My parents took our German shepherd there on Friday the 12th, 2024 who was NOT limping when we dropped him off and then when he got picked up he could barely walk because he was limping so bad. When the guy that worked there was confronted about this issue he literally said “I don’t know what happened, he didn’t fall off the table or anything”. Like okay we weren’t even thinking of that until you just said that and put the thought into my mind. They clearly either abused our animal or he did fall off the table and they’re just denying it. Obviously not looking after the animals well being. I understand not wanting to have to pay for our animals vet bill but just denying the animal is hurt sickens me. Don’t bring your animal here unless you want it coming out hurt & scared. It’s literally like dropping your kid off at daycare and picking them up with bruises on them.

Literally the BEST grooming experience. Our little guy gets matted and cranky. He won't let us brush him, but he loved getting groomed and bounces like a puppy after. And they put on cute little bandanas to each client! Love it!

As a first timer, I could not be more happy! You get exactly what you ask for! I came in asking for a more feminine, short haircut for my 1 and a half year old yorkie. They did amazing and even offered to paint her nails! Only took about an hour and a half and they were very professional! Plan to come back whenever she is due for another cut! 10/10 recommend!🙂

The absolute BEST! I’ve been bringing my Australian shepherd to Head to Tail for two years now and I only have good things to say. They are super responsive for scheduling and even let you know if they’re running ahead so you can bring your dog in earlier. They have a card on exactly how I like my dog’s (long) hair cut and they execute perfectly every time. When you drop off your dog they’ll let you know approximately how long it will take and when your dog is almost done they give you a heads up.One thing I especially like is that they really know how to handle dogs too. My dog is nervous around other dogs he doesn’t know but they handle him with confidence.Highly recommend to anyone in the area who wants to get their dog groomed! Wolfgang will be back in soon.

Love them! they are so great with dogs and always aim to do the best. Tina has always made time to fit me in and goes above and beyond. She is so wonderful with my baby girl and gives her extra love and it truly means a lot. I can't say enough good things about her. This place is so professional and really make you feel welcome. They treat all animals as if they were their own. You will not be disappointed!

My pug is always perfectly groomed. And she is happy. They know exactly all the little things pugs needs to keep them feeling and smelling fresh. I highly recommend this place. They love all the doggies that come in, because they have doggies of their own.

Just had my Bernese Mountain Dog groomed here and they did a fantastic job! We asked for a shorter cut for the summer and she looks so cute! She’s not the easiest dog to groom and doesn’t like to sit still, but they were able to make her look even and her coat is now the perfect length. And can’t beat the price! We will absolutely be back!

They were absolutely brilliant. My hound can be a real handful and no one has been able to cut his nails. But these guys did! He's so much happier now. He went in for a bath and nail trim and he was in and out in 30 mins. They were so kind and understanding when it came to my rescue hound. Thank you!

First time ever going today and I was very happy! I called july 5th to get my Bassett hounds nails trimmed but only one person was on and she said with that breed they really needed 2 as they wiggle. 🙂 Asked what time for the next day and I said 10/11 and she said ok see you then. Got there a little after 11 and they took him right in! All very pleasant and friendly! After getting there I should have planned ahead and did the whole bath thing, they are busy but was willing to fit him later in the day but didn’t work out as I don’t live close by but they were willing to accommodate me! I felt bad my puppy slobbered all over them but they didn’t seem to mind. We will def be back for a bath and the whole works!

Awesome friendly staff who are very accommodating and will fit you in if even remotely possible . I dont trust anyone with my dog but these people seemed to understAnd what my dog means to me and acted accordingly . They were gentle yet firm and got the job done amazingly fast considering my giant dog didn't want to be there and kept trying to run away . Good job fair proces friendly knowledgeable staff ! Easy 5 stars !

They are all great with our dogs, especially Tina. We know Handsome is a handful, but she always says “ oh, he was fine”. Yeah right!! LOL!! I would recommend this place to all pet owners!!

We walk in once a week for a nail trim with our problem child and we always receive the fastest and kindest service. Despite our pup being somewhat of a rowdy customer Tina and Lee always manage get the job done without an issue. They are so affectionate to all dogs and always make our lil girl feel comfortable. I couldn't recommend Head to Tail enough to do it justice. Amazing staff, great hours, and great price. We give it 2 thumbs up, Hailey gives it 2 big paws!

I was concerned that my cat would cause problems. Everyone assured me that he would be fine. He went in with Matts on his back. He came out looking awesome . I recommend that everyone call for their pet grooming. They are professional wonderful caring people.

This is a great grooming salon.I took my Maltese there this morning and he now looks amazing One of his best haircuts.The whole experience was wonderful and the groomer did exactly what I asked her to do .They called me in just over an hour and he was all done .I never like or see the point of leaving the dog for 5 hours at the groomer .I will definitely go back there .

My poor little kitty, Willow, had matted fur all under her armpits and stomach. I had brought her to the vets for a trim which cost me over 100+ dollars and they didn't even do it correctly because when it grew back it was uneven and started to matt again!She recently was diagnosed with kidney disease so there was a lot of pressure on trying to make her comfortableSuddenly I saw a grooming place on grove street! Not many places will do cats at all!However I was delighted to hear they had someone on staff that had experience and was able to do so!!!Didnt take more than 2 hours which was perfectly timed even though they had other clientsAnd guess what!!! It was only 60$!!!!Which isn't bad at all between the prices at the vets and other groomers!!!Willow is comfortable because she has more energy than I saw before. For a cat with kidney disease she has perked right upShe was handled very well too. Shes friendly but other animals stress her out and she can growl and hiss. She was totally relaxed when I arrived and when she came home. Whatever these staff are doing they're doing a fantastic jobForever a long term client in the future 💘

Head to Tail is awesome! Our German shepherd- terrier mix Tag has a unique coat, as well as anxiety... Tina handled both beautifully. They even gave our pup a tie-dye bandana and treats for the ride home! We will definitely be returning! Super impressed!!!! Thank you, Head to Tail!

Spent $120 for my two dogs to get groomed. They received a barely noticeable haircut and the mats in their fur were never even touched. Strongly do not recommend.

I have never had the pleasure of going there. I have 2 guineas which I'm sure isnt on there list of pets lol. But as you can imagine they are very difficult to clip there nails. Everytime I call there for advice they always offer to try and clip them. I schedule an appointment. Always cancel it for one reason or another. But they are always willing to help and try!
