This place was wonderful! My new cat is a perfect fit and had all shots and medical needs all up to date. Totally worth the adoption fee which was minimal in my opinion. All the animals were very well taken care of and had some spacious community areas. They were quick to respond to my message and make an appointment and I adored the staff! They’re doing really good things here, a great shelter to support! We love our kitty Artemis(changed from Rascal😋) thanks Homeward Bound!😍

Dropped off donations of sheets and blankets. Clean location for the many animals they see yearly. Helpful staff assisted with the boxes dropped off.

Please find a proper Humane Society. Any experience myself or family has had while interacting with anyone at homeward bound has been genuinely painful. Whether it was inquiring YEARS ago about adopting (the sense of entitlement was brutal). Or more recently being scoffed at when we asked if our beloved lost house cat, had maybe shown up at the shelter. The Lack of empathy and commitment at HWB over the previous 4 1/2 years has just been unpleasant.

Super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate. I brought my cat, Joey, to the HUB this morning to check on a sinus infection. He had a thorough examination and I received eye drops to bring home, as well as flea meds for the next month. All for $10!!!

This place is wonderful, if you were a fan of Betty White please consider donating in her name . Her 100th birthday would have been Jan. 17th. The Betty White Challenge is going on all over the country. Please give whatever you can..even 5.00 is important. There is also a list of items they always need. Betty would be so happy.

The first person we talk to wasn't that great but the main person we worked with was really fantastic and she told us a lot about the cats that were there and we ended up adopting one. The shelter was very clean and didn't have a cat smell to it.

I've adopted three cats in the span of 17 years from here. I love that I can always stop in just to love on the kitties whenever I want. The woman that works at the front desk on Saturdays is always so welcoming and kind.

This is a beautiful facility! The animals have their own rooms and there are no unpleasant odors. The place is very clean.The staff are wonderful people! Great visit!

This shelter does wonderful work and has a great facility. I'm a huge proponent of adopting animals who need homes rather than buying from a breeder and I am very proud to call Homeward Bound the county animal shelter and rescue. My next fur-family members will be coming from here, that I am sure!

PLEASE!!! Stay away from this awful 😢 place. They stole my friends dog after agreement to return her in two weeks and be bordered by a friend. Instead the dog was given to a family with out her best interests. All calls were not returned and she was lied to repeatedly! What scam artists and control freaks! Her heart 💔 is broken as she never intended to give Muggzy away! They should be ashamed!

Great, friendly staff. I found a dog on the side of the road on one of the hottest days of the year and they were happy and excited to take her in to give a place to rest until her owner was able to locate her.

Pretentious front desk worker. Said she would send someone up to assist us looking at cats. That person never came. When we asked the front desk worker questions regarding a certain cat, she became judgemental and made the decision to leave without a cat an easy one.
