Been going here for years because of great selection and friendly counter staff (Jim is awesome) but since roughly 11/2023 we've been made very uncomfortable by some guy who just follows, stands and glares at customers with his arms crossed like a bouncer in a dive bar, prepare for ultimate creep if you are a woman. We will no longer be shopping here but if you can deal with a psycho stare, have at.

They have a full deli. Specials daily. All the varieties of beer cold and a large walk-in cooler. Wines liquors . A lot of great specials on beer wine and liquor. Great prices. Friendly staff quick service. Plenty of parking.A nice setup. Have a happy and safe New Year 2022

We went in to get grinders for lunch and I got a buffalo chicken grinder and my wife got a turkey and cheese grinder they were great the meat was more than enough on each sandwich it was 7 in Long and it was good they have also pasta salads and other salads that are cold and sandwiches that are warm. They also have a large variety of beer Wine and Liquor. Prices are reasonable quality is good. Me and my wife recommend the place 110%.

This is by far the best place! Huge selection.They also make "sammiches" and other to-go items.You wouldn't ever think you could get some of the best shrimp cocktail at a liqour store!The staff is amazing.

Very Friendly service. Warm atmosphere. Wonderful selection of wine, liquor,and beer. As well as fresh made sandwichs, made anyway you like. They are DELICIOUS. There is a sanitizing station just inside the entrance.

Everyone who works there is very friendly and great with helping customers anyway they can and make it a point to talk to the customers! I recommend stopping in here if your ever in Pownal! The new deli has some really good sandwiches too I highly recommend trying something from the deli.

Dwyer's is a great store which has the top three checklists items all scoring an A+; selection of libations, great customer service and competitive pricing.. great selection of craft Vermont only beers and they always have great inventory of sale items as well bottles of wine ranging from $8 to $200...try it..I know you'll like it!!

Great selection of beer and spirits. Was able to find one of my favorites, which isn't readily available. While there I picked up a sandwich, made to order, which was overstuffed and very tasty.

Love their deli. Hate that they do not enforce the state mask mandate when the aisles require getting close to other customers and there's only one side of their entrance door working.

Its got everything you need if your a beer nerd this should be a destination and if your passing by definitely stop the prices alone are worth checking out. There is beer wine liquor and either awesome snacks or a deli to make sandwiches
