10/10 experience! I needed a whole new ski setup and boots. The staff member who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me great quality gear at a very reasonable price! I usually have a hard time finding boots but they fit me in the best pair I’ve ever owned! Incredible experience and staff. I will be recommending this place to everyone!

I’ve rented and purchased full set ups from Northern at both locations. THEY ARE THE BEST. Don’t rent on the mountain, save money and get true professionals to fit your gear. Both locations also have a great selection of ski clothes. It’s the only place I’ll go. If you’re getting new boots, go out of your way to get a custom fit, for no extra charge, at Northern.

I'm a 61 year old snow boarder and I've decided to go back to skiing (half day after am ride) Corey was great and we hit it off emediately. He fit me with boots and adjusted the bindings on the skis I had. Great experience and customer service.

Awesome shop. We went here after our skis flew off our rack on our way to Okemo back in February . They set my friends up with rentals and fixed all they things they could. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of gear and rentals. 10/10 shop!

I met with Bobby today to help fix up my boots which were hiring me a ton. These boots were only 6-months old. He did a great job talking about all the various things that can be done to try and fix this up. Great work and very helpful.

I don’t usually write reviews but the guys at Northern Ski Works were exceptional and went above and beyond. We brought my daughter’s new skis so they could set up the bindings but Tom took us upstairs and did a proper fitting for her boots. He made slight adjustments and made them fit like a glove. My daughters eyes literally lit up when she tried them on. Tom and the whole team were super knowledgeable and extremely nice. We will be regular, returning customers!

(Edited to fix my review)The service was awesome! Everyone answered the many questions I had and recommended the right gear for what I wanted to do. Their team knows so much about equipment they could tell you the history of how it has changed over the years. They have great machinery to upgrade and maintain your equipment as well, unlike other operations I've seen that won't even bother to install fume extraction. Northern ski rentals is definitely a place I would recommend.I've been using rental equipment my whole life up until now and I can definitely notice the difference.. Where I normally would have some trouble on the double black diamond trails I was able to just go straight at it on my first try after a four year break.If you factor in the cost of rentals and lift tickets, unless you only go once a year, you really should own and maintain your equipment, and get a lift pass, you will save an enormous amount of time and money after it's all set up.Thanks for helping me out this last weekend 🙂🤟

We can to this store because of its high google reviews. Turns out it's totally worth the 5 stars!! We wanted to ski for 3 days at first, but plans changed and we only would need the tools for 2 days. Return the stuff at noon of the third day, the staff we met were so nice that they voluntarily didn't charge us for the third day because we didn't ski the third day!! Will definitely go back here!!!

Been a customer here through the years. Always super helpful and friendly staff. Robbie answered the phone when I called, told me they had what I needed and as soon as I arrived, he took care of me without any issue. Glad I didn't wait any later in the day as a big group of people came in right behind me!

The store is nice. Rob is really experienced with Boot fitting and super nice, very helpful. It's just because of this pandemic, not many choices available for boots and skis.

As General Manager of Northern Ski Works in Killington and Ludlow, I am saddened and disheartened to see that some people do not respect our wishes to wear a mask after several requests to do so and have felt the need to voice this on Google in a derogatory way. The state mandates that customers wear masks to protect themselves and others. We are happy that we're able to be open and provide excellent service to our customers. Please know that we are not the nasty, rude people that others have posted about us and that we stand by our right to ask customers entering our stores to please wear a mask to protect us all.

I've been skiing for over 40 years. For me, skiing is much more than a winter activity, a sport or even a lifestyle... its in my DNA. As someone who comes from the powdery trails of British Columbia and lives in ski boots, I have chewed through many pairs, and in that time, I have not met a boot-fitter as thorough and knowledgeable as Tom Favro of Northern. Tom wants you to be comfortable and to be able to perform when you need to send it - he won't sell you something that is inappropriate for your skiing ability and needs. He has customized two pairs for boots better than any other boot-fitter who has serviced my cantankerous feet. He also hooked up my wife - she too is very happy.Schedule a meeting with Tom (or any of the other great boot-fitters that work there) and discuss with them your needs (be sure to be truthful about your abilities) - and listen carefully. You also need to be patient: don't expect the boots to fit like your slippers the first day. Ski a few days, then go back have Tom and Northern work their magic... once you know where your hotspots are, they can bake them or do whatever is necessary to make them fit and perform. You might need another visit, and they will do all this at no extra charge. The level bespoke tailoring is better than you get from a Saville Row suit!I have also used their Killington location - the fitters there are amazing.Do yourself a favor and buy your boots from nowhere else.
