Great old fashioned hardware store with two floor of merchandise providing a great selection. The store is clean and well organized and the prices were comparable to chain stores. Friendly knowledgeable staff make shopping here a much better experience than going to the big boxes.

Only my second time to the store as a recent VT transplant. Pleasantly surprised to see it was bigger and better stocked than my previous local store. Friendly and helpful staff and the location is almost as good as my previous local store. Many future visits will be made.

These are nice folks but they failed to give me two items that I had paid for online. I paid again for the items then got home and found the receipt. Had to make another trip to the store to get the original items.

Such a great store -- selection is excellent (especially for the relatively small size of store), and staff is incredibly helpful and patient. Particularly love and appreciate the extensive paint selection and support with samples!

Just stopped in for some soil and to get a duplicate key. A very enthusiastic employee named Anthony helped with everything I needed. Even helped bring the bag of soil out to the car for me. Great employee and experience.

I rented a Rug Cleaner. It worked great- decent rental fee. Just double check that the machine is clean before you take it. The staff was excellent and traded out the equipment. Easy process to rent and return.

The whole team is doing such a good job of keeping us safe during the pandemic. There's marked spots to wait outside, and people are brought in one at a time with an employee to guide them. They truly have our best interest at heart.

Visited this Aubuchon for the first time today to grab something quick for the garden. Waited by the cash register for a few minutes before I walked around to get the attention of an associate. (this is fine, no big deal).However, when she finally comes to check me out she does so while complaining on her wireless headset about unemployed people not wanting to work because of some virus. I think it's fair to say the situation is a bit more complicating than that and frankly it's not something I care to discuss at a hardware store.Your political views are your own, suit yourself. However, in a business setting though, I look for a touch of professionalism and if possible a teaspoon of empathy considering how rough this last year has been for many of us.

Great local hardware store, staff is always friendly. It's amazing the amount of inventory they actually have here given the size of the location. No need to drive all the way to Home Depot for most things!

In a world full of impersonal, awful, gigantic chain stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's it is so much nicer to shop at my local Aubuchon's. In spite of their smaller size, they always seem to have exactly what I need to get my project done. The staff always personally walks me over to the section of the store that I need and is always eager to listen and provide advice should I ask. Yes, sometimes, I do know that I am spending a few extra pennies than I might possibly at a box store, but I also come away knowing that my business is truly appreciated and I also haven't exhausted myself walking acres and acres across useless inventory trying to find the right parts and also not being able to fully trust the advice of employees who seem overwhelmed and hate their jobs. The extra few pennies, not to mention the time savings, and interactions with engaging employees makes it all worth it. I am grateful for Aubuchon's and the few other places like it that still exist in my state.
