Terrific, small Vermont village co-op. Considerable variety of goods for a relatively small location. Staff are always courteous and work hard. A very short distance to a great scenic walking trail. And a brief trek to a wonderful, gently-used book store up the street.Can't get enough of Plainfield, Vermont and will try to move there one day.

This place is great. It seems like a hole-in-the-wall store, but it's teamed to the brim with local and good quality food and health products. For such a small store, it has wide selection of items, including local and organic meats, dairy, and even beer. It's prices are pretty good for it's location and size, and can even beat out the much bigger, but much more expensive Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier.

We have been writing checks to our gift account and we deplete it with our subsequent purchases. A big order, I phone ahead and they bring it out and I go down and pick it up. For a small order of 6 items or less I go to the window. Because of age and stuff I don’t feel comfortable going inside yet.They surprised me when they had lox.Go COOP!!!
