Hands down one of the best hotel near nature. The service was impeccable. We booked a king-bed room (2 night stay) and when we checked in, the air-conditioning was faulty so they booked us a King-bed suite at no extra cost. This included a regular sized fridge, dishwasher, big bathtub with jets. It was huge and it was super nice! Our hotel was near the ski resorts. For restaurants, everything was on the same street. We didn't need to travel far (1-3 minute drives). When we needed booze or food there were 2 markets nearby. We will absolutely come back during the fall for the beautiful colors. Thank you at all the staff! :)Nearby activities: Hiking trails nearby, plenty of restaurants

The suite was big and comfortable for two people. Clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom. Loved the hot tub, and the amount of storage space they had both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. We also enjoyed using the kitchen. It was a well equipped kitchen, only thing missing was cutting board. We didn't like the fact that our room was right above the outdoor heated pool. People were so loud. The room was a bit too hot, it was kept at 76, and it didn't cool down even when we tried to turn it off. The bed could be updated. The mattress was not super comfortable but good enough. Loved that it was a king size. Check in and check out process was super easy. The location was good. A quick drive (2-5min) to grocery store shops, and the ski resort.

Definitely recommend staying here. I think it deserves better reviews. The place is a little dated but very clean and has all the things one cold ask for. Heated outdoor pool, sauna, hangout room with air hockey and video games. Nice lounge area wish a real wood fire. Also the service was amazing, very friendly helpful staff

Location is good but that’s about it. This place could be great but it needs major work. Room was very dated- sink cracked and leaking, one light didn’t work, and there was no lock on the door other than the key card access lock. I learned this because “maintenance” literally walked in one afternoon without any notice or knock. Walls and door are super thin- you can hear everything in the hall and adjacent rooms.Cleanliness was also rough- linens were stained and not soft at all. WI-FI rocks speeds of 4mbps- barely able to check emails with downloads much less stream anything.Check in staff was very pleasant- no issues with service. There are plenty of decent motels in Killington- I’d suggest choosing another one.

Very charming lodge. Rooms were nice, the bar upstairs was great and the bartender was very nice, and the location is very good. Wasn't able to use the heated pool but it looked nice. Walls are a little thin and a breakfast option would of been nice but it's still somewhere i'd go back to.Rooms: Thin walls, outlets a little loose. Comfy bets and well maintained otherwise.Food & drinks: Bartender very nice and bar itself is really great.

Our go to place. Family friendly and spacious rooms with full kitchen in the one bedroom suite. Also has a restaurant and coffee in the mornings. The heated pool is the best part after a long day of skiing. They manage to get it very hot and keep it hot and it's big so it fits a lot of people. Big in room bathtub is a jacuzzi tub. We like it bc it is at the bottom of the road and quick drive to skyeship base. Also close to all of the restaurants and nightlife. Reasonably priced and comfortable accommodations. Front desk is always helpful and friendly.

This place is really shady. We had a terrible experience. It’s too bad because there is some good here and some decent people. It was mid-morning and a sketchy looking guy came to our door for the “broken chair”. I told him no-one called about a broken chair, probably wrong room and he leaves. Shortly after my kids who are still their beds tell me a guy keyed into the room and was walking around the place peering in bedrooms. When I went to the front desk for an explanation as to why a random guy came into the room after I clearly conveyed that we didn’t need anything, they didn’t seem to understand the issue and could not explain. The supposed maintenance guy who did this was in proximity and after words to the effect of “stay out of my room” were exchanged he tried to get violent. When my wife and I later confronted the front desk about the matter, the owner’s son, Matthew Romano, was very unprofessional and rude. When I asked who owned the hotel, he told me to “F off” multiple times. It was a nightmare.

Jeremieh was a great guy and very accommodating we had some problem at our room with heavy deep fry oil smell that was so strong that the stay was unbearable. He was, able to change the suite for us and was very understanding, we greatly appreciated it.Thank you .Yes, it is an older hotel and rooms need an update but it is close to the hills and lodge has homey feel.

A pretty cool ski lodge on mountain rd located near Killington ski resort. Reasonable rates, CLEAN ROOMS! The have a lounge/bar area with limited but very good food. Good bar service also. For the price... awsome place!Rooms: Clean, alergen free( i have allergies) so trust me, clean! Also my room spacious, comphy bed, good bathroom facilities, even a place for your skiis. Killington is a skiers mountain, this is a skiers lodge.Nearby activities: Skiing, thats why I visit. Killington is a premier Vermont reasort. And frankly, they have snow long after most areas called it quits for season.Food & drinks: Nice bar area serving really good bar style food.

I'm not sure if there is a certain section of this hotel where rooms used to be attached, but our room looked nothing like the pictures we saw. There was a door connecting our room with a strangers room, and we could hear every single word they said, everything on their TV, and even heard someone using the bathroom. The connecting door had a large crack where we could see shadows moving from the other room. I wish we were informed of this before booking, and luckily the people next to us were respectful after realizing we could both hear each other, so we spent the night whispering. Didn't have any other complaints, staff was friendly but thankfully we only stayed for one night.

"I had a terrible experience at this hotel. After just one night's stay, I contracted conjunctivitis, likely due to poor cleanliness or hygiene standards. When I called to inform the hotel about my situation, the receptionist asked about my symptoms and then simply said, 'I hope you feel better.' Their indifference to my health and well-being was astonishing. I strongly advise against booking a stay here, as your health and comfort are clearly not a priority for this establishment."

Great spot, quiet. The place had laundry coin machines, gym, pool, elevator and had a big cozy lobby to hang around. The room itself was big, the beds were very comfortable, but the downside is the bathroom. We felt that the shower wasn’t esthetic and clean enough to make us feel comfortable to use it. Besides that, great.Rooms: Poor shower

I always enjoy staying at this lodge. They have very nice and clean rooms. We have always stayed in king suites which have a nice kitchenette, and jacuzzi in the room. This lodge has a very nice heated pool that varies during the season. The staff here is very friendly and always very accommodating to suit your needs so that you can enjoy your stay with them. During their busy time, they also have a great restaurant upstairs that is amazing with a great bartender who enjoys interacting with the guest.Nearby activities: Skiing, mountain biking, hikingFood & drinks: Depending on the season plenty of restaurants to choose from that offer really good food and drink.

It’s a nice cozy lodge in Killington. It was better than I expected. They have a nice clean room and cool view! I had microwave and refrigerator so it was so convenient. They have a small store next to reception desk and it has plenty of stuff that you might need. They also have small room with beanbags, books, games and vending machines. Plus outdoor pool too. It’s a little old building but i had no complain. It was a great stay. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to stay in this area 👍🏻

This hotel stay was horrible. Started with ants in the the bathroom, broken pool heater, toilet that takes 5 times to flush, a shower head that has 3 thin strands of water, and waking up to small bites on our bodies. I spoke with a woman ant front desk and explained this all. I stated I wanted a full refund for the stay and they said that would happen and I needed to speak to the Manager. We asked that the mattress be changed in the pull out couch and the main bedroom. The pull out couch had all crumbs and a Qtip on it. We left for alittle and they said they took care of mattresses. We checked before bed and the same crumbs and Qtip was there. Not to mention small little bugs and eggs once we shut light and used flashlight. We had to sleep in another room for the night. The manager in the morning did not refund us and told me if I wasn’t satisfied I should have paid to go to another hotel and sleep somewhere else for the second night. He was rude and did not issue the promised refund. The icing on the cake was when I walked out to the deck and my left ankle fell into a crack and reported it to the woman at front desk yeswho said “what do you want me to do, be more careful.” There is a big gap between deck and door. They said they did not have issues with bed bugs but when we were leaving they had a truck taking away old mattresses and we saw people bringing in new ones to many rooms. See below pictures.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was somewhat pleasant, but the second was far from ideal. I would have to say they have 15 year olds working as cleaners. They were cleaning the rooms in the hallway at we were in before checkout time at 7am. We were awaken by loud cleaning ladies yelling to each other down the hallway, singing and carrying no professionalism. We were very displeased. They had no regard for the guests. When we brought the issue to the front desk they insincerely apologized and didn’t offer any partial refund or other rectification. Definitely advise staying somewhere else.

Decent budget hotel, but the rooms need some attention. This place is pretty old and it shows. However it’s in a beautiful location close to Killington and the staff is super friendly.Rooms: Drab and old. Need updating.Nearby activities: Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hikingWalkability: The mountain road is not very suitable for walking safely on. Would recommend a car or bike.

Slightly dated hotel and room, and the beds are noisy but everything was working when we went and the staff was nice, polite and accommodating. Pool was between 102 and 105 when we were there which was fantastic. The gym was better than you would expect. The restaurant was not open but the bar is open on weekends. Overall, North Star was a really nice stay. Thank you!

Me and my son just needed a place for one night while we were on our adventures. Didn't look for anything fancy but this place definitely exceeded my expectations! Very big room with fridge and microwave! Nice pool, with warm water all year long. Nice lobby with a fireplace, where you can hang out. Definitely recommend
