Everytime I come here to get lunch for my work day there's never anything in the cold box hardly I've came here everyday in a week an seen it like this or more empty. There's people back there all the time like I don't get what they are doing all day for this to be empty like this all the time. There's more then one person too unfortunately ill be taking my business elsewhere to work lunches

Dumpster fire of a grocery chain. Rude workers and management, unclean bathrooms, long lines to get out, over priced everything. The Essex store is the only Hannaford I would recommend, although I would just recommend not being in VT to begin with.

“ Your” northeast go to grocery if in VT, Maine. If it’s not stocked here you don’t need it. Great meat counter. Fast easy checkout.

Really fresh produce and there’s numerous options that are plastic free. We especially loved the strawberries in the wooden box (and they were so sweet!!). I wish they carried the local milk in the returnable glass bottles and had more bulk options. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hannaford Grocery Store is a wonderful place for both groceries and U can get your doctor's prescription filled while you shop. Plus U can get several vaccinations while U are there. To me this translates into one stop 🛑 shopping. Talk about convenience. I personally think their meats are of the highest quality, along with their produce. I NEVER GO TO THE SO CALLED PRICE CHOPPER....... THEIR PRICES ARE MORE COSTLY........ Than Hannaford, and at Hannaford the lines are shorter...

Always enjoy going there... Good prices, awesome selection and friendly service. Their service and constant consideration is more than par. After the last disappointment I had with Price Chopper, I'm sticking with Hannaford.

I must admit, I've gotten used to the Layout of the local price chopper and feel like this place's layout choice could be better. Firstly, they have the bread isle under the heaters. I could see how this could make the bread not keep as long as it would be in a cooler section of the store.

I’m very impressed with this store. Everyone is polite the quality is well worth going here never had a bad experience here. I drive from Stowe to shop here everything is fresh and I love the service and smiling faces I would recommend as a local to spend your dollar here it’s well worth it

I love all Hannaford's because of the selection - particularly when it comes to local products - but the people are really what makes the difference and the customer service in Morrisville is super.

I was able to get organic products such as blueberries, cherry tomatoes, baby kale, spring mix, strawberries, Fuji, apples, bananas, and milk, which are important to me. I was disappointed that I couldn’t find organic fruit cups, such as applesauce, pears, and peaches, which are on the dirty dozen list.I hope they continue to add more organic products, especially those on the dirty dozen list, such as cucumbers, celery, grapes, bell peppers, and potatoes.

Used to be my store of choice, but then the shelves emptied as though they were giving away their stuff in anticipation of suicide.No more Gifford's ice cream despite being from Maine. Go to Price chopper if you want seafood or veggies.

Good one for food shopping plus their pharmacy open 7 days you can go in to let them know you are there so they prep it and ready when you are done food shopping. Very convenient

Stock shortages here are commonplace. Staff is sometimes pleasant and helpful and other times rude, slow, and can't be bothered. Lines to check out can be incredibly long so I often self check even with a lot of groceries. I often overhear staff having conversations about the food that are a huge turn off and they frequently complain about management to each other. This is one of two big store options locally. So I'm sort of stuck.

Jodi saved the day. The meat department dropped the ball.I only noticed that the package of chicken breast looked "off" when I went to put it on the belt at checkout. Jodi noticed right away as well and pointed out what can only be described as boils on the raw chicken.She called for assistance and asked specifically that the spoiled me be brought back to the meat department and NOT be put back onto the shelf. The bagger returned a couple of minutes later to report that the meat department just put the package back on the shelves for somebody else to buy it.I can only hope that this was some rogue employee at Hannaford's meat department today (4pm, July 18, 2023) and not corporate policy.Thanks to Jodi for doing the right thing!!!!

This is where I do most of my shopping. I just wish they would get a better lamb company. I have to go to price chopper for lamb because the company Hannaford buys lamb from is really gross.

I love shopping here and will as long as I live in the area. I love the layout and nearly all of the employees are kind and helpful. I gave 4 stars due to the fact that I have now spoken to the customer service desk 4 separate times about special ordering items. Each time they say they could and would be happy to do so. Not only have they failed to call me but they simply don't order the items or restock them. This can be hard when you need to buy the non dairy items they said they would get. Each time I am told to give my number and name and never hear from them.

I think they do super job with their prepared food. Everything s fresh look g and very tasty for those of us that don't really feel like cooking but snacking... With a great bottle of wine. Their wine selection and orices are great also. I enjoy shopping there. Everyone is very friendly. Prices can't be beat either.

This is the nicest Hannaford Supermarket I've been in. The lighting is excellent, the aisles are not over-stacked (which avoids giving the store a claustrophobic warehouse feel), and the facility is spotlessly clean and well laid out.Food prices are very good - slightly higher than sale prices at the neighboring Price Chopper, but also lower than non-sale prices at Price Chopper too. This means you can shop without worry about what is on sale and what is not.Variety is excellent. Organic and natural foods are readily available.The pharmacy is quite fast, after testing several area pharmacies we have found the this Hannaford Pharmacy has the fastest and most responsive service.

Hannaford has a clean environment, staff is usually plentiful, friendly. It's so nice to go to Hannaford and have more than one or two lanes open at a time. A few minutes of waiting is fine, 10+ minutes is ridiculous when it is a regular occurrence. I prefer to go there over any other grocery store. The staff greets each customer, smiles, helps out, and seems happy to be there, this behavior makes the end my long day much easier to bear when I have to shop before going home. Thank you for what you do, its not easy but you all do your part, and do it well!

Hannaford is a nice clean store. I mostly go there for the pharmacy where everyone goes out of their way to be helpful and will take as much time as you need to answer all your questions. Of course while waiting I always manage to fill a cart somehow. They have a rewards program that I really like. There are digital coupons you can "clip" sometimes for free items and they come right off your bill at checkout. Also you earn money quarterly which you can activate when you want to. In the last year I've earned over 22.00 in cash back not counting the coupons I use pretty much every time I shop there. Once you join at the kiosk all you have to do is enter your cell number at checkout and your all set. My one issue is that you have to be careful and make sure the coupons come off your bill. A few times I've found mine did not 😞

Great supermarket for the area. They actually have a nice selection of groceries and their produce is excellent. After seeing how many of the other stores were very limited in offering, this place was a pleasant surprise. The staff was great too. Prices are about as expected.

This is my regular grocery store, and if I rated it for the store at mosphere and helpful people I would give it all the stars. Here is my concern - While shopping I heard a PSA about how Hannaford is doing everything possible to combat climate change and cut down on plastics. The upshot was, "We encourage you to to bring your own bags." Yes, I do always bring in my own bags. But just as Vermont law banned single use plastic bags at stores, the plastics industry ramped it up and now it is impossible to buy juices, oils, produce (even organic vegetables) in recyclable packaging. Worst offender: the butcher! All the meat and fish, even if freshly wrapped in the store, comes in plastic. None of this flimsy plastic (produce) or styrofoam trays (butcher) is accepted at recycling! Anything with these high recycle numbers (4 and up) gets thrown in the trash at the recycling plant. Do not be fooled into thinking you are helping clean up the oceans or reduce landfill plastic! Hannaford Corporate: You can make a huge difference and bring in loads more young shoppers by eliminating non-recyclable plastics from the packaging in products you carry and that you sell in the delis, butcher counters, and produce sections in all your stores. It could be a whole new ad campaign for Hannaford's. Money talks. Demand compostable or recyclable packaging on everything you buy!
