Nice deli / food area has station and C-Store, plus it's close to I-89One knock, I'm not a huge fan of making people check themselves out while employees stand there and watch, but otherwise, this is a gem of a store

I always enjoy the sharon trading post they have self checkout so you can speed right through enough pumps getting gas isn't a wait and their kitchen produces some pretty good burgers and pizza

Maybe don't accuse cancer survivors and their dads of substance abuse and loitering when all they did was run back in to grab ketchup. Shame on you all. Especially the disrespectful manager who flung all these accusations around at these people. She either needs to be retrained or fired. Period.

The remodel has made this place bright, beautiful, and accessible. The kitchen cranks out delicious breakfast sandwiches and pizza and burgers

The new owners/management is terrible, I've been going to this store my whole life with no problems. Someone recently bought the store and did a great job on fixing it up it really looks good on the inside and out but this new female manager gave me a no trespassing order for no reason what do ever. So no liking the place now

Lots of things here for the traveler, resident or vacationer. Conveniently located off Exit 2 on Interstate 89. Large, well stocked convenience store with good selection of beer and wine, plus a deli counter and hard liquor section. It’s was quite busy while we were there, all the gas pumps were full likely from people gassing up and running into store without moving (but that’s not the store’s fault). Only two bathrooms so you may have to wait in line on busy times of day.

Just needed gas in rural VT and stumbled on this market and gas station. It has everything you need and extras. Large clean bathroom, plenty of gas pumps and a great selection of snacks, drinks, beer, liquor, prepared foods and has some personality.

Nice little shop right by the highway ramp. We stopped for firewood, and they seemed a little confused. Turns out it’s $8.99 a bundle, kinda steep in my book.

This is probably the best roadside stop to get gas I've ever made. They had a huge selection of food hot and ready to go. I got a coffee, some food and some washer fluid. The girl who cashed me out was really patient and polite even though the store was extremely busy. The people behind the food counter courteous and fast getting my food.

Like many Sharon townspeople I was a little concerned and skeptical when the Trading Post was bought and converted to a Maplefields as I was worried they’d remove the groceries and staples from their product line and thus the townspeople would have to travel to SoRo or Strafford for basic groceries. However, Maplefields dramatically EXPANDED grocery offerings upon completing a BEAUTIFUL renovation of the historic store. And prices have stayed low! For example, a gallon of Booth Bros milk is only $3.99, compared to over $4.50 at Hannaford in Lebanon. I HIGHLY recommend the new Maplefields-Trading Post.

Great place to stop for food, gas, or a break from driving.

This place is a gem!!! Time and time again we find ourselves hovering take out or getting something to grill last minute without ever having to leave the valley here! Such a save. Good quality foods too!

Expensive. The only gas station in an otherwise very small town. High turnover rate for employees. Some groceries sold here. They do not carry Arizona sweet tea or microwaveable popcorn.

Deli food was amazing. Lots of grocery items for a small town store. Local baked goods looked delicious. Staff were not friendly at all. We just needed to get some food before the hotel and my son, who is on the spectrum, was having a tough time after traveling for 12 hours that day. It was obvious the staff (older man, 30ish woman) had no patience or kindness for the situation. It made me feel really uncomfortable.

I’m not the kind of person to review a gas station but wow, this really made our drive better. We stopped here on a drive from Montreal to Boston. They have very clean bathroom, good food selection, and self checkout. You probably don’t need to leave your house especially with the purpose of visiting this gas station, but I do recommend taking it into consideration when planning your trip. It’s also right next to the exit so pretty good.

Wow! Hadn't been there in awhile but sure was surprised at the redo! Really nice open room concept with an awesome deli, booths to eat at by the windows, good selection of hard alcohol in one corner, 3-4 registers. Very cool now - not the old dark cramped store. Check it out!

The people that work here are super nice and helpful. The store looks great but I could be in Massachusetts or New Hampshire. There is no longer a feel of Vermont that used to be felt in this store. There is a well run deli that keeps the meat eaters very happy. I would like to see some other healthier choices too. Some quick on the go food choices like three bean salad or stuffed grape leaves or spicy Thai noodles. The cold drinks are run of the mill and can be found anywhere. I would like to see some more of locally canned cherry ciders and root beers. This store sits right off the highway for the travelers but also serves a large rural community. It would be wonderful to have more items for the locals. Check out The Teago Store in Pomfret and The Barnard General Store in Barnard to enjoy a few country stores that are well worth the trip. Hopefully the Sharon Trading Post owners will let some of the generic corporate feel items go and take the time to make the store more special and more like Vermont.

Nice little place. If you want a quick bite they have options and all are pretty tasty, chicken fingers/french fries, tasty sandwiches, salads and pastries.Be prepared to spend a little extra, it is near colleges and private schools 🏫 but worth it.

Need to work on cleanliness of overall coffee bar. Staff always seems more people in there than needed.NOT my first choice of warm hot breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I keep telling myself it is cause they remodeled so it is an unseasoned kitchen.Warm chicken, mott's sticks, and pizza are descent.Chicken is the best, Ben and Jerry Pints is pretty good. They have a better convince fuel up than Hanover or Norwich.

Very clean and nicely laid out. However, it is a CONVENIENCE store, not an old-fashioned COUNTRY store. Several fast food options and some groceries. No cutesy candles, soaps, or decor.

Fully remodeled inside the store. 1000% better. Not that the old store was bad just the face-lift was needed for sure.

Love this general store! Really good little deli with a very decent selection of steaks and meats, AMAZING donuts, other fresh baked goods, and my favorite Green Mountain coffee. They additionally have a solid selection of basic convenience food items plus fresh produce, beers, wines, and liquor. And I always love browsing their unique gift items and have found some real treasures! Open til 9 daily and 8 on Sundays. And fuel available 24 hours. Very nice and helpful staff, too! Very glad to have this place right in my new neighborhood!
