was zero hustle going on. The lodge was easy to use though a little packed with all the ski racers, but the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly. I'd like to visit again!

I got to visit Saskadena Six this weekend and got my first ever skiing lesson and really enjoyed my time here. I had the pleasure of having John as my instructor and I have to say that he was excellent! He was so patient and very helpful. We chatted the entire lesson and I got to know him a bit more personally. He was positive with helping me on my skis and I felt very safe having him guide me and give me tips. I can't say enough kind words about him, thank you so much!!

What a poor administration decision to offer zero discount on parent tickets during race days. I was looking forward to trying the mountain but given the general vibe around here I’m happy not to. Last year $25. This year $89. Sad. Every empty chair going up is an opportunity to create a positive interaction. I hope the administration reconsiders this decision in the future.

Bride & Groom had a Hawaiian theme party the day after the wedding on Friday night. 100 people participated. Fabulous use of a ski area in the summer if you want to plan a party. Woodstock Inn provided bus from the Inn the slopes for everyone. We did take our own car. Woodstock Inn catered the event and the food was fantastic. The band was spot on. I have loads of movies that I can't post for the entire weekend.

What a gem! From the parking lot you get a nice vantage of the front of the mountain. First thing I noticed is although the mountain isn't huge, the steady pitch all the way to the base area, looks to make up for it. The groomers from afar looked delectable and generously steep. The cool cat walk approach from the parking lot got me excited to hit the mountain as it drew nearer. As I got closer it was apparent they put together good, man-made snow conditions for what's been a lousy snowfall year. Not icy, with quality grooming everywhere. The main quad seemed to have the uphill capacity to keep the lines to under a minute wait, even when the parking lot was filled with cars. Can't say that about other resorts. The lodge is cute as heck and clean! Gas fire pits outside, with the wind screens, is a nice touch. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, all the amenities in a small package. 100% recommend to families and to any experienced skiers and riders looking for a relaxed day to stack up some vertical feet. Enjoy!

Great mountain for families. Particular thanks go to Simon, the magic carpet operator on the bunny slope. Very kind and helpful to the kids - coming out to help them with a steadying arm and keeping them safe and reassured.

Great family friendly ski resort - only one lift which is not an issue except on holiday weekends around mid day.

I really enjoyed the mountain and that they only open trails that are safe and skiable. When i went they had 3 trails open but they were perfectly groomed so that conditions were good during a period when there wasn’t much snow. That alone deserves respect because they care about the people who ski there. Staff was friendly, a little bit of everything on the trails. You can take a nice ride down a green or bomb the face of the mountain. Lift lines were small if anything. Nice place to go on a Sunday for a chill ski day

We had the most wonderful day with two beginner skiers and one intermediate. The staff were friendly, upbeat and helpful. The learning area was PERFECT for our beginners, especially the covered magic carpet! The food at the lodge was really tasty and certainly expensive but not as high as many mountains. They had several vegan options! Mary and John Duane were especially helpful and generous. We can't thank you enough for a great day. We will be back with big groups!

My new favorite little hill. Excellent pitch for experts and enough variety for the whole family. I'd compare it to skiing the upper mtn at a larger resort, but zero lines and friendlier people.

The teachers are amazing. Taught both of my boys to ski in two lessons. The rental equipment staff was not very friendly. We had an issue with my son’s bindings as it was our first time skiing and the person in charge treated us like we were morons. I explained it was our first time and we were learning everything but I saw a few eye rolls. Everyone else was super nice.

Got a ticket for $31 and was pleasantly surprised by the challenge. The slopes were fun and steep. Not long runs but you can get in a good rhythm doing laps.

Cool little mountain, good for small families or new skiers. Less crowded or intimidating than pulling up at one of the larger resorts down the road. Friendly staff as well!

Was very excited to finally ski here, and while the fresh snow was great, when we arrived and the lifts were spinning. But 10 minutes later, when we went to get our tickets, they were not, and tickets said they would open the second chairlift as they didn't know when they'd have the one to the top open again. At no point in time in the next two hours was there anyone from the ski area at either of the two chairlifts attempting to make either operational. Thankfully it snowed while all the customers waited, and we got to ski in freshies. Unfortunately the lack of lifts for a considerable amount of time wasn't fun.

I went again on 1/13/2023 and 1/16/2023. Conditions were alright considering the weather that the northeast has had so far this winter. The staff was nice. The only issue I had was that 2 of the trails had snow they made and could've used the groomers to make them skiable.

Awesome mountain. The staff are super friendly and chatty. My sister and I were on our way home and just wanted to get some runs in before we left, and this was the perfect mountain for it. The trails were fun and not crowded. The sun was out and it was just awesome.

Snowboarder: Perfect beginner place! Nice sized bunny slope, not too short. And nice easy trail too. The lift was a bit hard for me to get off of without falling.I haven't tried anything except the beginner trail, so can't say anything about harder trails. Lodge is nice. Nice staff. Nice deck with fire pits. Nice homey Vermont place!

One of the best experiences for a winter getaway. We stayed at the Woodstock Inn and enjoyed two days of skiing at Suicide 6. I couldn’t have been greeted more warmly by the husband/wife operators in the equipment rental area. Actually, everyone from the bar staff and ski school to the characters running the magic carpet lift couldn’t have been more hospitable. We genuinely felt sad after leaving because we wouldn’t see these guys the next day! Being “outsiders” from Tennessee, we appreciated the warm welcome. This is a family atmosphere with a low key vibe and no long lines for the lifts. I debated even sharing my experience as I really don’t want anyone else to know about this place. We are now making this our annual family ski destination. Thanks to everyone at Suicide 6!

Amazing year for Saskadena. Management's done a terrific job of hiring the right people with the right equipment. Snowmaking and grooming has never been better. Ski conditions this year has been as good as any ski area in the northeast.
