I was very happy with Aubuchon Hardware in Middlebury when I had an urgent need for a little refrigerator (because my own had failed) and they had a 4.4-cubic foot fridge in stock. When I was calling around to find one, I reached Peter at Aubuchon and he was really helpful on the phone. He told me how to go on-line and pay for it with credit card, which turned out to be easy, and I had my fridge within hours. Phew! I always get good service at Aubuchon-Middlebury.

Delivery experience was top-shelf. Delivery guy called me to keep me in the loop on delivery time. The 2 guys on the truck were very friendly and placed the items just where I had wanted. I love this Aubuchon store. The employees are so welcoming and helpful and the store carries my favorite products.

Superior help from Peter, who matched the various parts and pieces of hardware I needed from the nuts and bolts aisle -- it would have taken me much more time to do the same.Disappointed, though, to not be able to apply my birthday savings. The cashier tried diligently but could not make it work.

Good store! Convenient. But unfortunately none of the sales staff wearing masks. The pharmacy next to them, has all their employees wearing masks. The other local hardware store also has all their employees wearing masks. I will be making the extra 5 min drive to shop at that store now.

I bought paint to prime and paint my entryway and dining room. Benjamin Moore paint was priced fairly . The entire process for ordering online and picking it up curbside went very well. Customer service was pleasant and helpful. This is the second time doing this during the pandemic. I also wanted to support our local merchants.

The staff at this store have always been really helpful, and usually walk me to the item that I am looking for, discuss the benefits of each choice, and either let me shop or walk back to the cash register to ring me up. I am usually pretty ignorant, and they have never been condescending. Plus, they have the mousetraps that I can't find anywhere else!

I love this store and the people that work there are friendly and helpful. However, no one is wearing masks even though the website says everyone is masked. Looks like I will be visiting the other hardware stores down the road.

Michael was very helpful when I was searching for electrical tape. I was very stressed because of the power outages from storm Isaias hit and my generator was in need of repair. He calmed my nerves and gave me valuable advice on repair techniques. Incredibly kind and helpful.

Sign on the door demanding I wear a mask to enter which is not required in Vermont. This store seems to have forgotten who the customer is and who is the business. I don't need someone I'm paying telling me to wear. Instead I simply went to Home Depot in Rutland which didn't put any requirements on their customers.
