One of the best country stores in the country. Lots of great options for homemade sandwiches, sides, and excellent coffee and donuts. This place is more of a delicatessen that happens to sell gas than your typical gas station that sells premade sandwiches and junk out of a case. A must stop to refuel if in the area.

This is my favorite sandwich place. I highly recommend getting the Vermont BLT, oh my goodness. It’s indescribable really. Perfect in every way.

This place is awesome. A true Vermont country store and gas station. Fresh sandwiches, good deli, very nice homemade baked goods from a local bakery down the road, nice food products as well as Vermont garb to buy as gifts. Staff are friendly. If your passing through definitely reccommend you stop by.

the girl behind the counter “never“ smiles, or says hello, and should not be working when she is in constant contact with the public. She is very much like so many young people who do not know about service.To quote another reviewer: Some people are rude. Should not work there if can't deal with the publicThe store is well-stocked as almost everything you need all the price are a little more expensive, but that is understandable as it is a true convenience store The staff, especially the girl needs some counseling from her older staff members. Me and a group of friends came here to use thier bathroom, when we were finished my friend was looking at thier walking stick and with a quite harsh tone a black long haired cashier scolded him so we left. On the way out to our vehicle we got into a snowball altercation where no more than 5 snowballs were thrown OUTSIDE and she came out and yelled at us about it aswell. Very unpleasant experience. Would not recomend.

3 of us stopped in today for sandwiches from their extensive deli. The attitude displayed by the ladies behind the counter was neither appreciated nor welcomed! Out of the 4 ladies behind the counter all but one of them were rude, and the 4th one didn’t say anything to us. We spent near $60 there for lunch and don’t foresee us stopping again. If your passing by and looking for a bite to eat, look across the street to the general store where maybe people will actually appreciate your presence and money spent

Convenient Store. This place serves this small town with basic grocery items, gasoline, coffee, baked goods and very good deli sandwiches. Of course they are more expensive than a busy supermarket and of course, drawing on locals for employees, maybe they have a few that are a bit terse. Every time I go in, they are nice, the food is terrific and if I forgot an item during my main shopping trip to Rutland or West Lebanon, that's not their fault, is it?

Im a local and had my wife run in to grab a few items for dinner. When she returned the cost of what she had purchased was unbelievable. I called to ask to return two of the items. I was calm polite and to the point. When asked why I would like to return the products I told the miss that it was due to the outlandish price for the product. She asked if I had a receipt, I did then asked when it was bought. I told her today. Then she replied "we will work with you calm down." Then hung up on me. I was not anger rube or had any tone in my voice. I then called asked for the manager and was told none were there. Received the owners name and was told they would not be back for a week. I never wright reviews being in the industry but this was very rube and handled like I was an annoyance. I was a regular.

I was in Pittsfield for a day while a friend was running an Ultramarathon. Not only did I have a delicious sandwich and molasses cookie, but had a lovely conversation with one of the staff, and picked up a couple four packs of local beer to reward my friend with. If I ever find myself in the area again, I know where I'll be grabbing lunch!

This is my preferred pit-stop while driving north on VT 100. They make great sandwiches & baked goods. They also have an excellent beer selection & enough basic groceries if you need to stock up on some things.

Sandwiches are on another planet. Stopped for a bite leaving Okemo heading to Stowe. From here on out anytime I make this trip I will stop and get a sandwich. Staff was also very friendly and helpful, highly recommend this place!!

This place is NEVER open until the time they have posted. Sunday at 5:45 pm their doors are locked. The sign on the door says 6 pm, and Google says 7 pm. If you do manage to arrive when they are open, their prices are twice the going rate of the items on the shelf.
