Wanted hot hamburger which they were willing to provide even thou not on menu with gravy on the side ( so bread wouldn’t be soggy.) Very disappointed not only was it extremely expenses but the hamburger pattie did not even cover half the bread. I actually measured it. The French fries could of been fried longer very firm inside. Over $30.00 for Michigan dog, hot hamburger, and large thick chocolate shake.

Everything was OK. The poutine appeared to be made with either mozzarella or substandard curds (there was not a squeak to be had!) The shake was OK but seemed like it was made 20 minutes earlier and was the thinnest I've had in years. But the burger was decent, and the service was very good.

I was overcharged, brought it to the attention of the employees that argued with me and showed me a receipt that they claimed was mine. I did not have my phone with me but I knew what I was charged plus a tip (that wasn’t deserved). When I got back to my phone, I looked up the charge and yes, I had been correct. Idk if they showed me wrong receipt or if they were shady but I overpaid $4 plus the 20% tip I gave for counter service and then our order was also incorrect. This was the second shot my family tried to give this snack bar after our first visit where they gave our order to a different customer and then took twice as long to give us our food. Will not be giving a third shot!

The new owners did a fantastic job right out of the gate! I just bought a new house a couple miles up the street and look forward to many more visits before the end of the season... Best snack bar food around! Hands down. Keep up the good work!

Great seasonal food. They also have some of the best soft serve/creemee that you can buy. Always friendly and courteous service. You never know what you might see here. Like the cars that pulled in while I was there. Check out the pictures. Classic Fords from one owner.

We arrived ordered our food and realized we had been waiting for half hour for food so I finally went to ask what was going on and they lost our order. Was a little upset but they did a wonderful job making sure they made it right. She refunded us with a smile without anger and our food came shortly after that. The food was amazing I suggest trying the pulled pork. We also went to get ice cream after we ate our food and she didn't charge us for that either. Great customer service at this place like some of the best I have seen around this area. They let us finish without disturbing us even after they had locked there doors for the night. No matter where you are in VT this place is totally worth the travel.

In the past I have always enjoyed going to the Pine Cone, but after going there on Saturday May 8 for an early Mother's day lunch I will not waste my time going there again. My mothers class were so over cooked that they were hard as a rock , my shrimp and all of our French fries were way undercooked. The 🍦 were so soft they were falling off the cone and the sundae my mother wanted was a little fudge in the bottom of a cup. I made them make a second sundae after the put nuts on the first one when we didn't want nuts. Not to mention that the people were extremely rude.

This is a great family snack bar! Classic snack bar food and ice cream. Our Little League team stopped by after a game and just about everyone stayed for 2 hours. The place was very busy and it took a little while to get our food, but the kids had a blast playing basketball, (free) mini golf, and on the playground. They had plenty of picnic tables and everyone spent another hour hanging out talking while the kids continued to wear themselves out. The food was tasty. One of the best snack bars I have seen anywhere.

My friend gotten a babe cone wasn’t a good size and my hot fudge sundae was terrible it was a baby size sundae and not enough HOT FUDGE. WONT BE BACK BECAUSE IT WASNT A GOOD SIZE OF PORTIONS OF THE PRICE HE PAID.

Not impressed it was busy though so maybe they were just trying to keep up but my daughters baby was bigger then my medium we got a large fry that definitely was like it used to be that's for sure but people were nice.. hopefully this was just a fluke...

We're had a pleasant surprise passing through unfamiliar territory and stumble upon this gem in the middle of nowhere. We are from PA and we're delighted by the food and the price and the service. The creemee should come with a warning label. The Maple creemee is outstanding but do not order anything larger than a small unless you are ready to panic to eat the huge portion before it melts!. Hotdog delivered in a grilled New England style but was a totally delightful surprise that took me back to my childhood in Vermont. Wow!
