Super sweet stop that has everything you want in a rural country store. Places like this are why I love living in Vermont. Greeted with a smile, quaint but thorough selections, and there was a sweet little dog to greet me when I walked in. Good selection of local honey and maple syrup - they even had the robust grade - when you can't get the actual grade B anymore, this is the next best thing. Keep doing what you're doing.

Stopped in while passing through because it seemed like a cool old country store. It certainly gives you the sense of stepping back in time. The female owner working the counter was very polite.I didnt buy anything as I was in a bit of a time crunch on the schedule but appreciate the historical value of the business and building and a throw back to when things were simpler and frankly better in many ways compared to the way things happen in our modern times.Thank you keep up the great job!

Neat little throwback country store. Sort of like stepping back in time about 80 years. Worth a stop if you're passing through. This road is narrow, windy, and in a valley, so a unique location for sure.

All the charm of a country store right down to the owner or store keeper who helps us out. A small quantity of many items one would need including a gas pump. When we left a pair of gloves on the counter, the clerk, came out to the car to return.

I lived in Ripton one summer a while back. The General Store is a wonderful spot. Post office, maple syrup, and a freezer of iec out front to fill you're cooler with!

Journey back in time just by stepping inside the door. Being a “Baby Boomer”, stepping inside the door of that small Country Store tucked in the foothills of the Green Mountains of Ripton, Vermont brought instant childhood memories front and center. Walking through the “Time Portal” to my left I saw an old fashioned array of postal boxes, to my right was a counter with an kind and gentle soul stooped over with a warm smile. Next to him was an old fashioned crank operated cash register. The decor was similar to what you would see in the old TV show “The Walton’s” at Ike Godsy’s store. Do yourself a favor. Step Back in Time and see for yourself where Time has stood still.

Didn’t even go inside. Sign stating customers were required to wear a mask, although the local gentleman coming out was not. Kind of hard for those who are not able to wear a mask to do so. Won’t stop ever again, and we pass through often.
