Great views, lots of different things in the store. Had a good selection of candy I haven't seen since I was younger and uncommon sodas. The Apple cider donuts were delicious.Only issue was the 2 kids it took to check us out seemed kinda lost, preoccupied and more interested in closing the register then doing their job correctly. Might have been a bad day so didn't remove a ⭐

Just happened upon this Country Store with amazing views. Tasty treats, home made fudge, ice cream and cider donuts available. Plenty of Vermont souveniers. There's even a museum inside. Stop in. You won't be disappointed. Plenty of parking available. Friendly staff. Good prices.

Nice side of the road stop. Has good views and the shop has a bit of everything. A tip is when parking take the time to pull in and take back into the spot. The parking is on a curve and traffic can approach at 40 or more mph, so it could be hard to judge backing out.

What a great place! Obviously set up for tourists but that’s ok. The maple soft serve ice cream is delicious. As are the home made apple cider cinnamon sugar donuts. You can sample cheeses, dips and maple syrups. Omg so yummy! They make their own fudge and have lots of flavours.There are Vermont gifts, seasonings, clothing, toys, puzzles, household items, even dog treats!You can sit outside and the view in incredible. I love it here!

What a great little country store to explore! They have amazing homemade treats and other goodies to check out and buy. The smells are so good! The Hogback Mountain Country Store should definitely be on your list if you are in the area!

Adorable tourist trap. Interesting stuff. Kitsch Vermont stuff. Good donuts. Fudge probably has a lot of corn syrup, it's very smooth (if that's how you like it). Your kids will find you something to buy.

Lovely scenic roadside stop, the ice cream was just soft serve when we went so hoping during tourist season they will feature better. Typical tourist gifts and nice selection of cheeses.

Great stop and beautiful overlook of the fall foliage. The donuts are delicious and you will want to buy some as soon as you walk in and smell them. Great finds for everyone.

Beautiful views with a quaint candy shop with all sorts of memorabilia and tourist items. Fresh coffee with honey sticks was my go to. But loved the selections of candy and homemade fudge.

We got to the store just after it closed, but the spring view of the trees blossoming and leafing out spread out to the horizon in every direction. I don't think we could see any sign of civilization from the wonderful observation deck beside the store. Don't rush by. Stop the car and get out and at least see the views. You won't regret it.

A wonderful view point to stop at and take in the beauty of Vermont Mts. The store is full of interesting items. My husband bought a stuff moose, since we had seen moose crossing signs. I bought moose plop for a fun gift to give my son. And there is such a variety and reasonably priced items.

I love visiting Hogback Mountain Country Store.Spectacular & stunning scenic lookout, with a fabulous gift shop that offers locally made Vermont goods such as maple goods, cheddars, sausages, homemade fudge, wines & liquors also an assortment of gifts, candles, apparel & home goods.Complimentary tastings & super friendly staff.I have been coming here since I was a child. It's a must stop if visiting Southern Vermont.

I first visited here over 40 years ago. The building still looks the same with a great overlook view of the mountains. Much of the product has changed but it is still uniquely Vermont. Nice people working the counters and clean bathrooms.

This place is so cool!!!! Get in your car take a ride explore your world.. it's very beautiful... Nice people.good Vermont Maple products. The store also has clothing and other unique Vermont items to purchase... Very good ice cream too!

Great lookout point. There is plenty of parking. The view is spectacular here. Its only a 30 minute drive up the hill from Brat and the ride back down is fun. There is the Beer Naked Brewery across the street that is well worth visiting.

I was really surprised by the Museum, many due to poor advertising, but if its open the Museum is well worth the low price of $5 for adults and $2 for children. I was expecting a history museum of hogback mountain, but low and behold this is more of a "Nature Center", with three floors of exhibits including live animals, small activities and the most extensive stuffed bird collection I have ever seen, showcasing rare breeds, birds of prey, and even albino species all well posed.

Beautiful shop and vista, but beware. The guy working the counter is extremely nasty. He was yelling at customers the entire time we were there, most of whom were nice older folks just looking to buy souvenirs. It was shocking and a little bizarre, to be honest, I haven't seen customer service that poor in several years. I remember the man behind me saying "that's no way to talk to your customers" and he was right.

Take the drive and head up here. Pick a sunny day, put the top down, jump on a motorcycle, just head up here. The views are wonderful especially for the fall color. If it's a crisp, cool day you can see forever. The little shop has everything you could want for Vermont gear and the next door distillery has your maple syrup alcohol needs taken care of.

Souvenir mega store! This place has so many items it is crazy. If you want a souvenir this is the place to stop. They sell maple syrup but I suggest visiting the Robb Family Farm for their syrup. Also have soft serve ice cream in Maple or Chocolate flavors. Beautiful overview of the hills in the area with fall colors makes for a great photo opp. Be careful when leaving because this facility is located on a somewhat blind curve. I was backing out and could not see the car speeding around the curve making me shift back into drive and moving out of the way super quick. Overall, the store is THE place for souvenirs and great photos!

I’m so glad we stopped at Hogback Mountain Country Store! The view from the deck was gorgeous! They have an amazing selection of gifts and souvenirs, as well as a large assortment of fudge and other treats and several flavors of cheeses.

Wonderful little gift shop with breathtaking view. I highly recommend stopping there in the morning for freshly made apple cider donuts and soft serve maple ice cream as the two are a match made in heaven!
