I’ve been coming here for a few years now and every visit they keep getting better and better. The shop has a lot of cool, unique, and fun products; and the deli is super good with many tasty vegan/vegetarian options. I think the Bahn Mi Tempeh is my new favorite although the Tempeh Rueben gives it a run for its money. If you’re looking for a good vegan lunch or vegetarian breakfast this is a great spot.

It’s a store that makes the customer feel like family. The food is delicious. The variety of odds and ends is very interesting. You can sit and eat the homemade food you order. Yum!!Even if you don’t need anything I would suggest stopping into the Newfane store. Just to see what I’m talking about.

Calling this place a "store" does not do it justice. The deli/cafe has a great selection of delicious hot and cold food, but what really stood out for us was the friendly service. Highly recommend!

The beef brisket breakfast sandwich is delicious. Brisket has so much flavor! I appreciate the beef option since I do not eat pork. Also the Sammy breakfast sandwich has the sweetest most delicious bread. They even have iced coffee. Pleasantly surprised for a “store”. We are staying at the Four Columns and got a Breakfast voucher for this location. We will definitely be returning to purchase breakfast.

So far so good. Have been in twice and the sandwiches are great. This is actually a must stop when I visit Vermont. The baked goods are unbelievable and Peanut Butter Bars to die for. I have searched near and far to find the elusive peanut butter bar and this place has them. Not only do they have them they are awesome. The oreo cheesecake is u real too. Delicious cant wait to return.

Best sandwich I’ve had since Alldays and Onions! The wrap was fresh and soft, avocado perfectly ripe and the pickled vegetable in the center was perfect. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the exchange of humor as I waited for my sandwich to be made. I literally told everyone I know about the best sandwich I’ve had in years and I can’t wait to come back for another.

I will say now that we have new owners and their service is amazing, I went in recently during a drive through Newfane. Doug the old owner was an a**. These new owners have a really good thing going, I would highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: They were very nice to my kids who used to live above the market!!

Why don't they have price tags on the standard grocery items, like all canned foods etc. (which is illegal, by the way)? What are they hiding? Based on the dementedly outrageous prices of the tourist items ($120 for a cutting board? $12 for a CEMENT pencil holder?) they are probably charging double what you normally pay in a regular grocery store. This is not a business, it's highway robbery.

We love this place! Even though we have moved away we visit every time we return to town. Great food, always fresh, and lots of choices for vegetarians and children which can sometimes be hard to find in small towns.

I read the consistently great reviews for The Newfane Store so I decided to stop in on my way to Stratton Mountain. The breakfast sandwich was better than anything I can make at home and far better than the typical fast food drive-through offerings. Store was stocked with food, beer, wine, local crafts and more. Friendly and efficient staff, plenty of parking. I normally don't visit the same place twice, but decided to stop again on my way back from Stratton. I ordered the Banh mi sandwich, surprised it was on the menu, and it was the best I have ever had. The pork belly, pickled veggies, bread - all delicious. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their delicious food.I highly recommend The Newfane Store when driving or walking on Route 30 in Vermont. Stop, buy, and eat local.

This store is a frequent lunch stop for me and my family. The food is great - there is a varied selection, and everything we've ever had has been delicious. The employees are helpful and personable. Highly recommend if you're passing through Newfane!

We absolutely love everything about the Newfane Store! We often eat breakfast, lunch and dinner from the store on the weekends and are never disappointed! Always excited to see what the next special might be. I wanted to put in a special recommendation for their catering--they made fabulous trays of lasagna, salad and garlic bread for a gathering last month. Delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended--make sure to stop here!

Loved our deli sandwiches. Perfectly prepared BLT on very fresh bread. The bacon was crispy, the tomato was tasty and the lettuce fresh. The potato salad was excellent and fresh. The fruit salad also fresh and crisp. The deli area was very clean with all of the surfaces wiped down and a clean floor. The staff used their gloves in an appropriate manner and that was appreciated. The store was immaculate with a nice variety of local items.

Never in a million years would I have imagined the closest place serving food to my house would blow all previous favorite food joints out of the water. Amazing staff, amazing food. Their Banh Mi is so good it is even phenomenal two days old, straight out of the fridge, and with a bun half chewed on by my toddler. Everything I have tried is both excellent quality and delicious. Can't wait for Taco Tuesday to start up again too!!!

Take the time to stop at this quaint deli and country store. You will not be disappointed. Had dinner from the deli including smoked chicken (best I’ve had up north), steak tips, kale salad, roasted olives, and best hummus ever!!! Came back for breakfast and was not disappointed with the avocado and smoked salmon toast and breakfast burrito. Yummy!!!!!

We bought food and beer here on Monday and Tuesday as most of the local restaurants were closed. The sandwiches were so fresh and flavorful. We had the roast beef, the picked onions gave it a great twist. We had the Bon Mi, the pickled radon and carrots and tender pork were great! We had chicken tenders which were real pieces of chicken in a light batter. We also had the turkey club. Their beer selection was great. They also have a store where you can get essentials from spices to toilet paper. Friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

The Newfane Store is a great place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner with specials during the week. There are great salads and other dishes to take home. It has essentials as well as a variety of last minute gifts items. I love having the Newfane Store in our community.
