No long lives up to the standards set when I stayed here in March of 2023 and had a wonderful time.March 2024 - the bar & bistro are closed due to lack of staff. The breakfast is scaled back but still decent. The plates were a bit dirty though. Dirty glasses stacked up on the closed bar for the 3 days I was there. The suana was not on and hot tub not available. They use to have fresh baked cookies in the lobby but those are also gone. The rooms are really nice, but beware if you are on the second floor you can hear the lobby music and folks walking around on the third floor pretty clearly. The water in the bathroom is extremely hard (metal smell/taste).. and my shower did not drain well.Overall, this place is in a great location and has so much potential but they just need to hire more staff to get it back to the way it use to be.

If you need a place to stay for a ski getaway this is the perfect place. Breakfast was delicious and rooms were nicely prepared. Plus they have a little game room where you can go relax after a long day on the slopes. Definitely making this our go to place whenever we want to go to Killington mountain. Also not to far away from Stowe or Okemo in case you want to go to multiple mountains. 10/10 recommend.

Outstanding property waiting to be turned into a 5 star resort. Best views in Vermont. Nice facility with great indoor/outdoor spaces.Problems: probably hard to get help, part timers, trying hard . Not a B&B..Hampton Inns have better breakfast. Cold scrambled eggs every day, sometimes with cold fench toast or cold pancakes. Dinner only 3 days a week and mediocre food, ridiculous prices... $28 dollar hamburger???Middle of the day cleaning floors with Pine Sol.. whole place smelled like an outhouse.. what hotel cleans with Pine Sol these days??My suggestion, go here for a beautiful property, go 5 minutes away to eat and hang in Killington.

Mountain meadow is in a fantastic location and well appointed. I has the potential to be exceptional. The rooms are small but comfortable. The pillows are overstuffed and too firm for our liking. When we shared that with hotel staff, they shared that many guests had similar feedback but management had not made alternate pillows available so nothing they could do.Food service was inconsistent. Sometime a served breakfast, sometimes buffet, sometimes real plates, sometimes paper plates. Bar is open sometimes but other times even during published hours you need to go hunting to find someone who can serve you. The people are all very nice and doing their best but it’s clear that no one with hospitality experience is managing the team. They advertise house made artisan cocktails… the bar staff asked whether we wanted beer, wine or liquor…Overall it is a beautiful property and we had a nice time- but it’s not what is hyped on their internet site.

I first stayed at MML in the 80’s during a high school ski trip. At that time, the barn had undergone one renovation. A kitchen had been installed, a wood floor laid out, and 8 seat round tables deployed. Now, two renovations later, it’s not recognize able from the inside. Super nice; beautiful fireplace. Chef made a custom breakfast for each of us.The rooms have been upgraded as well. I really appreciate the heated floor in the bathroom. My boots and gloves dried out over night.Mountain Meadows Lodge is very convenient to Killington and the bars, although it is off the beaten path. Moguls is the hot spot for music; so is The Pickle Barrel.

Mountain Meadows Lodge is extremely picturesque and quaint. My sister and I visited for a girls weekend and had the best stay. Recently renovated, and surrounded by the best of what killington has to offer, there was several activities in the area for us to partake in. The staff member Asia impressed us by her charm and kindness. We were touched by how she treated us like family.Definitely a must stay if you plan on being in the Killington area!

Lovely location, delicious cooked breakfast (included), friendly couple of staff members who were on duty. But the place was seriously understaffed: dirty breakfast dishes not cleared away till following day when prompted by guests. Plugged drain in bathroom sink/room was cold and damp on checkin because AC going full on and it was raining outside; uncomfortable twin beds in one of the rooms we booked; in-house restaurant closed on the Monday and Tuesday we were there. No effort made to get fireplace or space heaters on terrace going despite the weather. Disappointed, but I would go back if improvements made.

A fantastic place to stay! Staff were wonderful and the food was incredible (included breakfast features choice of blueberry pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, or home fries, cooked fresh for each guest). Rooms are cozy but very comfortable. Grounds include a nice size lake for boating (kayak, canoe, or paddle boat). We'll definitely be back!

Awesome hotel, very cute and the location by the lake makes it special. They have S’mores fixing and they light up the fire in the evening. The pillows were a bit too stuffed for me, I should have asked the front desk for smaller ones - I later learned that they had some. The breakfast is amazing: eggs, pancakes or french toast, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruits, baked goods.. etc. There is no decaf coffee. There is a fun game room. They also serve dinner and have a bar (we didn’t eat dinner there).

I’m a bit overdue in posting this review but am about to go back for a second visit so I figured this is a good time to write about what an incredible stay my boyfriend, my dog Juniper and I all had at Mountain Meadows Lodge! First of all, I just have to say thank you Nancy and her amazing pup Daisy for being truly the most amazing hosts in Vermont! Nancy does it all at Mountain Meadows, she is super kind and helpful with whatever you need and Daisy was so wonderful playing with our dog all day every day, even showing us a beautiful little hiking trail around the pond. As for the hotel itself, everything was so great from the delicious farm breakfast (the best eggs!) to the fireplace and games in the main room to the rooms. The rooms reminded me of some of the places I’ve stayed at European ski resorts with very chic modern bathrooms and nicely decorated bedrooms with wooden beams in the ceiling. Oh and the whole place is right on the banks of a beautiful pond and did I mention it’s 6 minutes from the mountain?! Truly, do yourself a favor and stay here. We loved it so much we can’t wait to return!

Our stay at the Mountain Meadows Lodge was phenomenal! The staff was very kind and helpful during check in and gave a full tour of the property. Daisy, the dog, was amazing! The main level is beautifully decorated and includes a full bar. The food and drinks were delicious and fresh. Our room was clean and perfect for our stay. We highly recommend staying at the Mountain Meadows Lodge for couples or families looking for a quiet get away.

Just came back from an excellent stay at mountain meadow. My experience was truly the best. The rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. I stayed in the star view room and at night it was quite the sight to fall asleep to! The bathrooms seems brand new and includes a heated floor. This hotel room offers the perfect amount of comfort and truly felt like a home. It was only a 5 min drive from the ski area. This place truly feels like a home everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The main dining area was comfortable with a cozy lounge area for drinks. I can’t say enough good things about this place and I’d love to stay here again

Incredible lodge!!! Bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean, modern and updated. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. The food and drinks were amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful, an old barn on the outside and brand new on the inside. Refreshing to stay somewhere where the people really care. 10/10 would recommend. Absolute steal compared to anything like it near Killington. No hidden fees at all. The lodge went through a total renovation, don't be confused by the old reviews.

One of the best places we have stay at in Vermont! Not only is this hotel gorgeous, but the service was impeccable! Nancy, was the best host! She made sure we felt right at home! She made a wonderful breakfast and ensured the fire was lit every night! Bob, the Operations manager was amazing also! Very friendly and accommodating as well! Daisy, the mascot (pet), was very friendly and greeted us at our car. We would highly recommend this beautiful setting....mountain views, right on Kent Pond, and a walk to part of the Appalachian Trail! We will be back for sure!!

I’m not even sure where to start. This experience has been by far the best! It all started out with Daisy. She has made this whole experience so wonderful. She made me feel like home. Oh btw, Daisy is the dog who greets you once you pull up! She directs you right to the door where you will check in. I have stayed in many many hotels but the minute we arrived, it was so delightful seeing this beautiful Australian Shepard sit in front of your car door waiting for you to get out of the car. I’m sure if she had the opportunity to take your bags, she would ! The barn hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were amazing. It felt warm and super comfortable. I slept great ! There are many different types of rooms but we stayed in the room with a balcony overseeing the lake. Best idea ever ! Nancy, who took care of us the whole trip was an absolute pleasure. She checked us in, she made the breakfast! (Which tasted great!!!), she’s the bartender.. she just wears many many hats and made us feel like home the entire time we stayed.

Such a lovely place! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location near Killington ski area and Pico resort. It was our first time visiting Vermont and won’t be our last. We enjoyed our stay and we missed Daisy, the dog (AKA the facility manager) Daisy was the highlight of our stay.

Incredible gem located on a beautiful serene lake and close to hiking trails. Nancy was an amazing host, as well as her dog Daisy. She went out of her way to accommodate all the guests. We were here 4 nights with our children and we could of not had a better stay. Gorgeous views, quiet, one hour hike to a beautiful waterfall. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed for three nights. We absolutely loved every single moment. We arrived around 5:00pm and met Nancy at the door, she checked us in and gave us a tour of the hotel. We saw the game room, spa/sauna area, the pond and the dining area. We did not realize this place had so much to offer. She served Beef Stew, pasta salad and warm bread rolls as a snack. Everything was delicious. We met her dog Daisy who was honestly the best part of the stay. She is the sweetest dog I have ever met and she followed us everywhere and accompanied us to our walks around the grounds and the pond. Nancy makes the best drinks and we enjoyed them sitting by the fire. The next night she offered packs of s'mores to have by a fire outside. Our room was comfortable, the bed was great. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. All in all, I would say this place has definitely left us in awe and we are looking forward to coming back!

Spectacular stay in Killington, Vermont. Clean, friendly, & welcoming atmosphere. My boyfriend and i stayed for 3 nights traveling from New York. This was our first time in VT & we will definitely stay at the Mountain Meadows Lodge again. Nancy does it all & she really cares about hospitality. Made us feel comfortable & made sure each day to ask us how we’re doing & even recommended some places for us to visit. In regards to Covid19 restrictions we felt safe and everyone wore their mask. DAISY DAISY DAISY. Nancy’s dog, Daisy, was the star of the trip. She took us along the hiking trail & never left our side. She made this 5 star stay a 6! The room may have been on the smaller side, but just enough space to move around and get ready in. The bed was comfortable and everything was CLEAN. I can’t stress the importance of cleanliness while staying somewhere new especially during these times, but Nancy & crew were spot on here. There is a game room, sauna, living area, bar, restaurant & patio all conveniently at the lodge. Not to mention, the farmhouse decor is aesthetically on point. So, if you’re someone like me who reads reviews before a booking, take this to heart. It will be an unforgettable stay!

We just had an amazing weekend at Mountain Meadows Lodge! The hotel is very clean, very cozy and really beautiful - it looks exactly like how a stylish mountain lodge should look. There are cozy spots to chill in, a fireplace, a bonfire (and s'mores making kits), a sauna and a games room. Our room was clean, the bed was huge and comfy, the shower was great, and we had very good wifi in the room and anywhere on the hotel. The breakfast was very fresh, varied and tasty. It is really close to the slopes, about 10 minutes drive.Last but not least, the host Nancy and her dog Daisy are the best!We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Just spent two nights at the lodge and had a wonderful time. It is impeccably clean and the staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Do as little or as much as you like - just sitting with the pond view is a relaxing get away. We went with our daughter and son in law who had stayed once before and couldn't wait for us to see it. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Mountain Meadows Lodge. When we first arrived, we were greeted by Daisy who came straight over to our car. Daisy is the dog that lives at Mountain Meadows. She is absolutely the sweetest dog. Asia checked us in and gave us a lovely tour of the lodge. Asia and Nancy provided the best service throughout our whole stay. During our time at the lodge we enjoyed the sauna, the delicious country breakfast, our gorgeous room, the incredible lounge, and game room. Mountain Meadows really is in the ideal location to get to the mountain and the best restaurants. This really was my favorite experience staying somewhere. Mountain Meadows surpassed all of my expectations. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to Killington.

Our families stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend in nearby Pittsfield. To say it was a gem is an understatement - MML could not have been better! The staff, especially Nicole and Connie, were beyond helpful in every way, making sure we felt at home and going the extra mile. From arrivals to the patio and bonfire and delicious breakfast and help whenever we needed it. The stars and the lake and the trails were an added bonus. We all hope to return.
