I recently moved to Sudbury and was immediately told about the market. This guy knows his stuff. Two things that stood out to me were the roast beef it was incredible he cooks his own! and his ribs and barbecue sauce are top notch. The staff is great and you get a feeling of “belonging” as soon as you step in the store. A must stop while visiting Crystal Beach or setting out for a summer day. Keep up the good work!

Nice little local grocery / Deli stop by the road with the nicest staff. Includes a Deli, little shop with....well, groceries, fishing grear, shirts or books.We stopped for a quick bite, and boy, was it a good decision. I am not a fan of food chains, and this is as local as it gets. The lady was very nice and helped with selection. It was a delicious sandwich - gently toasted just my thing.Restroom outside in a porter potty. I would deduct a star for this, but the place is too nice to do that.

This little family market is country Americana, worth the trip to have some great sandwiches and pick up needed groceries, the staff are friendly and obliging.

Visit area weekly and usually bring my support animal. Brought my leashed and well behaved dog into the store and I was interrogated about my Medical paperwork and it's existence. After I asked him if he was needing it,, he then proceeded to make a huge deal and totally embarrassing my partner and I.My dog was leashed and given the atmosphere in the store was very well behaved. The man was acting anxious and he was intimidating all of us and I'm sure the dog picked up on his behavior. Buttons you should be ashamed of yourselves. I will take you up on your offer to report this. Thanks for the tip.I will never take this down no matter how much pressure or uncomfortable you make me. Its not false and you should be ashamed of yourself. I know i wouldnt want my dog to be mistreated and clearly your not happy with letting service animals into you store. Maybe seek counseling? Just a idea! Who is scared of a Weimaraner, lol

I stopped here last week on the way to Mount Independence. I didn’t know if they had a deli until I walked in but I was happy they did. I ordered an Italian. The sandwich was quite good. I’ll probably stop here again for lunch if I go back to Mount Independence. I would recommend giving the place a try if you are in the area. Service was friendly and they seemed to have a sizable number of regular customers.

Great sandwiches with house smoked meats and allegedly great gluten free bread (per some other customers today) under the same roof as a classic general store with everything from denture paste to fishhooks. 10/10 would stop again

The amazing smell of this little store can be easily noticed from the parking lot. The sandwiches are amazing, and they seem to always have what we need. After swimming, this is the perfect on the way home stop for sandwiches, drinks, or anything else you may need.

What first brought me here was word of mouth regarding some amazing food to go. They have great sandwiches made to order and a kitchen offering pizza, wings and burgers. Too top it off they're now an 802 spirits retail location. Favorite little store around!

I have been coming to Buxton’s every summer for over 12 yrs. Every time I’m welcomed with a kind hello, a smile, and warm hospitality. The owner, Andy, has been extremely kind and accommodating at every turn. The staff is always helpful and gracious. I have never felt more at home than I do when I’m at Buxton’s; you truly are made to feel like family. The high light of my summer has always been the great sandwiches, the quality cuts of meat, the myriad beer choices, and now the convenience of liquor. I’m not quite sure how you could ever leave the store without a smile on your face and a yearning to come back and see friends and family.Thank you Buxton’s for making my summer away from home truly feel like HOME.

I went here with a friend for a new job I was deciding on taking or not. he treated me to lunch and I ended up getting a buffalo wrap, not one for spicy food but man that was amazing so glad I tried it. had some heat but overall I'd get it again. but it's your typical local store. makes you feel at home and comfortable. worth a stop.

Owners and staff wonderful; great variety for a small grocery /deli; their website says they are working on carrying local products but found little of that and some produce not fresh/good; would give 5 stars if they supported local humane/sustainable farms

Very nice and friendly staff...they even go the extra mile today they help me load the water and soda in my car. This was done without me prompting he just asked is that your red car let me take this out for you. In todays environment its refreshing to have a local business that truly show they care about all of the customers..

Buxton’s makes the perfect roast beef sandwich, best I’ve had in 25 years. Thin-sliced, roasted last night, with just enough horseradish mayo and VT cheddar.
