Since buying my home, Home improvement stores seem to be where I go on the weekends! I've been Happy with my experiences at Lowes and even found a Praying Mantis in my mums which Connor so nicely found another home for in their garden center. Very helpful.

Picked up a PC of plywood and had it cut 3 times. The lady charged me 21.95, but it was marked as 15.95. I didn't see it until I got home. Check out the prices before leaving, even if you are in a hurry.

ordered a new electric snowblower online and an obviously used one was delivered. was not in a box, and was scratched up and rusty.I was told by the store’s customer service that they become rusty because they are stored outside but even the blades and the inside of the chute on this one were rusty.

Went in to get batteries for my research. There was a great sale price and Judi was incredibly helpful in finding them. Even went as far as to pull a pallet down just for one pack! Really awesome stuff.

The staff I spoke with were knowledgeable and willing to help, the reason I didn't give them 5 stars us because of the frustration of having to hunt the employees down. Each department should have a call box or pager button to request help without having to find the staff.

I am livid right now about my delivery experience, and would not recommend anyone purchase an appliance from Lowe's South Burlington. They told me the night before that the delivery window was 3-7pm, so I re-arranged my work schedule to be there for the delivery, but at 1:18pm I started getting repeat phone calls from an unknown number. I called it back, and it was a delivery guy that barely spoke English (not holding that against him, but it does make it very hard to communicate) saying he was here with my stove now. When I told him I was still at work, he said "We come another day," and I said, no, you come today between 3 and 7. He ended the call, saying "Bye" and hanging up, and then he left the stove on the back porch in the rain. There was no bringing it to the kitchen or installation help... I now have a stove I can't move myself, so not only do I need to figure that out, but I also think I need to hire an electrician, because it's hardwired (?). The most infuriating part, is that every attempt to call customer service led to, first, me being put on hold for very long periods with no answer, and then more recently, the calls just get disconnected, repeatedly, before anyone answers. I am in the market for a new fridge, dishwasher, washer, and dryer, and I absolutely will not be buying them from Lowe's.

I have requested someone to come and measure my storm door. It’s been more than three months nobody came and every time when I called they have an excuse. They charge me even $35 it is a horrible place. Please don’t go there. Bad customer service.!!!!!!!

Went to buy some plants bought some great succulents. Found potting soil and decor pots all in the same place. Was a little hard to navigate around the garden center. Could have had better help staff.

Understaffed and many of staff aren't familiar where things are in the store. Will confidently direct you to the wrong location or will tell you they don't have items in stock that ARE. Most of the staff is helpful and kind though, except one woman who's been there for years and is always cranky to the point of being comedic. I walked by her the other day, as she was telling a senior citizen purchasing blinds that he needed to be quiet and listen to her.

I was just able to purchase blinds, curtains and curtain rods for my son’s room. Jill from the window treatment aisle was SO helpful. She had loads of knowledge and she made some great recommendations. She was really friendly and even shared some future sale information. Trina at checkout was also really helpful and friendly.

Convenient location to Burlington and So Burlington, fairly well stocked, could use a more robust headcount of Lowes Team members on shift at any given time. Last visit was only self checkout and the Pro Desk cashier. Long lines dull the otherwise decent shopping experience.

Won’t shop at Lowe’s anymore. The self-checkout cashier told us to, “go away” and told other customers to cut ahead of us in line. My wife and I are a lesbian couple and the woman employee had a serious issue with us shopping together. There was another lesbian couple in line behind us who were also denied service. How this is allowed to happen in Vermont is truly shocking.

Not the best experience ever here. Usually I go to the Lowe’s in Essex’s but I decided to switch it up and was that a mistake. I went in with a flooring sample (from a different company) to get some paint samples to compare them to as we are building a house and I would like for it to be cohesive (completely normal thing in my opinion.) I took a second to browse before leaving and as I was exiting I had an employee stop me because she suspected me for shoplifting. I was taken aback and said no I just had a few samples. Never in my life has that ever happened to me and I was extremely embarrassed because I hadn’t done anything wrong nor did I take anything. Employees cannot stop you unless they actually see you take something and she did not because I didn’t take anything.

Truly the worst customer service desk experience I’ve ever had. Bounced between two associates who seemed visibly annoyed by several simple returns for which I had receipts. Once finalized, the cashier simply walked away - no thanks, sorry for the confusion, etc. Rock bottom experience.

We generally find what we go after at Lowe's. It is a lot of in the spring to see all the flowers and fruit trees...as it is a hint of promise for warmer days ahead.

Very bad and discriminatory return policy. Their front end register employees, manager and associate Jeff and Ryan have “tunnel vision.” If you want to return an item, bought there recently, that is under warranty, un-open and still in the original container: if you lost your receipt after paying with cash, and you decline given them a phone number (to prevent data-mining and they selling your info to third party spammers), then the managers at this particular branch will not even give you an in-store credit! And that is arbitrary and really just out of a prejudiced bias power trip, as it all depends on them “approving it” under vague, inconsistent and contradictory reasons. I witness all of that and on the way they treated me and a minority friend of mine that way, all of which we also recorded via in person and phone, as they do too. It just so happens that in the actual company policy (online) and as written on their cash register’s ad, they must give you an in-store credit for this case; yet they refused that under false pretenses. All of that makes people, especially minorities, chose other stores, and cause Lowe’s to loose customers and money; as they leave that store with a bad impression. Their female registers employees, and manager and associate we spoke to that day lack empathy, were unkind and did not even provided us with any creative alternative idea or input to solve our issue.

Went to store to pay for a order for one of our installers quote was made the day before and I waited 20 minutes in kitchen area nobody to help went to service desk they can’t help go to pro center 2 people tried to find quote and no luck I guess 1 walked away and the other guy just went about his business and never gave me a response so back to service desk and asked for a manager and then the manager called service desk and helped assist the customer service desk finally find quote for me and I could pay what am I thinking I just spend $3800 with these people and I ordered a jd lawn tractor yesterday also.must find a better place to spend my money and get some dam service Beyond frustrated. just cut up my lowes credit card. 🤬😤

It's convenient but don't waste your time at this store. Head for Essex Lowe's. Poor selection of products. You can't return items purchased from other Lowe's chain stores. Some employees make it a point to be unhelpful.

Better than Home Depot. You can actually walk up and down the aisles. It's hard to find somebody to help you find something though so you best know the store pretty well. The quality of their lumber is slightly above Home Depot's, but nowhere near as good as the local lumber yard's.

Fairly incompetent. No one seems to know anything in their departments. There's no quality control.I bought a door last yr. Their install guy completely messed it up by inserting holes on the wrong side. We waited so long for the door just kept it.Can't process any transaction correctly- better off just using self check out.Had an issue recently spent 40min on the phone until "Ryan" said he couldn't help nor did he suggest he could otherwise.I wish I lived closer to Home Depot. It's worth the travel time to go to Williston than come here. It's also better stocked

Don’t bother asking for help. The people working there clearly don’t want to help they will ignore you then when you ask for help they act like it’s the death penalty. Worst costumer service I’ve ever seen comes from Lowes employees.

Today was my first time picking up from a lowes. The woman at the pick up counter with the dyed hair and glasses was extremely rushed, rude, and condescending. I was just trying to do my job and was treated like an annoying idiot.

One of my favorite things about this store is the fact I don’t even need to buy anything I usually just set up shop inside the store somewhere tucked away where no one will notice me and go hog wild with my selection of tools needed for the job loves lowes!
