The Snowed Inn is a must stay, it is in a perfect location for skiing around Vermont and exploring local towns. We absolutely loved it here and had an amazing stay!Everyone, especially Ken and Carolyn, were so nice and the inn felt so homey, cozy, and charming. The room was very clean. We loved relaxing sitting by the freplace after our day skiing. The breakfasts were yummy as well. Thank you for a great stay. We will definitely be back! 5+ stars!

Cannot wait to go back to Snowed Inn! The location was so convenient for skiing at the mountain and also nightlife. There is a free shuttle at the bottom of the driveway that brings you to the mountain and also elsewhere on Killington Road. The staff was so incredibly helpful - especially with our late-night arrival (they laid out keys & directions for us to pick up). We enjoyed the daily breakfast, the hot tub, the warm cookies, and the boot warmers! Can't recommend more... what a little gem!

During our recent getaway, my husband and I found a gem in the Snowed Inn! From the get-go, we were greeted with warm smiles, especially from Ken and Carolyn, who gave us the lowdown on all the best spots to explore. The rooms were like a cozy cocoon, so clean and comfy we felt right at home. And oh, the breakfasts—absolutely scrumptious, served with love by the talented kitchen crew. We couldn't get enough of the homemade cookies and coffee, perfect for a midday pick-me-up. But what really stood out was the staff's friendliness and the inviting vibe of the inn. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Killington, the Snowed Inn is a must-visit!

We unreservedly recommend Snowed Inn without hesitation! We had such a relaxed visit that started with meeting our hosts Ken and Carolyn and we immediately felt at home. It really felt like an upscale B&B with the recent remodel, all day coffee/tea bar and fresh cookies in the evening. Our room was very comfortable with clear instructions on how to enjoy all the amenities. The breakfast was refreshingly simple and delicious, the perfect amount in a serene setting. It was also the perfect place to unwind, meet other guests as well as enjoy the grounds and spa. We will be back for a visit!Noteworthy details: Ken and Carolyns sincere interest in us made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail was evident throughout Snowed Inn.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at Snowed Inn. The location was perfect. Quietly tucked away just off the main access road, you are still walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The owners were incredibly kind people and their pride in the place showed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in Killington, VT!

A fantastic place -- "Gracious Lodging" does indeed best describe our experience at the Snowed Inn. The rooms, lobby, and public areas are kept meticulously clean with an attention to details. The location cannot be beaten -- a 3-minute walk from wonderful restaurants and a short one mile drive to Killington Ski Resort.Rooms: Wonderful, unique rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay.Nearby activities: Just a short one minute drive to Killington Ski Resort and and five minutes to Pico and state parks.

Such a beautiful property, very cozy inn. It’s also walking distance to local restaurants or coffee shops. I’ve come here a few times, it’s the same as when I was here a couple years ago. I brought my sister here after a few days in the woods. It was exactly what we needed. The hot tub is so relaxing, outside with a view of the woods and the back deck has little twinkle lights and areas to sit. The breakfast is great! The staff are amazing. I needed early check in and they arranged it, no cost! They really go above and beyond to make your stay at the inn comfortable and cozy. Will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to everyone I know if they’re staying in vermont! Thank you!! I’ll remember this trip forever.

The Snowed Inn is a picturesque inn with no soul or laughter. The inn keepers were totally inflexible when we wanted to make a change in our reservation. The inn gives me the feeling of going to the principles office. The breasfast was premade and store bought .. the inn had no heartTry the Barnstead Inn …. 1000 times better w food , bar and King the inns New Foundland will greet you w love .Rooms: CleanNearby activities: Tons of fun restaurants after skiingSafety: Felt safeFood & drinks: Lots of places to try , Charity, Wobbly Barn, the Garlic, Foundry, Choices

I found this place after looking for a last minute stay for a night and I'm so glad I did. This a beautifully cozy location, well decorated without being too much and the staff are just lovely. I was greeted with delight during check-in and shown quickly to my room. It was just enough space with a nice size bathroom and jacuzzi tub, which I was able to enjoy. Breakfast the next morning was carefully prepared timely according to my menu selections the night before and was delicious. A special thanks to Eric who is an absolute pleasure, a warm personality, and attentive to whatever you might need. I hope to return for a longer stay someday.

Our stay at The Snowed Inn was wonderful. The owners, Carolyn & Ken, are very hardworking & do a amazing job making sure everyone has a great stay. They are extremely detail oriented - complimentary cookies by the fireplace everyday for you to enjoy after skiing, ski equipment storage & drying station, a nice bar near the fireplaces in the lobby, the list goes on & on. Overall, the Inn is CLEAN, charming, & quiet. The location is very centrally located and is walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars & nightlife. Just a few minutes drive to the many parking areas by the mountain too. Highly recommend for couples that want to go out, but come home to peace & quiet before a big day of skiing the next day. Breakfast ready to go in the morning makes it easy to get to the mountain early. You literally wake up to the smell of banana bread! Will definitely be back the next time we come to Killington :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Snowed in. Every one was wonderful and Friendly. The room was great and exactly what we needed, a quiet week end away. The concept of breakfast was great. we preordered on arrival, and everything was ready at the time we had decided. No food waste, and all was home made. Loved it.In the evening we enjoyed a drink at the bar, and a great conversation with the person serving. It made our stay even more enjoyable.Just one thing, the coffee at breakfast was instant.. We would have appreciated a fresh ground coffee, I am just being picky, this did not impact our stay.Walkability: Some restaurants down the road. Can walk there as no Uber comes up.Food & drinks: They have a little bar where they serve drinks and small snacks. Well priced and enjoyable.

This was a wonderful experience. We were greeted warmly by Dan, the innkeeper, and received clear instructions about the inn and its amenities. They offered excellent suggestions for activities--we are non-skiers--involving hiking and snowshoeing. The breakfast they provided was filling and quite tasty. And don't miss the afternoon cookies! The room came with its own fireplace which warmed us nicely.

This was our second time staying here, the first time since it’s been under new ownership. This place is so great, awesome location within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Shuttle to Mountain nearby (we chose to just drive up and park, as it was so close). Daily breakfast was perfect. Hot tub on site was great! They kept the rustic wood burning fireplace going at proper times so we could warm up and relax with a beverage. Owners were very polite, personable, and attentive. We will be back next time we head to Killington!

The most adorable bed & breakfast. The entire place smells like sugar cookies. The rooms were very clean and cozy. They have a hot tub that can be reserved for 30 minutes at a time and they had 2 fireplaces going each night which guests could relax by at night. The owners were so friendly and their homemade breakfast each morning was so delicious. Our only negative feedback was there were some families with children that were rather loud in the morning which diminished the intimate atmosphere a bit. Other than that A+!

As soon as you walk in, the inn smells really good and you feel welcomed. Very cute Inn both outside and inside. Eric gives you a nice tour of the inn when you check in. Very friendly staff and owners. Breakfast is delicious. Not sure why some people would complain about it. You get to choose your breakfast the night before and get different options like quiche, waffles, croissant, bagel, boiled egg, yogurt, granola etc. You also get a table with your name at the requested breakfast time. The room was very clean and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable (mattress is on the softer side so if you like a hard mattress you might not find it as comfortable). One thing to note is that if you get one of the rooms closer to the front of the hallway it might get a little noisy it didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper you might want a room that is more towards the back of the hallway. I love the sitting area by the fireplace and the freshly baked cookies they give in the afternoon. The best part about the inn is that is so close to the mountain and you can even walk to a lot of the restaurants.

The owners Ken and Carolyn were wonderful hosts. Attention to detail for everything to make your stay amazingly accommodating. The freshly made breakfast was excellent. The inn was super clean, had everything you could need. The location was great, and a few places within walking distance for food.We especially loved the hot tub while it lightly snowed. We will be back for sure!

This was our first family trip to the Killington/Pico ski area that we didn't stay at the base of the mountain for a ski in/ski out experience. I was a little concerned about how it would work out with having grandparents and 2 young children as well as ski lessons, lodge trips and meals while being "off-site". However, we booked here because we had stayed here about 10 years ago and knew that it was a great location, regardless. Ken & Carolyn, who recently purchased the Inn, have made it an incredible get away. They have completed beautiful renovations and each of the rooms are so nicely decorated, the common areas are comfortable, and the amenities are plenty! They are the best hosts, and completely care about each individual who stays here. They even went as far as pulling out a train set for my children to play with. My children truly felt like this was a home away from home! In regards to their breakfast, it is delicious. I loved the ordering the night before, and then coming into a table all set and ready for us. The food is plentiful and there are so many different options that were all scrumptious. We did enjoy eating lunch one day, and the pizza was great! We also enjoyed the nighttime atmosphere with some acoustic musicians and a few drinks around the bar. This location has it all, and for the win, it is so close to all the restaurants, and you are on the shuttle line to both Pico and Killington. It ended up working out even better than staying at the base of the mountain, and we are already sorting out our dates to come back next year! We'll see you again soon!

My wife and I wanted to do a summer driving vacation through Vermont (we live in eastern Massachusttes). We decided to book Snowed Inn as the first night's stop, and found the high ratings to be justified. Beautiful location in Killington on the mountain approach, and super helpful staff person, Susan, getting us old folk in and settled. Common space is wonderfully decorated, there's a hot tub just outside on the deck, and various unique features. You preselect breakfast items and time, then just concern yourself with relaxing and selecting a dinner spot. One of the owners showed us a great book on Killington by Karen Lorentz detailing the story of the mountain and men who created the town and skiing abundance.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything about the snowed Inn was fantastic. I felt like I was in a hallmark movie. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the smell of cookies that were baking. The service was very good. At one moment I lost my key and they simply gave me another one (I ended up finding it later). Breakfast was included and you could choose from a menu given the night before. The backyard near the hot tub reminds me of a tucked away retreat.Just minutes down the road are some great restaurants and the staff gave us a good recommendation. The inn has it's own bar with some food pairings to choose from but unfortunately we didn't try it out.I will definitely stay again!

This place is beautiful. It literally feels like something out of a Hallmark movie in December. Lots of places to walk to nearby including a market, coffee shop, and restaurants. Our room was perfect, the only issue is that the heat is hard to control. The fire place is beautiful but overheats the small room very quickly which meant we had to crack the window if we wanted to enjoy it. Breakfast was very serviceable, no complaints, and the all day coffee and tea station was a big highlight.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Walking in every day to the smell of apple cider and fresh sweet bread was enough justification for 5 stars. The hospitality was 10/10. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and always down for a little small talk if you were at the bar ordering or lounging around throughout the day. The rooms were so clean, the food was good, and the hot tub and lounging areas were always well kept and organized. The fire was constantly burning and there were small games and puzzles you could sit and play. We would come back from the mountain and lounge out on the couch by the fire, order some apple cider, and relax. The type of crowd this place lures in was a plus. There wasn’t any crying kids, loud teenagers, or party heathens. Everyone was laid back, polite, and shared the common areas well. Setting times for the hot tub is a huge plus. It’s always problematic any place you go when a hot tubs involved but, not here. I could rant and rave on and on about this place. I came for a girls trip but we’ll definitely be returning with our spouses. This place made our trip what it was. I will recommend to anyone traveling to that area.
