Nice new location. Great spirits, especially the Vodka. They have a new grapefruit vodka my wife loves.The barrel aged maple syrup is a classic Vermont way to end a tasting. Loved it, too.The woman giving the samples did so with professionalism. Se had an enthusiasm for the product that shone through, despite giving the same talk countless times.

If you aren’t skiing and looking for something tasty to experience, then I’d suggest a tasting tour of Smugglers’ Notch Distillery!If the clear stuff (vodka and gin) are your thing - no issues. If you like your spirits a little darker then SND has you covered!The bourbon tasting tour is informative, engaging and tasty.There is much to sample and the store has something for you! Whether it is a finely crafted spirit, a Smugglers’ Mule (ready made), distillery barrels or even skate decks - then you need not worry! Kudos! Well done!

We really enjoyed our visit and tasties. The young lady working was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She gave us options that made our trip there on motorcycles easier to get product and she even let us know one of the best places to eat. Will definitely get online and visit again when we come from midcoast Maine!

What a find and local gem. Gin is fantastic. Ask about the story of the distillery and spirit names when tasting. Also, try the bourbon barrel maple syrup.

Bourbon tasting was great, wanted to get the last two bottles of Dead something but at $115 couldn't justify Also the lady, masked up behind her plastic wall, was not friendly, and definitely NOT the person to be talking about the bottles and selling to people. Not a people person IMO and very off-putting.Oh well.... bourbon bottle I bought was good, gin tasting was so-so (I'm more of a gin guy) but I wouldn't go back and would just purchase online through their distributor.

We stopped into the store in Jeffersonville this past Wednesday. The spirits were nothing to get excited about, although the Maple Cream was very good. However, the woman behind the counter was extremely unpleasant and rude. I hate to write negative reviews, in fact this is my first, but I feel the owners need to know that the person representing their company is doing them a huge disservice.

Enjoyed everything I tried and its priced well. Hard to get a good feel for the flavor out of those little plastic cups though, tough to get a proper whiff. Again though, great stuff!If y'all don't already do your own version of a Jacknife with 1 part maple cream liqueur and 1 part bourbon, you probably should. Not something I'd drink all the time, as I normally prefer sipping neat, but the right day and with some spare maple cream to get rid of, it's a solid drink.

I just stopped into the Jeffersonville location and ordered two flights. The woman behind the counter was not friendly in the least bit. Was rude and I wanted to walk out. However, I enjoyed the Bourbon Maple cream liquor and purchased a bottle. I am writing this review to provide feedback to management. The woman behind the counter clearly is not suited for customer facing job.

I sampled their Maple Bourbon Whiskey at a sportsman's show in Vermont several months ago. When we came back to visit, it was a MUST for me to pick up a bottle. It was the best whiskey I've ever had. We stopped in the distillery to purchase a bottle. We sampled some of their other liquors, including their limited edition aged 7 year Maple Rum. All of their beverages that I have sampled have been superb. High quality with amazing flavor, their products are so smooth. The distillery itself was very clean and organized and the staff was friendly. They also have a nice outdoor sampling area. When we return to Vermont I'm sure I will definitely need to stop by again to pick up another bottle!

One of the best rye whiskey I've ever had. Enjoyed all 4 things I tried. The atmosphere is an after thought, but the booze is great.Begrudgingly I pass on my girl's recommendation that the spicy pickle is fantastic. I remain steadfast in opposition to every pickle.

Exceptional customer service. The young lady working on 05/28/2021 was welcoming, engaging, and very knowledgeable. Seriously, this place is lucky to have her. I have visited hundreds of breweries, wineries & distilleries and her demeanor and personality far exceed the norm. Regarding the products, the maple cream was delicious and the Rye was smooth and complex.

Such a disappointment…the spirits might be good but completely lacking in friendly customer service. We stopped in for a tasting and to buy gifts but after the experience we had interacting with the very unfriendly woman at the counter we left without buying a thing. We we’re the only ones in the store in a weekday morning and she could not have shown less interest in helping us. They also would not accommodate the need of our child to use the bathroom which was the perfect excuse for us to head out!

Tasting was decent, customer service was terrible. I looked up reviews just to read and laugh with them. The woman running the counter downstairs is miserable!Not a huge loss for us we had a house 5 minutes away but I would not waste your time driving out of the way to see this place. They advertise as one of the best distilleries around. No, it’s one of like 3 - that’s why it’s in the top ten lol. No tours, not that great booze and bad service.

This place and the sweet woman working were simply the sweetest. We went in on a Saturday and she was the hostess with the mostest! Very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. The tasting was great, the music was wonderful…highly recommended all around!

The alcohol was fantastic, woman working there extremely nice and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the crème liquor so much that we left with a couple bottles of it. Wish there were some food/snack options to eat while trying the flight, but didn’t go there looking for food so not a big deal.

The products they make are all first class, but be sure to get a tasting. I really like the hopped gin, but you should taste it before you buy it, as you should their other products.They also have some great maple based products. It is worth a stop .

Meeting others for dinner, we arrived in town earlier than expected. Were excited to stop at the distillery to hang out for awhile. After 2 hr ride were told they did not have a public rest room. In VT can you serve alcohol & not have a restroom? Neither of the 2 girls were friendly, altho they sent us 2 doors down to use a restroom. They did make a DELICIOUS Bloody Mary which we carried outside to a table ourselves. Do Not Touch signs on all the displays. Too bad the displays were at good height to read if you are only 4' tall. No wonder the parking lot was empty.......so disappointed😕.......almost forgot to mention.....no straws or stirrers for our drinks.......really?

Great quality products. My favorites are Maple Cream Liqueur, Moroccan Rose and Grapefruit Vodka and Hopped Gin. Worth the trip if you are in the area. If you can't make it to the store they can ship!

It is small but great. The tasting is a good idea before you buy anything. And before you leave yiu HAVE to try the maple syrup, the syrup is puy in a bourbon barrel and so the suryp has a hint of bourbon.
