Highly recommend Dr Heidi and her staff. Very no nonsense vet office - you are seen quickly, diagnosed quickly and treated quickly, all with compassion and care. Prices are incredibly affordable for a vets office. We had to put down one of our cats and Dr Heidi was very understanding and fit us in that day so he didn't suffer longer. She said goodbye to him as well, which meant a lot to see a vet show that level of empathy.

The vet techs here are wonderful; that's why I didn't give one star - or a negative number!Our dog, with one acl surgical repair, 6 years before, was running across the field, put his leg in a woodchuck hole and screamed. He could barely limp. Anyone who's seen a dog with an acl tear knows what they look like. Dr. Winot told us she was positive it was arthritis, and ordered expensive shots. He had a nearly complete tear, that was repaired by a competent specialist. I could never recommend a vet who can't diagnose such a serious, common, injury.

So so happy with the compassion and care we got today!! I have a fear aggressive German shepherd who's highly anxious around people. They were SO respectful of her and patient with her. I'm actually tearful over how great the experience was for my rescue baby! As an added bonus, they're REALLY affordable!

Despite having heard mixed reviews, I decided to give them a try because they're close to home. However, during the exam, no history was taken and as a result one (of three) of my cats did not receive a shot as he should have done.In addition, while very nice, the tech staff is all quite young and seem to be lacking confidence, which animals sense and contributes to them not feeling safe in an already scary situation.

I originally rated them with 5 stars for great animal care. Recently we had "1" late bill for just over $100 with them after an additional test was suggested. Usually all payments are taken care of at the time of service and this one was done after the appointment. We've spent thousands of dollars with them because of the good animal care we received but beware if you have even a small bill with them. Also, don't ask me how my dog is doing if you're not going to care for her even after we happily cleared up this minor bill.

Dr. Winot and her staff are awesome. I have a Lab/Husky mix that usually shakes with fear when we go to the vets. After her 1st visit she's dragging me to get inside, is relaxed, and loves everyone throughout her visit. If there were more stars I'd rate the clinic higher.Jeff Kinder

We adopted a kitten in the middle of May and were so anxious about finding a vet in the middle of the pandemic. It was such a relief to find West River Valley Vet and Dr. Winot. They took great care of our new kitten and were very caring and responsive when we had to bring her in. Could not recommend them enough!

I can’t speak highly enough about the kind and compassionate care Valley Vet provides. Dr. Winot is the best! She’s been our vet through all stages of my dog’s lives and although it’s a drive to get to her office from where we live, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
