We used to enjoy going to the Singleton's in Quechee, and have missed it, so took a trip down to the original one which is even better with so many things to look at & shop for! We were there for about an hour, and still didn't see everything! The sandwiches were amazing, and they have liquor section too! So many meats & cheeses to choose from, I know we'll be back soon!

I had checked out their menu online so I knew what I wanted when I walked in here. But, this was another one of those few times when you walk into a place and you are bombarded with such magical scents, and the mind goes blank, then you have to step to view the entire menu!It would be well however much time it takes you to get here, check it out I think you will love it!

Went here yesterday - we drove from Maine to Vermont for these sandwiches.So my husband kept getting this company that showed these delicious looking sandwiches and yesterday he asks if I was up for a road trip. We get there, after a 4 hour drive, and they were out of pulled pork and brisket. What a disappointment. There are no public restrooms either but the lady did say I could use the employee one, very nice of her to share.My husband ordered the #3 and the #13: a sandwich and a burger. Not impressed. The burger patty had zero flavor, they didn't offer a special sauce so we just had ketchup and mayo. The sandwich had bacon but it wasn't crispy at all so when you bit into to sandwich the bacon was still attached and when you pulled on it the sandwich insides came out with the bacon. The bread was crispy that it cut the roof of my mouth, that was pleasant. I was very disappointed in the lack of flavor of both items ordered.It would be nice to put some restrooms in for customers since it seemed to be busy enough for the public to have. Small gift shop with shoes, syrups, soaps, lotions, guns, wines, liquor and candies.I can see why the locals like it but not a destination stop -but- if you are in the area, it is nice to stop in for some local alcohols.

Absolute gem of a small grocery store tucked away in scenic, historic Proctorsville. A staple of our stays in the area. Wonderful, local small business offering just the right selection of groceries. Phenomenal deli with delicious, loaded sandwiches. We got "The Biggie" and "The Smokey." Both absolutely top tier. They even have a sporting goods section with anything you may need. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff are the cherry on top. Thank you, Singleton's!

This store legit has EVERYTHING!!!! So many unique and cool items! Love the blind date with a book!!!! Their own bacon was sooooooo good!! Staff was super friendly too. If we had stayed in VT longer we for sure would have been back!!

I always stop here when skiing at Okemo or riding motorcycles in the area - fantastic grocery store and deli, and a great place to scope some locals along with all us visitors - the sandwiches are as amazing as all these reviews advise. Cannot recommend enough.

Slab bacon is the best in VT, decent selection of other meats, cheeses, foods, and drinks. The beer, wine, and liquor selection should satisfy your desires. Sandwiches are packed with meat. Just be careful if buying Canadian bacon. While it is excellent tasting, some packages aren't all lean slices.

One of my favorite stores in Vermont! Whatever you newd they most likely have it! Delicious and fresh sandwiches to die for!Great stop if you're on the road to stock up on your groceries and local gifts. The staff is super friendy too!

The box arrived Friday. Thank you. The aroma coming from the box brought back many memories of growing up in NH. and Vt. When I opened the box it hit me hard and made my mouth start watering. We will eat this on Easter. The Kielbasa was awesome also. Again thank you very much.

A very nice store, would go back but not get any sandwiches. The woman with the purple hair made our sandwiches very sloppily, the whole order was messed up, and they weren’t wrapped correctly so they were falling out of wrapping. Then after eating my sandwich I got sick.

Cool store with an awesome selection of stuff. Looks like they have some incredible meats. I went in for a breakfast sandwich, thought it was a little pricey, but after eating it I can say it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten

Kind of a nifty everything you could possible eat, drink or need kind of place. They’ve got fresh veggies, sandwiches and ammo. You get the picture. I just stopped for a fresh cup of coffee. The coffee station was empty so I asked the guy at the deli if they had any fresh coffee. He walked over to the coffee maker and pulled a have full pot off the burner, and stuck his nose in it appearing to sniff. He made some kind of face and then held it over for a female coworker who stuck her nose in the pot and appeared to sniff as well. Following nod from her, he brought the pot over to pour in a cup for me. I politely told him “never mind, I’m all set.”

Excellent place for lunch! Highly recommended their own smoked bacon blt with avocado,jalapeños,cheddar on wheat with pesto. We will most definitely return when in area again. Staff was outstanding as well. Thanks!!

A one stop shop! Singletons is our favorite store in the area and has everything you would need from meat to produce to liquor. Their sandwiches are our favorite and always a crowd pleaser. We never leave town without their pepperoni and bacon! The store has so much Vermont character and we love supporting a local family business.

Amazing sandwiches! We got the Birdman and the Biggie- both so delicious but liked the Birdman more! Grocery store also had great selection of local Vermont goods and general grocery items.

I have been shopping here for over 30 yearsAnd have loved the store and the four generations of Singleton’s so far . Not to mention the wonderful employees. You can tell its a wonderful place by the length of time some people have been working there. Incredible variety of so many things, the epitome of a General Store. Great little one stop shopping center for pretty much everything you can need… With the local grocery store still out of commission following the flooding last year, Singleton’s is your place to go. Gets very crowded.

This place has MEAT! But if you want a good vegetarian sandwich they have that as well! I was shocked that they had the number of options for people who don't want meat. It was great to see. I will definitely go back to get other sandwiches. The staff was also helpful. The art work was kinda funny.

Cool little market. Deli sandwiches were decent, good size but a bit underwhelmed. in house pickled vegetables were delicious but my biggest issue.. Cost.Prices are quite steep and was shocked my items came to what it did.

When the power went out at the home we were vacation renting in Mt Holly, we needed help! Singletons checked us out (we got Christmas gifts and foooooodddd!) and then they heard our story of a day w no heat, no coffee, we had to heat the water on the grill on the balcony under snow and rain. They took pity on us and loaned us a large pot for the wood fire. We will boil water! Have hot coffee! We were not prepared for a camping…glamping holiday ski vacation. But Singletons took care of us! The steaks!! Can’t say enough about….meats, bacon etc, and the sandwiches!
