Very quaint, old-time general store in Northern Vermont (on Lake Champlain). Gifts, clothes, cookware, books, local jams and baked goods and more. They also have a deli counter. Super friendly and courteous people there! My wife and I went there in the off-season for the 2024 total eclipse, but there were 2 other (closed) buildings that housed kayaks and other in-season items.We would have given 5 stars if they had fewer items from China and more local (or American-made) products for sale there! Otherwise, well worth stopping by!

In addition to a deli and fresh baked goods, there is a wonderfully curated selection of gift items, local souvenirs, current and classic books, toys and games. Sitting outside next to the water in warm weather eating a freshly made sandwich or soup is always a treat.

i stopped here to get gas. (no signs fun the road advertising the price but it was the cheapest on the island -- cheaper than Burlington in fact).These are older pumps so you have to pay inside. i thought the store was small but the inside is deep and it's filled with s I supplies, souvenirs, kitchen goods, toys, wine, beer and a deli. The food looks incredible.I'll be back.

Best sandwich ever! This super general store serve fresh coffee, sandwich, pastry and more. On the other side of the road, they put a nice space for eating and watching the beautiful view of the lake. It's a most see if you go to North Hero

A lovely old-time Vermont Country Store complete with just about everything you need, or think you might need. On the other hand, if they don't have it you probably don't need it. Inside where many of the food stuff available, including prepared sandwiches, wine, a candy bar, and easy groceries. Also plenty of household Wares and clothing. In additional buildings you could purchase items like a kayaks and canoes. Everyone was very helpful, and the friendly folks working seemed to be well staffed. Neat benches outfront allow you to sit and rest while supporting your political party of choice!

Amazing store. Was super surprised how big it was when I walked in. Amazing selection of everything you could need. Deli sandwiches where awesome. We made this our lunch stop during a 200mi motorcycle ride through the foliage and we where super happy we did. Check this place out!

My wife had a vegan sandwich I had a turkey with cranberry, we both loved them. The store was awesome, we had no intention on shopping but we spent over hundred dollars on early Christmas shopping. Very unique things. Bought pillows with lake Champlain charts fabric. Mixing spoons that were drumsticks for my musical niece. Then we sat by the lake for awhile. Great day!

Lovely little spot to stop! General store with food, made-to-order sandwiches, any drink you could want cold from the fridges, and they have a nice little general store with kitchen goods and things in the back. Grab a sandwich and sit across by the water to eat it, there is a little picnic area with tables and chairs.

Decent sandwiches but nothing to write home about. The staff were all friendly, but the place was way too busy to be worth it. If we had avoided hoards of tourists and boaters from the city who 'live' on the island it might have been a more enjoyable stop.

Great place to explore gift items while waiting for your specialty deli sandwich to be made with caring hands! Also a little picnic area across the road right on the water is a great place to soak up the sun!

Stopped by for lunch while riding the islands, well worth a visit. Neat store with a huge selection of items and the sandwiches are fantastic. Excellent coffee available as well. Highly recommend and will stop again if I'm ever in the area again.

Great views from the store. There's a place inside to order hot and fresh food too. I ordered a ham and cheese grilled sandwich and it was good.

This place is great. I go there all the time on my way through the islands. You can sit outside in the summer and in the winter the breakfasts are amazing! Full candy bar for kids too! Super cool gifts and wicked nice people working there.

Really nice store with a variety of items from food to jewelry and wine.I picked up an iced coffee, maple fudge and a Vermont necklace by a local artist for my fiance. It was a super clean, relaxing store with really great customer service.Worth a drop in if you're ever in the area.

What a great place for all. Really good made to order sandwiches, and home made pastries. Terrific sections for nick knacks and automobile items. There is even a great selection of books at the back of the store. For the weary traveller's looking for a break and a good meal, you couldn't do better than this spot!

I had a 8.99 BLT and a 1.00 more for extra bacon . The size of it was like a cheap frozen Burrito. Good thing I ask for extra bacon because there was hardly any in it !!! Everything in it would of made a good half sandwich…. Will not stop there again. The staff and store was very nice but if hungry don’t stop….better to go to the Grandisle store for a real sandwich…
