We just left today and I was looking forward to sharing this review! This was our third time staying there, and each time prior was great. But this time was a bit different! The staff all throughout the lodge were more than polite and professional, they were very heartwarming, down to earth, and personable. Now, my initial expectations are for staff are to be polite, helpful, and professional. To mentiona few, the front desk staff, the bar tender, and the waitress coving the dinning room.I believe they have a great team there, and you can see it. This includes the two cleaning individuals that were taking care of my floor this past Wednesday. They were extremely personable and pleasant as well. Lastly, I will mention the chief. The breakfast as well as the dinner were both Delicious! My husband actually lists the breakfast as one of the highlights to his trip! šŸ‘Œ

This hotel has the potential to be excellent, and is improving, but it drops the score along the way.I got to have a great conversation with one of the managers in this visit and realized how recently they became a Hilton brand and the work done so far to improve things and what is in the pipeline.Check-in.Our room was not ready until 6pm because so much of the hotel turned over the night before and they don't have sufficient sheets to turn that much of the hotel over without waiting for the laundry to get done.Ā  Seriously, buy some more sheets .Ā  (Update: I'm told these are on backorder from Hilton so this should improve).Swimming PoolIt is out of commission, but you still charge $500 a night. Remember there is a 20 person hot tub to relax in.BarSpirits were all in stock and the bar tender makes a mean cocktail.Bar games and pool tablePool table has been fixed and there are more cues than Feb.March update, loads of new board games by the fireplace.RoomThis was overall nice, heating controls were good but offset by the fact that in the balcony rooms the doors have real gaps between them letting in a stiff draft.Ā  Some weather stripping here would improve room comfort a lot when it is below freezing outside. As with bedding, even though the room was booked for four, we only had towels for two.BreakfastIt's hotel priced, I'll accept that and as there are no decent diner style options on the access road and the mountain is just the same price it is what it is, but items often ran out and we needed to wait to get them restocked, make more coffee please.Ā  (Update for March. Maybe it's lower occupancy but they were never out of coffee). It means you need to be there half hour longer than you really need to and that cuts into sleep or time skiing.Rooms: This was overall nice, heating controls were good but offset by the fact that in the balcony rooms the doors have real gaps between them letting in a stiff draft.Ā  Some weather stripping here would improve room comfort a lot when it is below freezing outside. As with bedding, even though the room was booked for four, we only had towels for two.Nearby activities: Killington and Pico Skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobile tours and more winter activitiesSafety: Felt safe. Doors locked as designed. Front desk staffed 24 hrs.Walkability: The Killington access road has a sidewalk but it's a long way between businesses. There is a bus stop outside.Food & drinks: BarGreat bartender. Great cocktails.Small food offerings.BreakfastTypical hotel buffet breakfast.

Great location, comfortable bed, clean room. Water heat and pressure in the shower wasn't great and amenities in the room are a bit sparse, but you've got what you need. My room was overlooking the hot tub area and there was some noise/bass from the music that didn't stop until after 10. Overall I'd stay again for the convenience and comfort.

The location is close to the mountain, which is great. I called before booking a few days prior to our trip. A working hot tub was very important to me so I called and asked. The representative checked to make sure there was no issues with the hot tub. When we showed up we put our suits on and went to the hot tub. The water was nice and hot; however, the jets were not working. Bummer. I went to the front desk to inquire about the hot tub jets. I was basically blown off. The second night I sent my son to buy some waters at the little area in the lobby. They ran out of all drinks that are non carbonated, only soda. I called the front desk and they said the water truck didn't deliver today for some reason. I can't take this level of service paying on average $400 a night. Nice rooms, not so good everything else.

We got here late and there wasn’t much for food open after 9pm. That couldn’t be helped though. We checked in and it was a lovely room overlooking the courtyard with a fire pit and hot tub which according to their website was closed permanently but people were using so I’m assuming their website hadn’t been updated. Then we went to get some ice… followed the signs to ice where their ice machines were still in boxes and they had a water cooler that was empty. My daughter went to the desk and they offered her a bag of ice from a cooler and the contents of the cooler were melted. So… no ice. Then sleeping went well… and tried the breakfast… however the eggs were gross, French toast inedible and the home fries were dried up. Then at about 9:30am as we were changing in our room and housekeeping knocked on the door we yelled out that we were still in the room and the door was locked but the housekeeper came in anyway. Checkout isn’t until 12pm. My boyfriend and I were furious about this as I have a 16 year old daughter who was also trying to change and clean herself up. And of course there was no manager on duty to resolve the situation.

My husband and I did an impromptu trip to Vermont . First time staying here . Everyone was very nice and helpful . Especially the day team at the desk and Ash at night was great. They were pleasant and took the time to explain things and suggest things in the area . Room was good and live music at night was nice . We will definitely stay again.

A convenient location with less than helpful staff. Also, their lost and found is a for-profit scam. Definitely do not leave anything behind. A truly negative experience. Except their hot tub is nice.Nearby activities: Skiing

Very close to the resort. Plenty of parking.Pool was not working.but outdoor hot tub is big and definitely fun. There is a pool table to play for free. The bar in evening has great food too. I would not waste my hilton diamond member credit on breakfast buffet which is standard but not as good as dinner options. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. No moisturizer in rooms interestingly. Loved the property.

I think this hotel deserves a better score. I've enjoyed my stay there. We arrived very early (before 10:00am) and hoped to check in because my wife injured herself and was unable to ski with us. Kyle was able to help us find a room in the busy MLK weekend and let us in.The outdoor hot tub/pool was also nice especially after a day of skiing, room was big and clean, the location is also great, 5mins away from snowshed.I do hope they can provide breakfast every day, I was told breakfast is not provided on Monday and Tuesday which is kind of inconvenient.

We ran out toilet paper and staff sent in quickly. He apologized that they ran out of good quality toilet paper and could only supply bad quality. I told him it was fine. Later, when I was holding it in could smell mold after putting on my glasses, the toilet paper molded! I was using the out door hot tub. Someone told me that the hotel used to be nice before changing owner. The hot tub jet was not working, probably for a few days and it probably should just took 20 min to fix. The staff is super nice and friendly. I’m guessing somewhere in the management team is broken.

Stayed December 2023Read the reviews and was a bit apprehensive..tried to convince my group to re-book elsewhere.. but they wanted to use their Hilton points.... so....went anyway - armed with a can of lysol, disposable gloves, paper towels, wipes..The hotel was beautiful and recently renovated. It's a solid 3 star hotel and that's what you can expect. We had a corner 2 bedroom suite and there were only 2 large towels, no big deal - just went down and grabbed more by the hot tub area.Hot tub was available to use, and the kids had a blast at the pool table and the large jenga blocks they had available. There is a Starbucks at the lobby, and breakfast Wed-Sun.Oh.. one very odd thing about our room.. there was no closet..Looks like they might have not been done with the renovations

No hot water for 2 days, didn't get full 15.00 food and beverge credit per day, parking cost 10.00 per day but lot was the worst i've encountered after a snow storm. Very little clean up effort. The rooms that are adjoining have no sound barrier whatsoever. I could clearly hear the persons conversation in the next room. The hotel has potential but lacks quality and service you would get at other Hilton properties. I stay in a hotel for work every week monday through friday. I am a Diamond member and didn't feel as though that matters at this particular hotel.

GREAT STAY at Killington Mountain Lodge for Presidents Week. After reading the reviews, and staying here last year, I was definitely concerned but the Mountain Lodge is BACK!! My family loves skiing Killington and the location of the KML is ideal. This year the hot water was abundant, rooms cleaned daily by people who worked hard and late to get the rooms all done. Huge thank you to them. Our visit started out great as Jess and Tracy welcomed us upon arrival. They were so accommodating and helpful. During our stay we saw those two constantly helping people and going out of their way to make sure people were happy. That’s a huge plus for this establishment. They were both amazing and made our trip memorable. Jess basically makes this place run at a high level. I know from last year that a lot of money was invested into KML but it struggled to keep up. This year, whatever changes or updates that were made, righted the KML. Heat, hot water, fireplaces burning wood, Starbucks open, towels available in room and nicely cleaned rooms. Thank you to all involved, even Chris and Zack from maintenance, making sure the heat was working properly. Bumped into them in the hall and they love what they do. Just ask them!! Super stay, forget the negativity from prior reviews. This place was awesome as were the people that you encounter like Jess and Tracy.

I see lots of replies from the hotel asking people to call in to discuss their stay but I wonder if anyone has actually been able to reach the GM, Kyle Cocci? After a month of direct calls, voicemails, and email, I still have yet to hear back from him.Hands down the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at. Forget a good night’s rest- the rooms have ceiling sky lights without blinds so they let light in at 6am and there’s no way to avoid it. Cleanliness? We got to our room to find the toilet in abysmal condition (see picture) after walking across a soaked hallway carpet. The carpet felt like someone had poured a bucket of water on the floor and left it to dry naturally. I assume the water in the carpet is the smell that previous reviews mentioned. When we checked out, the manager, Kyle, didn’t see overly surprised by my concerns. He offered a points credit for the inconveniences. It’s been almost 2 months since the stay and he’s failed to follow through with his promise and has dodged every attempt by phone and email to get in touch. I’ve also reached out to upper property management but that hasn’t gone anywhere.Don’t let the location and hotel pictures fool you, they’ve slapped a coat of paint on a run down property and are trying to pass it off as a nice hotel. I gave 2 stars for service because the front desk staff is great but they have zero support from management.Rooms: Skylights that you can’t close which make sleeping in impossible. Dirty toilet when checking in.Noteworthy details: Floors in hallway soaking wet.

Pros- good location, good parking, room seems and feels clean. Good bed and pillow.Cons- the front desk guy has no business working in hospitality. Very standoffish and unfriendly. Every question seems like a bother. Lobby and elevator had a very strange unpleasant smell. Not sure if it’s the rug or cleaning agent the hotel uses. I’m usually very insensitive to smells, so it says something when I notice.Only two bath towels in the room for a family of 4.

Awful experience. When we arrived found out pool and hot tub was out of order for entire stay. Woke up in morning to find my car was broken into and my skis were stolen and my back lock on vehicle broken. I spoke with someone (Brain) at front desk to see if there was anything that can be done. They told me they would put in a claim and their insurance would cover my damages and stolen items. After a month later of being ignored and reaching out to Hiltons customer service finally manger Anne from hotel basically told me nothing could be done as this was my own fault for leaving them in the vehicle . They are not responsible for anything stolen, this is something they run into and and I would in no way be compensated not even a refund for the parking charges. The hotel charges for parking but there are no cameras and no security. I attached my conversation after calling and leaving messages for a month after my stay and finally got this response only after numerous emails to Hilton's customer service. I am beyond disappointed with the housekeeping and customer service at this hotel. I lost a very expensive item of clothing there and have called over 10 times within the first week after checking out to see if there is an update on the item. Each time the front desk has said to call back for housekeeping - which seemingly does not exist as I have never been able to speak to them. Moreover, I have been rudely hung up on mid sentence each time I have called. The staff does not care about helping guests after they have checked out and are not willing to speak or take time. They have been absolutely useless and I am outraged. It was a piece of clothing that has gifted to me, by a deceased family member. I valued, loved, and cared for it very much. I am beyond sad I will never see it again because of the poor service and lack of empathy the service team has. It is irreplaceable. At the very least, I expected the staff to take the time to speak with me and understand my frustrations rather than hanging up on me because they do not care.

The Hilton brand has definitely taken this hotel to a new level!! I have been to this location more than once in my lifetime and will say from the drive up to the hotel, walking into the reception area, and then the room definitely receives the 5-star review! The staff is amazingly pleasant and happy with full smiles on their faces. With this hotel, you also have a selection of 5-star restaurants and reviews to support this review. The pricing is definitely more than fair and the area is highly recommended for the full experience.

Good Hilton hotel that is a drive to the mountain. Went with our kids, but it's a little more of an adult/party hotel. We had no issues but I did notice this at the hot tub and shared spaces.

Mostly stayed here because they had a room available over the weekend. Location is great, but that's about it. Elizabeth from the Front Desk is a treasure, she handled all of our complaints like a champ after the GM literally left her alone with a dozen unhappy guests and hid in his office. There was no breakfast because the chef didn't show. There was no water in the morning either until the water truck came.Hotel is pretty dirty and there are holes in the ceiling with the insulation visible. Definitely not worth what they are charging.

Lost an item here and after calling 3-4 times the manager was extremely unhelpful and wouldn’t confirm if the item was available unless I came back even though I left. They asked me to submit a claim and no one followed up on it. Seemed like a big miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping that management didn’t want to deal with. Ultimately the interaction was not helpful at all and I haven’t received my items.

My family and I stayed here this past weekend since our friends got married at an inn around the corner. We chose to stay here because it was pet friendly and we have a little doggy. We reserved a suite and upon arrival, there was an issue with the room, so they gave us adjoining rooms; and charged us more for it. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dirty and there was trash in the corners (medicine wrappers etc.) and the bathroom was very dirty. Tub had pink mildew in it & stains. The toilet was very clearly dirty and not cleaned. The bathroom in the lobby was completely filthy & trash on the ground for 2 days. There was dog hair and dust in every corner. The images online look nice, but everything is really run down once you see it in person. I also would have liked to see a warning about the water issue prior to arrival. I know that's not the hotels' issue, but knowing about it would have been better so we could be prepared, but that's no biggie. The people were very nice, but it was very disappointing that every amenity & common space were filthy and in disrepair. We stuck it out since we didn't really have a choice with the dog, but I wouldn't stay here again.

I booked this location October 7-10, 2023. I am usually a fan of Hilton hotels and have had good luck - I choose Hilton or Marriott because getting a good night's sleep is very important to me. When booking, I specifically requested not to be near an elevator. They booked us and upon arrival we are right next to the elevator. This particular hotel has an exceptionally noisy elevator and the rooms are not noise proof at all. There is a gap under doors and the elevator shaft was on the wall right behind the headboard of the bed. Not only can hear, but you can actually feel the shake of the elevator as it goes up and down. I called the front desk the first night and was told they were completely booked, but they he would move us the next day as people checked out. The nights sleep was not good, it was quiet enought to sleep from 12:30-4:30. I went down first thing in the morning and was told by the lady who was now at the front desk, that she didn't know why we would have been told that, they are overbooked and that we won't be able to change rooms. We asked for the manager, he apologized and said there wasn nothing he could do about the room but he would discount our room. The people working at the hotel are very kind, but definitely understaffed. One of the mornings we woke up and there was no water - no flusing toilets, brushing teeth - no water, so we left the hotel to find working toilets and coffee. Hilton advertises that they have an evening lounge and a restaurant - both were closed the whole time that we were there. There was coffee and breakfast one morning. We stayed 3-nights with terrible sleep. Well at least we are goigng to get a discount so we thought. Now, billing has been a nightmare, when asking about the discount, they said that they would adjust and then double billed us full price. This happened several times and as of the last time we are down to no discount, but only being billed for our actual stay. Grr my time is valuable and this is so frustrating! Positives- Vermont is lovely and the people are nice. Negative - they don't keep their word, they are understaffed and that particular hotel is not up to Hilton's normal standard.

Team was very helpful with an item we left behind, much appreciated! However, hard to believe that there was not a single bar of soap available in the entire hotel. Apparently they ran out ā€˜days ago’.We arrived after 8 pm with a prepaid reservation and waited ten minutes in the lobby for anyone to appear. My kids were climbing the walls, dog barking. It was like a ghost town. So strange and unwelcoming. Our actual family suite was fine, besides the fact that we only had two towels for a room that sleeps 6. We could get more at the front desk. A sofa in the room or chairs for the large balcony would have been appreciated.Overall an underwhelming stay in a beautiful part of VT. Hopefully they have better service in the winter.

Horrendous. I was here with a ski group and was told breakfast was included. I went to the front desk to specify where the ski club free breakfast was and was directed to the upstairs breakfast and told to just give my room number. After I ate and was finished they told me it was the wrong breakfast and I would be charged in full. When I explained that was told to go there a women at the front desk named Jess said I would be charged anyway. Woman at the desk was unfriendly and dismissive.

I guess that’s what ā€œoff seasonā€ gets you.Dirty toilets greet you opening the bathroom door (along with floor and shower hairs!) and check your comforter for stains. The bathroom sink drain didnt. šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø Check the pix.If you want to do laundry, better plan for daytime because there are not working lights in the laundry room. The pool is ā€œout of orderā€, maybe a cost cutting measure, it is ā€œoff seasonā€ after all, or maybe not. There’s always Starbucks for breakfast… no, only Starbucks. It’s probably a great spot during ski season, but you can tell the off season visitors and upkeep are not nearly as important. But they will give you extra towels and shampoo when your room wasn’t properly stocked. Funny though, the hotel was fully booked when we were there. But wait there’s more; the first floor balconies overlook the view & smokers. #sarcasm Don’t think that Tapestry Collection means anything special other than location.Rooms: They’re dirty, expect dirty toilet rings, bathroom hairs and check your bedding for stains.

We showed up to the hotel and we found that both queen beds had stains on the bedding. One had blood on the comforter and the sheets and the other had yellow staining on the comforter. There was only one towel for a double queen room. In addition, the toilet was stained and dirty. The indoor pool was emptied and out of service and the outdoor pool was closed. The hot tub was green and cloudy. There’s is still no potable drinking water at this hotel, and they rely on water bottles. We did bring up our concerns about the bedding and they promptly changed both beddings. We ended up requesting a refund as we did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel. Kyle, at the front desk, was very understanding. He made a few phone calls and was able to get us a refund and was very helpful.

I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with my recent stay at the hotel. As a frequent guest for the past few years, I have always enjoyed my time here despite some minor drawbacks. However, my recent experience was far below average and has left a lasting negative impression on me.To begin with, I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness in my room. It was evident that the cleaning staff had not done their job properly, as there were stains and dirt everywhere. My shower was covered in stains and had a used soap bar left over from the previous customer. The toilet was also unclean, with visible urine stains. Additionally, there was dirt under the sink and desk, and the screen door was broken. The hot tub, which is a major draw for guests, was also in a deplorable state. The water was murky and almost resembled green lava, and the temperature was far lower than acceptable. The indoor pool had a strong odor, and there were no clean pool towels available. It was clear that the hotel was not maintaining these facilities properly.Furthermore, it seemed that the hotel was understaffed, as there were many areas that required attention, such as carpets, walls, and waste. Guests were lining up at the front desk to request toiletries, and there were pet-friendly rooms in the hallway with dogs barking loudly all night long, disturbing my sleep. The noise kept me up, and I tried to call front desk and didn't work and I was too tired to get up in the middle of the night and no action was taken to address the issue. I found it very disrespectful that the hotel allowed such a disruption to occur. As a paying guest, I find it unacceptable that a hotel of this caliber is being managed so poorly. I paid a premium rate to extend my stay, and I am appalled that I received such subpar service in return. Looking at the numerous negative reviews, it is clear that I am not alone in my disappointment. I hope the corporation will look into it and address these issues and improve the quality of service provided by the hotel. Unless these issues are resolved, I will not be returning to this establishment, and I will be sharing my negative experience with others.I sincerely hope that Hilton takes this feedback seriously and works to make the necessary improvements.
