I had such a lovely stay at this hotel! The manager Emily was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was perfectly laid out and plenty of hooks for hanging ski gear to dry. We also loved the restaurant and bar with since there was live music both nights! Free shuttle to the mountain and to local bars was super convenient. We enjoyed the game room which has a pool table, and the upstairs lounge area with a little fire place - super cozy. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

I stayed at the Mountain Inn twice in the last 2 weeks. I recommend this place and would go back. I could tell the rooms were recently renovated, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, for about 5 or 6 dollars you could purchase a breakfast sandwich which looked delicious. The inn has onsite restaurant and bar, the bar had great selection of beers and drinks, probably wine too. Bartender Jared is engaging and knows his stuff. The menu was not large but reasonable and what I had was good, it was nice to have restaurant and bar in the inn, just had a nice vibe. I had many interactions with the staff, they were all very helpful, they seem to like working there and interacting with guests. The guy who runs the place is named JP, a very helpful guy who just oozes hospitality and sets a great tone.Food & drinks: Try the old fashion drink.

Stayed this past weekend and I was blown away. The staff were kind, responsive and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working there. The patience they had with a late season storm bringing I can only imagine an influx of guests was unmatched. The rooms were clean and well kept. Mary and Val provided us with toothpaste when we forgot to pack it but we’re unfortunately too snowed in to go to a store that night. The pool was relaxing and cozy…even in the snow! And did I mention there is a very good, hardworking…dog at check in?!?

Stayed 2 nights here and it was lovely. Cozy rooms, lounge areas, and lots of amenities (co-working space, heated pool, game room, fitness center, ski lockers, continental breakfast). Convenient shuttle to Killington Snowshed lodge running all day! Every single person from the shuttle driver to the front desk and restaurant provided excellent service. Restaurant on site had very good food and a fun selection of craft cocktails featuring the on-site distillery, plus a beautiful view of the mountain. Highly recommend!

I rolled into the Inn during an awful snowstorm. The owner was lovely and helpful. The staff were friendly and were all offered lodging by the owner if it was too difficult to get home. I was able to have a great meal in the restaurant. The room was pristine. The shuttle to the mountain was very convenient. I will definitely visit again!Nearby activities: Very close to the mountain

What an incredible place The Mountain Inn is! The rooms are clean, comfortable and with the necessary amenities. The inn has lounges, game room, outdoor heated pool and an incredible onsite restaurant and distillery. They provided extra blankets, pillows and towels prior to arrival and other little extras a few guests forgot (toothbrushes and such). We truly had an amazing weekend away thanks to Mary & Val and the rest of the team at the Mountain Inn in Killington! The breakfast is yummy as well!Rooms: Spacious enough, comfortable beds, mini fridge & tv.Safety: Very safe, extra locks on doors but also the hotelItself is safe.Food & drinks: Hotel restaurant is delicious and convenient. Close to other very good restaurants.Noteworthy details: Very cozy hotel even for those who don’t do outdoor winter activities in your group.

We had the best experience here! Stayed 3 nights Weds-Sat. Family of 4, we booked a king room with a fireplace and another room with 2 queen beds. I saw the square footage of the rooms weren't too big, and wanted the extra space because our kids are 15 and 9. We almost booked a ski in-out condo, but we are so happy we did not because it would have been a drive-in/out due to the lack of snow (many of the trails were closed). Something to consider. Brandon greeted us, allowed us to check in early, and personally showed us where everything was located. JP was very outgoing and always greeted us with a smile. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the mountain view balconies very much. The amenities were great. Shuttle service to the mountain was so quick and convenient. Indoor ski lockers were located right nilear the door for the shuttle. Made storing/ lugging equipment much easier. My kids enjoyed the heated pool and game room. All the games were free. Pool table, fuseball, corn hole, connect 4, etc. There was also an additional lounge with board games. The breakfast was perfect in the morning before skiing. I especially liked the oatmeal bar with about 7 toppings to add. My son loved the cinnamon buns and the mini scones were a perfect treat. I used the workout room for some upper body strength and ran on the treadmill. Not a lot of equipment, but what was there was well maintained and enough to get a good workout. If you want all the amenities of a large resort, but a more personalized experience stay here! Loved it, we will be back!

The fireplace in our room fell down while I was warming up in front of it and cut and burned my ankle, ruining our celebratory evening shortly after arriving to the hotel. When addressed the hotel did provide the owner/upper managements number JP, who returned our funds and offered a future stay somewhere nice on his account, we were so grateful. When I reached out to JP regarding the future stay a few months later, I was ignored. They will check the fireplaces now because of what happened to me they said, but make sure the fireplace in your room is secure before turning it on.

Nice smaller hotel adjacent to Killington. Recently updated rooms are a little shabby but clean. On-site restaurant had excellent food and drink.Hotel has ski lockers for each room.Breakfast room was a bit crowded but the food choices were excellent.Rooms: Clean small rooms with comfy bed.Food & drinks: Excellent on-site restaurant and bar with their own on-site distillery.

Decided to hit the slopes after a weather report from Killington. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean and comfortable. The hostess approached me as I was leaving to grab dinner. She and the bar tender helped find me something for dinner and I have an enormous amount of food allergies. They accommodated my allergies and I had an amazing dinner and drinks. Live music and friendly staff.

This place was amazing, with great staff and amenities. Our first time to Killington for our first snowboarding trip of the year. Location was great and just a short walk to the lifts. The hotel had a great bar/restaurant in site. And the front desk staff was over the top helpful. Erica and Emily did everything they could to make our trip a success. We will be back next year for sure

The stay here was amazing, from the location to friendly staff and great food there's not much more I could ask for. Rooms were super clean and it had the extra touches like a fireplace and hooks for hanging clothes. The quintessential Vermont mountain lodge, would highly recommend staying here and will be going back in the future.Nearby activities: Killington mountain is visible from the front of the hotel and the shuttle makes it super convenient to get to and from the mountain in minutes.Safety: The Inn was very comfortable and relaxing, with around the clock staff and secure rooms it felt super safe.Food & drinks: The farm to table style restaurant had great options for food, including vegetarian. Highly recommend the meatballs served with an in house maple bourbon BBQ. The drinks from local beers to crafted cocktails provides a drink for every taste. If you stay here definitely plan a night to eat on site.Noteworthy details: This is a great place to stay if you plan on skiing in Killington. The ski lockers, shuttle, and location make it perfect for a ski trip.

If I could I would rate this Inn 4.5/5. Just as a note I rarely give 5/5 reviews. In order to get 5/5, the experience and stay must be perfect and without any suggestions/recommendations.Pros:-Amazing and attentive staff (always helpful, smiling and kind)-VERY close to mountain, shuttle is provided (very fast service for shuttle)-Breakfast (hard boiled eggs, bagels, bread, english muffins, jams, yogurt, oatmeal with lots of toppings, bananas, apples, oranges, muffins, cinnamon rolls, granola bars, cereals, yogurt, tons of spreads for breads, apple juice, orange juice, coffee, tea, water) plenty of choice-Outdoor heated pool (open in winter)-Operations Manager allowed us the use of the conference room in the evening as we had a larger group that wanted to play cards-Restaurant on site-Water stations throughout the inn to fill up-Pet friendly-Small exercise room with treadmill, free weights, stationary bike, leg press-Noise level guidelines were followed by all guests-S'mores making ingredients at the front desk-generous with towels when needed-lounge area on third floor-games room-ski locker to store gearCons:Everything I am listing are MINOR things and I am only sharing because if I was the owner I would want to know where I can improve and make adjustments to make this place even more incredible.-small room, but we knew this when we booked (in future, if we can afford it we will book two rooms for our family)-hook was missing from our room (with a family of four and ski gear every hook is required)-Glass Shower sliding door did not close while taking shower. It slides open due to uneven floor? We had to place our shampoo bottles behind the door to prevent it from opening-If the shower door was not closed tight water would leak onto the bathroom floor-a deep clean is required- vacuum and dusting of the room, and halls-sheets were thin and the bedding didn't feel crisp like other properties I have stayed at. (it may be due to the material combination of cotton plus polyester). I know, very minor.-Luggage rack that folds up would have been nice to have with my family of 4. Had trouble finding a place to put our 4 luggage bags.Would I recommend this INN? Absolutely.Experience Overall: The closeness to the mountain and the restaurants make this place unbeatable. The staff are top notch and amazing. They truly made our stay stand out. We almost felt like family, particularly the Operations Manager making us feel so welcomed and accepted.

I wish I could leave a good review, but my experience staying here wasn't great. I noticed a couple of reviews mentioning bad pillows, and I must say, there are no words to describe how terrible they are! The pillows are so thin that my neck hurt really bad after a few days of sleeping on them. Even if the pillows were fine, it's impossible to sleep well due to the horrible soundproofing – you can literally hear EVERYTHING from the corridor and your neighbors. There were a few positives, such as the hotel's location, a shuttle to the mountain with a super polite driver, and a nice old lady at the reception. However, that's it. Sadly, I won't be staying here again.

We fled Lake George area after a couple bad experiences (especially with our hotel) during the holiday weekend. We called hotels all over VT and couldn’t find one with an opening. Our last call was to the Mountain Inn and they had one room left available. We had never stayed in the Killington area and didn’t know what to expect. The gentleman who took our booking over the phone was very polite and friendly. When we arrived we were impressed with where the inn was located. The front desk gentleman was again friendly and polite and showed us around / to all the things they had to offer. Restaurant, heated outdoor pool, game room, and distillery shop. We were so relieved to see the hotel room was very cute and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. We swam in the outdoor pool and the outdoor area was nice. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included and it was very good. All in all we were so happy we found this place, it was a “meant to be” last minute decision. We will definitely be back in the future. The short time we had there saved our 5 year anniversary trip and made it enjoyable!

Really wanted to love this place but interaction at checkout ruined it for me. We decided to leave a day early (3 hours after normal checkout) so I asked the front desk if there was any kind of discount we could get on the full day rate. They said they could update it to a half day for us and knock off $100 which I thought was very reasonable. Came back shortly after to finish checking out and confirmed this with the manager and he was extremely rude and said he could not do that and no “half day” rate exists. Insinuated I made the whole thing up and didn’t apologize. With how friendly everyone else in VT is I was shocked that the manager at this place was so unfriendly and rude. Other negatives about this hotel: no hot options at breakfast besides oatmeal, no tea coffee or water available in the rooms (I asked if they had some and they said I would have to buy at their restaurant), and the on site restaurant has a smaller and more expensive menu than anywhere else in the area. Location is great but not worth the cost given the negatives.

Our stay at the Mountain Inn in Killington was a wonderful way to start the winter season! The staff were super welcoming and accommodating. The location was super close to the mountain. We cannot wait to visit again soon.Rooms: The rooms were super clean and very accessible.Nearby activities: The ski mountain was very close and the hotel offered a shuttle throughout each day.Safety: We felt very safe here and the staff were always available for support.Walkability: The hotel was super close to the ski mountain.Food & drinks: The restaurant/distillery, Still on the Mountain, was located right on site. We stayed here for three nights and ate dinner here all three nights because of how great the food was. The menu was very diverse and the staff was beyond welcoming. The restaurant had a very warm ambiance.

Good location with a great vibe. JP and all the staff were great, made us feel very welcomed. You could tell they really care. Heated pool, pet friendly, close to the mountain at a good price!Room was good and clean, nice usable space good for a ski weekend. Didn't end up using the heat in our room it was plenty warm, it was about 34 degrees out, we had to open the windows for a moment to cool off!

Absolutely beautiful. The view is expectacular from this inn. We stayed in the penthouse, and it was amazing. It's spacious and clean, and the hot tub works so well. They offer continental breakfast, which is beyond my expectations. This inn has a restaurant in the building and offers a lot of amenities. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
