What an absolute gem! We stayed in the Black Walnut Suite earlier this month. It was so spacious and beautiful - we chose it for the amazing soaking tub, king bed and fireplace. For tall people the soaking tub is one of the longest I've ever been in, i such a treat. The Lodge is incredibly cozy and it's like walking through a big house. There are cubbies for your ski gear when you enter, and a large kitchen you can use for 'quick' meals, and there was a roaring fire in the evenings. While we stayed people were incredibly chatty and we even watched a movie with another couple in the evening because that was just the nature of the lobby. If you're looking to not interact with other people whatsoever, maybe this won't be your vibe - but if you like to be friendly then it's really pleasant! Seesaw doesn't have an amenities page on their website and I do wish they'd update that because one of the greatest little pieces was hidden in the reviews and check-in info - the cedar hot tub!! You can book a time to go in so it's all yours and it was SO nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Seesaw Lodge, specifically in the Walnut suite. The modern bathrooms, complete with a fantastic bathtub, added a touch of luxury to our experience. The walk-in closet proved to be a convenient amenity, enhancing our overall comfort.One standout aspect was the exceptional service provided by the owner, who was not only incredibly nice but also highly responsive to our inquiries via text. This level of attentiveness made clarifying small details a breeze. The cleaning staff were equally friendly, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the lodge.For those with electric cars, it's worth noting that Seesaw Lodge is in the process of installing onsite 2-hour Level-2 chargers, a thoughtful addition for eco-conscious travelers.Additionally, the lodge's proximity to Stratton Mountain Resort, which remains open on weekdays, was a significant advantage. We are eagerly anticipating exploring this nearby attraction during our next visit. Looking forward to returning to Seesaw Lodge for another delightful experience!Nearby activities: skiing

My husband surprised me with a weekend road-trip from the city and I was literally so in love with this lodge super cute it gives you the perfect country experience. The place is very clean and super spacious , the shared areas are big and super clean. Beautiful views. I was very happy and will love to come back.Rooms: Spacious with a fire pit and balcony , big bathroom with an amazing shower.Nearby activities: Hiking , restaurants and 1 hour away from Woodstock.Walkability: You can walk around the lodge surroundings but you will need a car to go anywhere else .

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. We had a roadtrip through Vermont and were welcomed into Seesaw's Lodge like family. The property and all the rooms are gorgeous and spacious. There is a great bar and restaurant on site too, which made for great drinks, food, and conversation. They also had live music and a fire pit lit in the evening Sunday which was so fun. I would definitely visit again when in the area, or come back during the wintertime. Thank you Kim and Ryan!

My 4 year old loves the two bedroom chicken themed cabin with cozy fireplace and some games. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and we almost cooked all our meals. Very clean with breath taking views.I wish there were two bathrooms instead of one. A bit of a line when five people need to take baths.Food & drinks: The restaurant was top notch. Everything was so fresh. They said they are closed on Sunday but was open on the Sunday we were there

My girlfriend and I stayed at Seesaw's over a summer weekend. Vermont is exquisitely beautiful, and our stay at Seesaw's was the icing on the cake of our road trip through New England. Some highlights include: sampling Vermont beers and cheeses at Seesaw's restaurant; chatting with Kim and Ryan, the owners, about the lodge's history; and marveling at the stars from our room's porch. What a treat to stay at Seesaw's, a New England treasure.

Seesaw's was the perfect, cozy lodge to spend a romantic ski weekend away! We stayed in the lodge itself, where the pillows and beds were super comfortable, and having a full kitchen at our disposal was very convenient. The cedar hot tub was amazing at the end of a long day on the slopes or touring around town and the onsite restaurant was a lively hub of nighttime fun. We will definitely book Seesaw's again!

My husband Brendan and I had an amazing stay at Seesaw's Lodge. We stayed in the Walnut room which was so cozy and beautifully laid out. The fireplace and bathtub/shower made it feel like you were in a spa and was so relaxing! The housekeeper Terry was the sweetest and makes sure you have everything you need during your stay. Such a great location close to skiing, hiking, and great food. We will definitely be back!

I honestly cannot say enough great things about our experience here. We stayed in court cabin with 4 kids and 2 senior pups. Upon our arrival the whole check in process was seamless and contact free. The cabin was extraordinary, cleaner than any place I’ve ever stayed, luxurious, and close to the local restaurants which were ALL delicious. All bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms that were sparkling clean and well stocked. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and glasses. The weather wasn’t that great but we did manage to hike some of the AT/LT and visit some local places. This is the kind of place I would love to come back to again and again. The staff is friendly and the innkeeper is patient and kind. Seesaws Lodge is hospitality at its finest. Thank you so much for an incredible get-away.

Our stay at the Seesaws Lodge was Absolutely SPECIAL!!!!!! The cleanliness was Superb! The common area in the lodge was very GRAND! We were a family of over 12 adults and 10 children everyone was HAPPY. The kitchen appliances were the very best. The fridge and freezer had enough space for all our food the counter space was amazing the sitting area was great. The outdoors was SPECTACULAR!!!!! Very well Kept. The staff was special in making our vacation an ABSOLUTE Success!!!!

My husband + I just spent the most relaxing weekend at Seesaw's Lodge! The Lodge is absolutely stunning. All the rooms are gorgeously decorated with a woodsy yet modern style (perfect for photos). The kitchen + living room areas are spacious, cozy + have the dreamiest window light. The owner (Kim) is just the nicest + sweetest person ever! She gave us a little tour of the place when we got there, recommended some places to eat + things to do the next day + she even gave my husband a birthday gift (some Seesaw Lodge apparel)! We will definitely be returning some day!

Exceptional, above and beyond service, a gorgeous and perfectly maintained facility including spacious, comfy cabins, a high quality mattress and even great bath products! They were also so kind and accommodating of our lively terrier, so I highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling with an animal. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Stayed here over the long weekend in October for my partners birthday and stayed in the Cherry suite. We came up to see the fall colors and enjoy a weekend out of the city and I cannot wait to come back next year. The room was lovely, easy self-check in/out and the Innkeeper was very responsive on whatsapp to any questions that arose, the fireplace was delightful and the wood hot tub was much needed. Had dinner one night at Johnny Seesaws and the food was lovely. Service could have been a bit better, but was pleased it was so close to home, and would have certainly gone back again. It was close to Manchester for a night out and enjoyed the Alpine Slides at the neighboring Bromley Mt. Would love to come back and rent the whole lodge with my friends and see more of the area in winter.Also, huge plus was that they have EV and Tesla charging stations (although non-EV cars blocked them most nights it was still key to our pleasant stay).

Seesaw’s is quintessential and unpretentious Vermont with the added perk of modern conveniences and elegance. We stayed in “Black Oak” and loved everything about it; spacious and luxurious (huge walk in shower and soaking tub) with the added perk of a gas fireplace (easy to use with the flip of a switch).The staff was accommodating and easy going and the common area was comfy and inviting.The restaurant was cozy, delicious and tres chic (think Ralph Lauren).We kicked off the day with yoga in the barn, props included!GO. GO.GO!

My wife Nancy and I stayed here for a couple of nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The food was superb, the service excellent and the lodging perfect. Not a detail is missed, especially the fine workmanship of the lodge. We used to come here under previous management and are so happy the new owners have created a true work of Art. We shall be back!

What a beautiful job the new owners have done with this property! We stopped by the Warming Hut for cider and some pretzels and enjoyed a nice fire. Service was fabulous. Great for social distancing, and you can also get takeout from the restaurant's menu to be picked up at the Warming Hut. This will definitely be a weekly treat for us.

Awesome setting right at the bottom of Bromley slopes. Beautiful cabin VT style with totally modern comforts. The Lodge has incredible shared family room/kitchen space that is perfect for a multi-family vacation. The rooms are beautifully appointed with gas-fireplaces, cozy furniture, and hot showers! Perfect apres-ski accommodations.

We decided to do a last-minute trip up to VT for an overnight stay to view some foliage and do a bit of hiking. We came across Seesaw’s via a Google search, and I’m so glad we did! Check-in was easy (I loved the self-check-in option!). Everything was meticulously clean and fresh; the room was modern but super-cozy. Bathroom was gorgeous, with high-end fixtures and a rain-style showerhead. There are lots of thoughtful conveniences, like outlets on each side of the bed for phone chargers, great Wifi, and a smart tv, so you can watch Netflix or Prime, or sign in to your own streaming accounts (HBOgo, etc). The grounds are charming (apple trees, little pond, lovely patio); Seesaw’s is conveniently located on route 11 but the actual lodge is situated far back from the road so it’s quiet and peaceful. I wish we’d been able to stay more than one night… we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The accommodations are very clean, comfortable and well thought out. Their attention to detail is exquisite. The restaurant and bar are fun , with excellent food. The afternoon warmup hut activities are a nice bonus!

Very cozy place with amazing service. The owner really helped us out when our car was about to run out of charge. He also came out to help us with the charger that was left in the snow. We wouldn’t have made it back without him and we couldn’t thank him enough.
