this pharmacy is HORRIBLE. my husband and i scheduled appointments for a TDAP vaccine because we have a newborn. we found a sitter and came in. they only had ONE vaccine available and wasted our time because the RUDE women would not let me get my insurance information she insisted i needed the card. I have never been treated so poorly by a pharmacy.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! The terrible reviews are ALL accurate! Walgreens in West Rutland is 100% better. At least you are treated with respect!!!!

Drive-thru can be very slow and I don't understand why they put small pills in very large bottles. It's a major waste of resources

The staff are amazing, they are always super nice and welcoming. More specifically they are honest decent people; I was shopping this evening and forgot my purse in the bathroom, as soon as I called I was as notified that another worker found it and turned it in. Thank you so much, and Darlene you deserve a raise, people like you are hard to find these days ☺️EDIT: Darlene may be honest but she’s got a serious attitude problem, pretty unfortunate.

Pharmacy is atrocious, rude and these folks should not be in Customer service for health care. Prescriptions and pharmacy tech is health care!!!! I work retail! I know what it is like to be short staffed! What you put out is what you get back. Constantly told in person at the counter that the prescription is not ready after getting confirmation over the phone that is was ready and waiting for pickup. Then.. “oh wait I found it.” RUDE RUDE RUDE! Snappy and ridiculously short. I am kinder than kind. I don’t need to be treated like that. I am going to find out the techs name and call corporate. No one should be treated the way I was today when all I was trying to do was get a prescription. Taking my business elsewhere! CVS, and Hannaford pharmacies were so very helpful. DON’T GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY OR TRUST THEM WITH ANY IMPORTANT PRESCRIPTION!!!! Completely ruined my morning.

If I could give less than one star to this store I would. I have been going to this store for many years and was very disappointed by the service I received today. It all began with me going inside the store to pick up a photo card that I ordered earlier. Upon entering the store and waiting few minutes at the photo department I walked back to the front of the store seeking help. Stores acting manager Mike decided to assist me with the order. After looking for few seconds I was told it’s not ready and when I asked what time it will be ready tomorrow. He replied very rudely we are very short staffed and don’t know and can cancel the order. This is when I never said anything about canceling my order. When confronting manager mike about his rude behavior I was told to leave the store. I own two businesses in Rutland and this kind of customer service representative should not be leading a corporation like Walgreens. You lost a good customer today who shopped here many times a week. Good luck!!

Worst pharmacy. They could not locate a prescription I watched the doctor send over. So I waited and I had the doctor resend it. When I came in to pick it up they said they had a duplicate! I needed this medication and because I came after work on a Friday when the doctors office was closed there was nothing I could do but wait through the weekend. The next time the doctor sent the prescription at 9 am and it was received both in rutland and Brandon. Rutland didn't fill it or take any action until I came in. They let someone cut in front of the line and then after I patiently waited my turn they tried to rush me out to call the doctor! I told her that the new prescription was called in that morning she said I maxed out my refills and tried to refuse to look into further. I had to push for her to check Brandon. Then she told me I had to wait 40 minutes now because this wasn't their fault! Both times the problem was the pharmacist Patricia. She is terrible and should be let go if she can't competently do her job or work with the public.

Unbelievably rude. In the ridiculously long time I spent waiting in line, I witnessed the incompetent, dark-haired asian girl with bad hair dye, dump out a basket of medications searching dramatically for another customer’s meds, I listened to her complain about the pharmacist being on lunch break and become flustered with an elderly woman who was trying to explain she was there for a flu shot appointment. I watched her storm off to the car that pulled up at the drive-through in the middle of the elderly woman’s sentence and proceed to get huffy with them...She couldn’t find their inhaler apparently. Next up, my turn. On my prior 3 visits, I was denied my antibiotics for a cut on my hand! According to the snot behind the counter I can’t pick up my antibiotic before consulting with the pharmacist about allergies. I just came from my doctor, we spoke about this. IM NOT ALLERGIC! Seriously, why are people using this place? Hanford pharmacy is cheaper, safer and nicer.

We’ve been there many times for different things and we always seem to have a problem with the pharmacy. One lady in particular with dark brown/black hair who is usually working the drive-though is super rude and snappy. We’ve had like 3 encounters with her and it’s always the same horrible interaction. People like her shouldn’t be working in customer service.

Don’t use this place as a pharmacy. They have no idea what they are doing and the women in the drive through window is either rude or just really dumb. They will not go out of their way to try and help you solve an issue they just hope you leave and figure it out yourself when 9 times out of 10 the issue is on their side. I switched to hannaford in Rutland and it’s crazy to me that a grocery store pharmacy has a more professional staff, faster service and literally no issues ever. Go to Walgreens if you need a drink or maybe Advil, otherwise avoid.

I would rate this higher if it wasn’t for the very First Lady behind the photo counter. Kristina? She made it very clear we and the lady in front were a complete inconvenience. We apparently were interrupting her “hot lunch” . Huffing and puffing. Beyond rude! After telling her that we would find some place else to get our photos done, did she call Jen to take over for her. Thank goodness for Jen! She was an absolute sweetheart and was able to get my under 2 year olds picture done with such ease. I really hope someone will talk to Kristina. She is the last person I would hire for any kind of costumer service

I frequently have to speak with the pharmacy for work-related issues and 99% of the time I am met with completely rude individuals. Samantha in particular. I will not use this pharmacy for my personal prescriptions.

Avoid if possible. Very slow service and they weren't done with my simple prescription an hour after pickup time. Plus the prices are high in the store.

My review is not specifically aimed at an employee but at the system in place that Walgreens uses to serve its customers. I just spent over 30 minutes picking up a prescription from the drive through. There were just 2 cars in front of me. When I reached the window I spent over 10 minutes watching the employee talk on the phone. When he noted my exasperation he told me through the loudspeaker that he was sorry but "they were very busy". I commented that there was a line of cars behind me while he talked on the phone. Perhaps Walgreens should focus on serving customers actually at their store versus those who call in? There is zero excuse for customers waiting over 30 minutes at a drive thru.

Your pharmacy lacks in politeness. And a timely manner for getting a prescription. Especially when one is sick and has to wait 35 minutes. This happens everytime I have to have something filled .very poor service

Normally I never have a problem at Walgreens but the managers at this store are rude! The employees are nice and try their best to make customers happy. They are normally out of the weekly sales within a couple days and the managers make you feel bad for using coupons. Not very considerate.

The Rutland Walgreens pharmacy can't seem to get anything right. I have 90-day prescriptions and they continue to refill at 30 days and pester me with auto-reminders. I ask them to stop the auto-refills and they don't. There are a couple of gals behind the counter who could use some serious customer service training because I clearly am interfering with their work day. The last straw? They completely messed up a script sent from my provider. I am tired of correcting the mistakes they shouldn't even be making!

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My mother is sick with terminal Cancer and every time I have to pick up her meds I am received by the pharmacist with endless attitude and a laundry list of reasons why I can not have these meds, that she literally needs to stay alive. I will not be continuing to do business at this pharmacy, what a unbelievably horrible experience.

Could not process Blue Cross Blue Shield or Tricare cards. The staff tried hard however the Walgreens bureaucracy prevented a timely transaction. So we left without a Flu Shot. Really rude customers making sideline comments and trying to insert themselves into other peoples medical needs. Those idiots need to double their dosage. Thanks for trying Walgreens staff but this was a total waste of time.

This is in reference to an employee by the name of Stephanie. Previously when I’ve gone there I was met with an attitude consistently by some other employees but she was a breathe of fresh air. She was very helpful and incredibly kind. I wish more individuals working in the service world performed in a similar fashion as she did with me

Worst place to shop every one is rude and ready to fight except one or 2 ladies on cashier and mostly workers are racist also no one wearing masks and gloves and not following 6 ft distance as per CDC Guidelines .Most of workers are Racist and rude no Changes from walgreens Corporate office so bycott walgreens

They are rude with attitude, and what ever you do DO NOT BUY THE AMAZON GIFT CARDS,that's if you want to use it when you purchase it,because when you peel the cover off the code on the back all off the code letters removes with the protected strip to where you can't read it.
