We were extremely disappointed and frustrated as we had decided to go to the Dollar General for its convenient hours.The lack of communication and inconsistency between the online store hours and the actual operating hours was highly unprofessional. It wasted our time and left us without the necessary items we needed for the night.Furthermore, the absence of any explanation or sign on the door only added to our frustration. It would have been courteous and considerate for Dollar General to at least provide a reason for the early closure, whether it was due to unforeseen circumstances or a mistake in updating the store hours.Overall, this experience left a negative impression of Dollar General. We expected better customer service and reliability from a well-known chain like this. It is disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and communication. We hope that Dollar General takes this feedback into consideration and improves their operations to avoid inconveniencing future customers.

Very nice store. Get name products cheaper then bigger stores like Walmart. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sells lots of items clothes footwear school supplies toys tools cleaning supplies household items phones phone accessories food alcohol and tobacco products and much much more. All for a lower or discounted price

Most of the employees are very friendly. There's only one or two that aren't very friendly and don't smile or say hi to you or make you feel welcome I guess is a good way to put it. I do love this store because I can get most of what I need in ONE place. It's a pain for me to have to make several different stops for the things that I need. Prices are usually pretty fair I think. I also would like to put a shout out to the employee that is the most friendly and that I absolutely love. Her name is Deb. She's wonderful. Makes you feel very welcome, asks if you need assistance, asks if you found everything. We've gotten a pretty good customer, employee relationship and I love going in and finding out that she's working! :)

Store is Always pretty clean and usually has just about everything you could need. Or want. It could easily be your one stop shop as it has everything from beer, ciggs, food, diapers, clothes, toys and so much more!

With all that's going on in the world right now I feel your staff should be wearing face mask. I work retail and it is mandatory that all employees wear them. We also have plexiglass and still wear them. There was only one employee who was wearing one. I thanked him for doing so. He said his dad was a doctor and new how important it was. I wish all your employees felt the same. 😥😥😥😥

The store is mostly what you would expect from a bargain type variety store. It two restrooms (male/female) that are handicap accessible and have changing tables, and are most times very clean. Make note these are locked and the key is kept at the front counter.Prices are clearly marked for every product, and many products are steeply discounted. Products are organized in a sensible manner and relatively easy to find. Propane tanks can be exchanged here for $20 + tax, as well balloons can be filled. The staff is lethargic and seemingly witless. No smiles, no help, just punching buttons on a till.

As soon as we entered we were greeted by the workers yelling at each other from one end of the store to the other. It was constant and went on the entire time we were there, which was roughly an hour. The shelves were a mess and there was hardly walking room in some of the aisles. When we finally reached checkout some of the products didnt ring up correctly and the person who could fix it didnt know how! We were standing there for a good 20 mins while she was trying to figure it out and she didnt even fix all of them.

Good and friendly employees, they have everything I need to survive just about, so I don't need to go to any other store. And if they don't, they apologize up and down, then they tell me when next shipment is coming in so plan.

Every customer was wearing a mask only to be met in the checkout by two ladies that were NOT wearing masks. Lyndonville VT is better than this. Every other place you go in the staff is prepared and following procedures like you're supposed to unlike DG. Won't be visiting this store again unless they clean up their act.

You can get so many personal care items and snacks for way less than you can get them in the supermarket… I got a 4 pack of Pringles for 2.85 and a 10 bag snack size of ritz peanut butter crackers for a $1.99! Not to mention I was able to get shampoo and deodorant at half of what it cost at Walgreens

VT has a mask requirement and a social distancing requirement. Too many people come into this store without wearing a mask and make no attempt to stay six-feet away from other people. The clerks do nothing to enforce either requirement.I'd complain to Corporate, but they only want to hear about problems with online ordering and hang-up if the problem or complaint is about anything else.As for the condition of the store, were this pig pen not the only place I could find the food my dogs eat, I'd definitely be shopping somewhere else.

They need 2 DOUBLE CHECK SALE and CLEARANCE PRICED ITEM'S ( beforehand and or while ringing the items up) AS THEY NEVER SEEM 2 RING UP PROPERLY it's a pain when you have 2 go all the way bk 2 the store and hv them refund you the money that u were over charged

Foynd what I was looking for. Concerns are people aren't doing the tree e 6' distance at cash registers. Signs on counters would be a good idea. The ones on the floor are worn out.

with the name dollar general you would think stuff is cheap there but it's not and there is always a wait to check out but other then that it's a nice store and the store carrys all kinds of stuff a person would want or need . I just just don't like the store because of the cost of things and the long lines you got to wait in to check out

There's always only one register open the lines always backed way up there's enough people to open two to three registers but they never do, some of the employees are very rude not helpful at all with questions or pricing they always seem like it's a hassle to deal with their customers
