Who would have thought you would find this little gem a mile from our campsite. They have a Restaurant and store with specialty meats, cheeses, coffee, wine and so much more. Highly recommended!!!

Really nice place, clean and well organized with plenty of space to maneuver through the aisles. There is also some seatingThe provisions trend to the higher end of the spectrum, think Newman's cookies instead of Nabisco. Bakery items all looked good. I had a fantastic strawberry scone. I was on my way to pickup hikers and was just scoping it out in case they needed something.

Food is pretty good and it's a great vibe. Recently renovated. Prices a bit high and service is generally very slow.

Super cool general store off the beaten path! They have a little bit of everything for the general store and then the food and drink they have to offer looks amazing! The employees were so outgoing and helpful. Totally recommend everyone check it out!

Not sure what all the hype is over this place. Not sure how they can call themselves a general store. It is more like a tourist trap to suck money from them. I (a local) stopped by to get a drink, walked in and was directed to an alcohol selection and a few limited (maybe 10?) non alcoholic drinks on a food shelf. Don’t expect your typical range of sodas, iced teas, gatorades, etc… After reluctantly choosing a drink, I ended up splurging on the overpriced strawberry scone (because there isn’t any other fast snacks to chose from). It was nothing to rave about especially since it only had two strawberries in the whole thing. After talking to several other locals, it turns out I am not the only one who feels that this place is overrated.

Charming shop. Baked goods were great - the muffin had perfect texture and the almond croissant was frankly the best I've ever had. The filling was unusual in an awesome way. Grape kombucha on tap was tasty.

Wow! Read about the Breakfast Sandwich on a top 50 list in my feed...and this place does not disappoint! By far one of the BEST I've ever had. The biscuit is so perfect with a light interior and perfect crust. The cheese, eggs, and Bacon were perfect. I highly recommend making the stop! The staff was also incredibly friendly!

Stopped in to get some pizza to go, and wished I had brought the whole family to dine in!This place has an awesome interior. The service was extremely friendly. They had a nice beer selection, and best of all: the pizza was some of the best I've ever had. My wife agreed... the specialty pizzas were among the most inventive I've seen, and the flavors were outstanding. We had a BBQ pork pizza that I could have eaten over and over again for days. We'll definitely be back!

The kitchen staff was gone for the season, and I still got the most amazing deli sandwich each time I ate there. Their cookies are delicious and huge as well! One of the best places to eat in the area. Thanks for the awesome food!

A little gem! Not only do they serve delicious food they also have a good selection of items to buy. We had a wonderful meal here on our last night of our holiday visiting from the UK. The burger and chips were mouth watering, the burger was like eating steak and the chips were lovely and crisp and not ruined by any seasoning which we could put on ourselves. Thanks for making our last night special. A really lovely quaint place to eat. Would definitely recommend the staff were very friendly and the food and service spot on.

This spot has the absolute best maple syrup lattes and breakfast sandwiches. We were in Peru for a weekend and every morning visited the store for our coffee and sandwich fix. Their scones are pretty good and the kombucha was refreshing, but definitely stop by for some coffee and egg sandwiches before you go - you won’t regret it.

A cheerful place very close to the Hapgood National forest where we camped for the weekend. The food was nice and there was quite some variety. We ordered the pizza which is 12" serves 2 at least and thin crust. The hazelnut latte was gut although a little sweet but the regular cappuccino was good. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and we also played corn hole and jenga outside after lunch. All in all it is a really nice place to visit.

Pizza was fantastic!! Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. The carrot cake was amazing and well worth it. Plus a great beer selection for in or to go. Overall a perfect stopping off point. Will definitely come again.

Excellent food and a warm, comfortable vibe. The fried chicken sandwich (get it with the bacon) was superb—could eat it every day—as was the coffee. The veggie burger had a curry thing going on that wasn’t my thing (not bad, just a preference) and the $6 plate of fries was half the amount it should have been, but they still tasted great. Will be back often.

Such a disappointment. Made a special trip to visit this store while on vacation in Vermont this past October. I’m a huge Baby Boom fan and waited YEARS to see the store in person. We arrived around 1 pm on a weekday afternoon and they had already run out of EVERYTHING for lunch except soup. I had read online that I could get a gluten free sandwich or pizza but was told by the person behind the counter that they couldn’t make anything because of Covid. No idea what that meant and a bummer of an experience. Won’t be back on our trip next year. :-(

Restaurant selections were so much more creatively and deliciously prepared than the BLT/grilled cheese we half expected. For a small place, the meals, pricing, service, location, and overall experience were well worth a short detour off VT-11. We look forward to returning to this charming restaurant & shop.

I love this place! The food and drink and hospitality are excellent. I had to do some remote work throughout the day with a couple friends, and they were very generous to let us camp out in a corner with our laptops from breakfast till close. I come up to Peru once or twice a year and this is always a highlight.

This was everything you would imagine a little Vermont general store to be but also had the added bonus of being a fantastic restaurant. We ate here twice while staying in Green mountain while camping and it was wonderful. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and the cocktails and beer were awesome. Thank you for the treat!

The chive buttermilk biscuit egg sandwich might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Tried on a friend's recommendation while driving through the area. Went back a week later for another round. Unbeatable breakfast sandwich and a great selection of coffees and teas.

Great place for anything that comes to your mind. My wife and I had the most delicious sandwich that we ever had. The prices are reasonably cheap for Vermont. I highly recommend you stop and see for yourself. And if it's a sunny day you can eat outside on the patio.

Always love the daytime visit, 5 stars anytime for their country sandwiches. The 27 dollars duck breast was hardly satisfying and even the burger was not as good as other time I had it. The fine dining requires a different chef and vision. When there is entree charging over 25 dollars, wine selection needs an upgrade.

Funky little General store, though there was a bit more selection of beer/wine and food items. Worth a stop. Love the marble walkway.

They have a hodgepodge of items. Food at first sight was decent. The staff was nice but in a condescending way. Our cashier/ barista hipster wanted to showcase his intelligence rather then communicate simple information like can his product be microwaved. They have no public restroom even though they are serving prepared food. They used the excuse that no one was available to clean it after each use. I really wanted to wash my hands with COVID before I ate my hot meal but I was denied. This is completely inappropriate.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch. My wife loves Baby Boom movie and wanted to see the store from the movie. So cute. Glass jar Penny candies and old fashioned cider donuts. Had yummy sandwiches. Got maple syrup and a t shirt. Worth the stop. Will they sell country baby apple sauce?

Delish fried chicken sandwich. Buffalo wings were pretty tasty also. We've tried it twice and enjoyed both occasions, one of which was my wife's request to have it for a COVID-19 birthday lunch.

Hands down the best General Store in the United States. If you're looking for the old time feel with stuff as far as the eye can see, this might not be the place. BUT if you're looking for a general store of the 21st century, this is the place. The food is made from scratch and it's all mouth watering. The breakfast sandwiches are outstanding as well as their homemade donuts. They are a MUST.The owners love what they do and it shows, from the look and feel of the store to the flavors in the food.

Service was a bit slow for not being crowded at all. Plus they asked if I had a reservation in a completely empty dining room and bar area. The waitstaff should learn how to say Foie gras, especially since it's on the menu!Overall the food was good.
