Open from St Patrick's Day to mid-October. Always scooping up phenomenal ice creams including vegan ice cream! Great toppings served with genuine friendly smiles. Portions are generous, flavor is amazing. Great selection to choose from a flavors both cremee and heart ice cream. There's a reason there are always people queued up with the line moves fast and there's usually only a couple people in front of you. Everybody has a smile on their face and a good sense of humor as they wait because they've been there before and they know what a treat they're in for. The kids go crazy for the ice cream too! Convenient benches out front to sit on and relax while you enjoy your sweet treats. We come back here after year.

Got the maple syrup soft serve while in town for the eclipse, it was delicious, would definitely recommend if you like maple.

Mmmm... Yummy!! Stumbled upon them on our bike ride and enjoyed a baby "Creamsicle" twist. 2 babies for under $5!! Was awesome.

This place is sooo good. The icecream is the opposite of pricey. But the portions may be a little to large. So many options to choose from. Especially if after you want to eat your icecream and watch the sun set.

Cute ice cream shop on the corner of the Pick and Shovel! The store is fun to visit with a pet store for kids to explore. After visiting the store, go to Tim and Doug's with your family. They will like it! The creamies are yummy. All sorts of flavors and sundaes with some local varieties to try. The ice cream is richer texture and sweeter than even Dairy Queen. Most folks like it. I get the small cherry dipped soft serve. The portions are big too. You can sit together at the picnic tables under umbrellas.

The best smoothies and ice cream. Smoothies are very tasty, they have a lot of fresh berries, and ice cream and milkshakes are made from natural milk, and you will immediately feel the difference. This place is not expensive at all. The service is excellent.

If you're wondering what that line down the block in Newport is, that's the crowd waiting for a scoop at Tim and Doug's. Don't skip a frozen treat because of the line though, it usually moves pretty quickly and the few minutes is worth the wait. There's a wide range of ice cream flavors, hand-dipped and soft-serve, and Italian ice. The prices are moderate, but the servings are fairly generous. You can usually find a place to sit and enjoy your cone or sundae at one of the picnic tables or benches, which is always nice after waiting in line.

Gifford's ice cream is excellent and the wide flavor variety always makes it fun to choose. Maple creemee didn't have nearly enough maple.

5 stars for the first seasonal maple creemee spot to open. Maple Creemee heaven. We stopped for our first creemee for 2023. Super tasty spot and really nice counter associates. The medium is massive. Love this little place.

Do not go here, I ordered a twist with hard dip, the dip was falling apart and the ice cream tasted like water (no taste) it melted so quick bc of how much water was probably added, but something was wrong, the milkshake was also watered down. Waste of money, we through it all out. And went somewhere else.

Opening for the season this coming Friday (March 16th, 2018) and I'm unduly excited as for us Vermonter's, T&D reopening marks the end of winter (despite of what the temperatures may be!). The soft serve is delicious as is everything else. Super friendly staff, don't be deterred by the long lines, they move super fast. Enjoy!

I only wish they were more consistent?? The portions always seem to change when the price stays the same?? Maybe I should withhold their tip until they get things right next time?? I won't sweat it that much this time but I will be watching closely for next time...
