Stopped for Wagu Wednesday burger and was pleasantly surprised. Done to order, juicy and extremely tasty. Good to the last bite! Came with side order of fries and a nice dipping sauce..Purchased a BBQ brisket sandwich and crab cakes to go. Have had both in the past and still fantastic. Highly recommend fresh pies done on Fridays and sourdough bread on Saturdays.

Truly a hidden gem in a beautifully quaint location! The market had a great selection of specialty grocery items, homemade spices, Vermont cheeses, candies, and more. We heard great things from family local to the area about the pizza but opted to try food from the deli section for a quick & tasty lunch. We ordered the vegetarian lasagna, meatball sub, felafel sandwich, and the chili, each of which were delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area!

My husband stumbled upon finding this hidden treasures. We stopped in and grab a bunch of different dips, cheeses, hot food, soup and desserts. The staff is wonderful and provided excellent service. Stop in on Saturday for their Sour Dough Bread it’s so delicious!

Great market! The pizza alone is well worth the 20 minute drive. Being from NJ, I have a high standard for pizza and Mach’s hits the mark! Mach’s has a great deli and beer selection as well!

If you've been to this area of Vermont and have not been to Mach's Market, you're just missing out. Plan to hit Wagyu Wednesday for their amazing 100% Wagyu weekly burger special. I can normally make two meals out of one order there, and everything is so good!

I didn’t have bad experience but the cashier was rude to elderly patrons when I was there. I can’t remember her name but she was not just having it.The food is good but very expensive considering the location. It has a beautiful view there’s a little water fall the sound is lovely on a nice day sitting outside. After ordering food it can take 15 minutes to be ready. the place is pretty small no where to stand while waiting for your food you end up being on other people’s way.

A true gem!! I loved stumbling across this store, rich with history and extremely tasty food inside.I ordered the BLT with avocado which was extremely delicious and enjoyed on the bench outside. There is a plentiful selection of freshly prepared foods, fresh bread, chilled items, a good drinks selection and groceries, which you could easily get carried away with buying. They also offering a catering menu.I was also lucky enough to be offered a quick tour to the back to see the special window over the gorge. It really is a stunning setting and definitely worth the stop on any itinerary.

This is my first visiting this and will not be my last time. The general store inside has a MASSIVE variety of stuff and things ( food, beer, cheese, cheese, and pizza). I’m here to talk about the pizza! I’m coming from Jersey, New York, and Connecticut style pizza and Vermont is DEFINITELY not known for its pizza. However, the pizza served here is a solid 9/10. This is the best slice of pizza I have had in Vermont and I have been here for college and life for 30 years. So the next time you’re hitting the streets stop here get a pie and sit by the river and take in life!It's 2023 and this is still the best place in Vermont for pizza.

Just a tourist trap. Overpriced, mediocre and unfriendly. There’s not a single place to sit despite the fact that they sell hot food… go ahead and enjoy your burger or tacos standing outside in the cold. I had the roast beef sandwich which was listed amongst hot sandwiches although it was cold… and gross. The second star is for the decent beer selection in the cooler. You’ll have to wait until you’re home though.

This place is busy, and for a good reason. The food, cheese and wine were excellent. Nice variety of other foods. Pastries were right on. A must for a taste of Vermont with Vermont made gifts for the people back home.

Absolutely fabulous! The owner, Jib Mach (pronounced Mack) sold his beach house on lake bomoseen so that he could reopen and expand this gorgeous old-time country store in southwestern Vermont into a full-service sit-down restaurant, high-end deli, country market, with plans for expansion of a smokehouse and a full-service butcher. When you shop here, you are supporting over 10 local farmers and their families. Food here is locally sourced, organic and farm to table. gourmet foods expertly prepared using the finest locally sourced ingredients, And absolutely delicious. Amazing organic baked goods prepared fresh daily. There is a full service deli, pizza, baked goods, a full selection of snacks, an old-time country store candy aisle, fully stocked beverages, a large selection of wine, and a walk-in beer cave! This place is a must-see for out-of-town visitors and you can actually make it a destination It is so nice.

Really nice store. They have everything from baked goods to liquor to fresh pizza. It's a great place to stop if you are looking for a gift shop. We got Maple syrup and some baked goods (rhubarb treats were amazing)! They are also open pretty late so we enjoyed being able to still check this place out after a long day in Manchester. Definitely stop by and support this local business.

Ordered some pizzas to go the other day - the Heart stopper, the Fun Guy and a simple Pepperoni pizza for my son. Each was really good. I especially enjoyed the chewy crust. My son also had some chicken strips and hand cut fries for lunch - the fries were awesome! The store itself is really cool and offers tons of local (and true to Vermont) products. They have a pretty stellar Beer Cave as well.

Awesome!!! Great baked goods! Great cheese selection! Great beer selection, in a 34°F cooler! Let me tell you about the sandwiches and I have eaten a lot of sandwiches, a lot of good sandwiches. We, my wife and I, ordered a Reuben and a Cubano, BEST of both I have EVER had!!! We live just under 3 hours away and I would drive that to get the sandwiches. If you are anyways near Mach’s Market and don’t stop, you’re crazy.

Awesome sandwiches and other prepared foods. Haven't tried the pizza yet but will soon. Really cool selection of items. Great overall store.Update 2024: I love everything about this store. The food is absolutely amazing. The selection for how small the store is is enormous. Great beer cave, local products and produce. Wonderful staff and locally owned. A real cornerstone of the community. If you are traveling through, don't miss this gem.

This is a magical place and Vermont is lucky to have it! Delicious prepared foods, baked goods, and sandwiches. Great selection of wines, cheese, and dry goods (better than I find in most CT shops). The owners are amazing — they are smart business owners and also great to talk to!

Been meaning to visit Mach’s for a long time but we rarely get over that way. We took a ride over from Londonderry for lunch today - our sandwiches were excellent. The gentleman with glasses behind the deli case was lovely & welcoming, and the store is beautiful and well-stocked. The older lady at the register has no business being in the hospitality business. When she realized how surprisingly rude she was being, she offered me a free cookie. No, thanks. I would have much rather had a friendly interaction. We won’t be back.

We shopped in the store while staying in Pawlet. The decor is beautiful and the food variety is great! We ordered quite a few items from the deli for the New Year dinner and everything was delicious. The baguette was divine too. Didn’t get to try the pizza May be next time.

Since I'm only in the area when I visit family I don't have alot of time to try food spots out this way. So a place has to be really good hot have a great menu for me to go back next time I'm in the area over trying a new spot. Second time there, I have had the burger, haystack and brisket so far all three were excellent. You can really taste the quality of the beef coming through in every one. Had the popper challenge first time there as well. It was hot but not the hottest I've ever eaten. Great flavor even with the heat. Great little spot great people and great food. Highly recommend to everyone.

It is so nice to have a market right in town where you can get fresh made meals, local produce, and necessities; we waited a long time for the reopen, but it was worth it! Can't wait to see what else they do.

It is extremely unfriendly place especially if you have a dog and accent. I have to admit that Vermont is not your top 10 friendly state and business owners still need to learn how to be customer centric. My experiences at Mach's are extremely uneven. The front store is organized as an upscaled Italian deli/market with good cheese, wine and chocolate; but, when you look towards the large room behind the deli you will see the food is open and people walk in and out. The food is not packaged, either before going into oven or after oven. Customers walk in to look down the window to see the brook. I don't even know how they pass Vermont food hygiene regulations.Moreover if you own a dog you are not welcomed as the older gentleman told me " it is his private property and I should never walk my dog around the property. It didn't say that I have to leave the dog in the car or private property anywhere around the parking lot. He told me that his dog would be so upset to know my dog is there. I didn't get into the details and rushed back into the car; but, my dog completed 200 hr service dog training and he was wearing his vest. Did stay away from this place if you own a dog and have a sensitive stomach.

This place is just awesome. Great selection of Vermont local cheeses and maple items. Delicious bakery items. Out of this world kitchen with burgers and sandwiches. Going to have to try the pizza sometime! Can't wait to go back!

Great market in Pawlet, it's much needed in this area and is a perfect place for picking up some Vermont goodies. They have a great local beer selection, maple syrup, and more. The woman working the cash register was also very nice. Will stop by again while visiting family!
