We come here every March for maple season. It’s by far the best place we’ve been to in the area. They offer maple hot dogs, sugar on snow, maple water coffee and now homemade icecream. The owners are super friendly and always teach us something about the process! We love that they are now open all season with icecream. We will be coming back more frequently.

Super busy today. I would like to go back there again. I got maple ice cream with maple sprinkles. The sprinkles did not cost extra for me. They were open an hour later than the other place and their sugar on snow is 50 cents less than the other place as well.

Welcoming friendly small business. Take the very informative tour and be sure to try all the food items, you won’t be disappointed! A must stop when visiting or living in Vermont. A maple lovers dream!

Had a great time visiting here during maple weekend! They had an ongoing boiling demonstration as well as a number of treats for purchase. We're talking sugar on snow (with pickle and donut of course), maple boiled hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, and even a little stand with some of the best macaroons we'd ever had! It was pretty packed, but there's extra seating upstairs and plenty of standing space.

This is such a wonderful Sugar House. The family is incredibly friendly and the food is great. Definitely try the maple hot dogs! They have done a great job of offering a wide range of foods, everything is amazing. They have also generously opened up there maple farm for hikes in the summer and winter. They have made a really fun place to go.

Shelburne Sugarworks has the best ice cream around. I absolutely love their Maple Pecan (I've always been a fan of the regular butter pecan ice cream from the store but this is a million times better). Their blueberry cheesecake ice cream is also one of my favorites of all time. In the Spring they have a really fun sugar on snow experience, we always make sure to bring our visitors for a stop there, many are not native Vermonters and therefore have never had sugar on snow before! I love how they also give you a cider donut and a pickle on the side! It sounds quirky but you NEED the saltiness of the pickle to balance you out while you're eating super sweet sugar on snow :)

As a local, I've watched this place change and grow over the years. I stopped in for some maple ice cream and was not disappointed. The owner has done a great job of making a great venue to learn about sugaring. And the ice cream was delicious!

Such a cute little place!!!! The donuts are delicious, the ice cream is amazing and of course the maple syrup is delicious! They have such a nice outdoor seating area , and they even have cornhole and checkers to play while you eat your ice cream or treats !!! 😋

Quick friendly service. Line appropriately set up for social distancing. It smelled delicious just standing there. Drinks served in reusable cups. Everything is homemade. They have a maple syrup pump if you want to add more maple to your ice cream. Good for families, there are little trails on the property.

My dad and I visited Shelburne Sugarworks this afternoon and wow!! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with opened arms. Got a full tour and explanation how their factory works. We also tried the maple hot dog, one of the best ones in the world!! Recommend this for everyone that wants an real Vermont experience.

We toured Vermont for our wedding anniversary and wanted to make sure we hit a sugar shack. My wife is a west coast city slicker and I am an east coast suburbanite. We happened upon this location on accident; it was not really open. Even still, my wife got a tour of the facility and a very in-depth understanding of how maple products are made. We both learned a lot from the very welcoming crew. As the crew was transitioning from production season to retail season, they were very welcoming and accommodating. We left with tons of product to try and some for gifts, as well as, some brewery recommendations that were spot on. This was the highlight of our trip and I am grateful for their time and the experience we had because of their friendliness.

We spent a lovely afternoon with Matt learning all about the process of tapping a tree to making maple syrup. We got to see the evaporator in action and were able to ask plenty of questions. They were fantastic hosts! Stanley, the chocolate lab, was great company as well! So far they have had the best maple syrup I’ve tasted! Highly recommend buying all the maple syrup you can carry!

Best maple sugarhouse in the area, by far.The maple ice cream they make is amazing. During the sugaring season they offer free educational tours and explanations of the production process.They have maple donuts, maple hotdogs, maple cotton candy, maple syrup, maple sugar, maple cream.Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable, and they actually are a functioning maple sugarhouse that makes maple syrup on a regular basis (and doesn't just offer "boiling démonstrations" for show - this place is the real deal)

The Maple 🍁 dogs are amazing, so was the maple 🍁 lemonade and ice cream! The owner, Steve, came up and conversed with us told us the history of the place and introduced us to his twins . Very friendly and peaceful atmosphere, I can’t wait to get another Maple Dog in the future !

Absolute best place in Shelburne for localy made Maple products. All of the syrup is made on premises, in a handsomely rebuilt sugar house, from trees tapped in the woodlands right out back.We stopped by to pick up gifts for friends back home in Seattle and were treated to a friendly tour of the entire process and complex works it takes to turn maple sap into syrup. Really fascinating, and so delicious! Not too be missed.

I am honestly speechless, absolutely the most friendly people, huge samples of everything, and probably the best maple syrup I have ever tasted. I would honestly plan a days trip just to visit this place again.

Really nice people and yes they gave us free cotton candy! Yummy sugar on snow too (not free but cheaper than some places). This was on Maple Weekend so I'm not sure what they offer other times but I'm sure you can stop by to get some syrup.

They have an amusing "wall of shame" targeting people who don't use real maple in their products but their own maple syrup is weak compared to other Vermont sugar shacks. I particularly tried the dark and robust which I had to use twice as much of as I normally do.
