This was truly one of the best days ever! Owners, Doug and Becca are THE most wonderful people and are like golden retrievers themselves! They are so happy to host, want to share the beauty of their gorgeous farm, and excel in making the experience memorable and special.Playing and loving on 15 golden retrievers from Butternut Goldens puts a giant smile on your face and brings a warmth to the soul. Happiness is all around. And just wait until you taste the maple syrup!!! The whole experience doesn’t get more sweet.I’m already planning a trip back!

The Golden Dog Experience was the best event of the year!! Getting to spend time with the dogs and snuggling with them was so amazing!! Rebecca was so nice and was so pleasant to work with with a bonus of taking her own pictures for everyone!! She was welcoming and inviting the entire experience and created an amazing afternoon!! This is an event I will absolutely do again soon! Their Maple Syrup was also fantastic!

Absolutely incredible time! We did the Bees and Maple Trees tour with Doug and had a phenomenal time. The property is stunning and Doug was so knowledgeable about the land, syrup making and apiaries. We got to taste different syrups and honey and were accompanied the entire time by the sweetest pup Lenny. At the end Doug’s wife greeted us with hot chocolate and was just as personable as can be! Highly recommend this to everyone.

Heaven on Earth!!!! Everything was absolutely perfect right from the start. Doug and Becca( the owners) are so welcoming and friendly. The dogs are just amazing!!❤️❤️🐾🐾 Every dog lovers’ dream come true!!! My husband and I went two days in a row , and I can’t wait to go back!! I literally had tears in my eyes when it was over. The BEST!!!!

Genuinely the BEST DAY EVER ❤️ Doug, Becca, Dana, and Susan are incredible hosts, and I felt like part of their furry family! The whole experience was sweet and thoughtful from beginning to end. I especially loved that Becca was able to take photos of everyone so we could all just bask in the moment. Having come alone, I was worried I wouldn’t get to capture any special memories for myself, but she made sure I went home with plenty! I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. What an amazing experience! The natural beauty of the farm will blow you away. The folks running the farm and handling the dogs were awesome and laid back. Then there's the goldens. OMG! Each had different personalities and you just get in there, get low, and get and give dog love! My husband and I went and haven't stopped admiring the memories and pictures (that come with the package and are emailed to you afterward btw)! Do not think twice about doing this! Would definitely recommend!!

The most wholesome experience. The owners were so welcoming. I loved hearing their stories and their journey to Vermont. Being able to relax, snuggle and play with the 13 Goldens that showed up in the truck was more than anyone could ask for. This was the best way to spend my birthday. Becca even took pictures throughout the whole event and sent us the link the next day. I’m so glad to be able to fully enjoy the event and have pictures taken to look back on for me. can’t wait to come back in the summer to try out the new experience. Thank you guys so much again.

Best Experience Ever!! We felt so welcomed at Doug and Rebecca’s beautiful farm. Upon arrival we were greeted with hot chocolates and twelve beautiful Golden smiles. Rebecca took such nice pictures of us playing with all the Golden’s. A must stop if you are in the area (or even if your not!)

Priceless experience! Owners who care deeply are genuine and go the extra mile to accommodate everyone. They are as perfect as a golden retriever. The Goldens were absolute angels and so adorable. They are the cure-all for sure! Can't wait to come back!

Joy and happiness reside at the Golden Dog Farm in Jeffersonville, VT! I surprised my wife with this experience as a Christmas gift and she absolutely adored it! The dogs were phenomenal and so well trained for both play and photo ops. We got to see them run all over a field, play catch and just hang out for cuddles. There was even a dog with my wife’s name, Lilly!Doug and Becca were such gracious hosts and so kind. Their barn was very inviting with calm lighting and warm hot cocoa as a refuge from the cold weather. We will definitely be back for a proper maple syrup, honey and wine tour!! And of course more doggies :) Happiness galore!

Best maple syrup in Vermont hands down. I did other sugar house tours /tastings in Vermont and this was BY FAR the best maple syrup I tasted. Doug the property owner was such a nice host, he graciously toured us through his little slice of heaven on earth. Doug also shared his in depth knowledge on everything along the way so you leave with an abundance of knowledge. The tour was amazing, be prepared to walk the whole time, wear athletic shoes. There is over 200 acres so you get to see all the highlights the property has to offer including a bee farm, orchards, vineyards, maple trees and the sugar house. He lets you pick fresh fruit along the way from the trees and vines to snack on. Feels like you are visiting a friend or family members place. Love that Golden Dog Farm didn’t feel “commercialized” like some of the other farms / tours I did in Vermont.

Magical is not a strong enough word to describe how fantastic this place is! The people that own and operate it are lovely and caring. And the dogs? Heavenly!! There’s no other way to describe it. They are happy, healthy, loving dogs who seem to be having an absolute blast. I said it’s a gift, a therapy session, and a party all rolled into one. Set against a beautiful backdrop of the mountains of Vermont, there’s no better way to spend an afternoon. Thanks to Becca, Doug, Dana and of course, the Butternut Goldens. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful time on our tour of the Golden Dog Farm. Becca was a great tour guide and I learned so much about bee keeping and sugaring. But mostly, it was just a lovely couple of hours touring one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen. Stopping to pick apples, watching wild turkeys go by, enjoying the changing of the foliage, all with Dewey the golden retriever by our side. It was a truly magical day. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing experience from top to bottom. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, the drive to the farm was amazing, the property is beautiful, and that's all before the dogs come out!Being able to spend time with a group of beautiful Goldens, with the Green Mountains as a backdrop is a once in a lifetime experience that would be a hard recommend. And as an added bonus you can go home some great maple syrup.Again, if you're even thinking about grabbing a ticket don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

We had our first tour at Golden Dog Farm during peak Fall in Vermont! Our tour was led by the husband/wife duo who had an incredible amount of information to share about their farm and the work that they do on it. The grounds and views were incredible, and we were lucky enough to be able to pick some pears and apples to take home. The amount of walking is around 2 miles, so if you’re looking for a Vermont outdoor experience that keeps you moving and deepens your appreciation for farmers and the land, this is for you!

A visit to Doug and Becca's farm should seriously be your first stop in Vermont. After a 2 hour tour of his stunning property, Doug and one of his goldens, Lenny, almost had us convinced to move to Vermont from Florida. My husband is someone who wants to know how everything works, so we got an in-depth explanation of bee-keeping and maple sugar processing. Walking through fields, forests and orchards, hearing stories about keeping bears out of the hives and how they strive to protect the sugar maple trees and the land they grow in, made us feel like we saw the real Vermont. Make sure you take home as much Golden Dog syrup as you can carry, as nothing will compare to it (and we tried several)! This visit is our favorite memory from the whole trip.

We were lucky enough to be there for the first day of their Golden Experience with the beautiful pups from Butternut Goldens! From the moment we arrived, Becca and Doug were like lifelong friends, welcoming to their home, excited to share the day with us. Their warm and friendly hospitality was the perfect backdrop for spending a couple of hours with a pack of fluffy, happy goldens!!!! It was a perfect day. In addition to the puppy hugs and belly rubs, Becca and Doug provided delicious apple cider and donuts as well as tastings of their honey and maple syrup. That was an incredible surprise - it was the best tasting maple syrup I've ever had!!!!The day was a perfect 10 in every way. We were lucky enough to grab tickets before they went viral. Don't hesitate to book this trip. We can't wait to return and do their farm tour and the bee experience.The dogs are absolutely amazing. So well behaved and socialized, you just can't help but smile. But Becca and Doug make this really feel special. They share their passion for the farm, what brought them there and how they want to share these experiences with others.There was no better way to spend a gorgeous autumn day. We can't wait to return!!

I am a LA city girl and this whimsical farm tour made me want to become a Vermont farm girl. First, our wonderful tour guide/beekeeper Becca and the cutest golden retriever Dewey were delightful and so fun to be around. Second, Becca taught me about the dope matriarchal society of bees and converted me into a bee stan that wouldn't mind reincarnating as one in my next life. Third, we walked around the big ol 207 acre farm picking organic apples, tasting grapes, seeing the stunning fall foliage, and going inside the maple syrup factory. I felt so happy soaking in all the grand sights of the grassy fields, trees, and mountains. It definitely helped that the weather was perfect in early October. Lastly, I was blown away by how their maple syrup tasted like coffee and how their honey tasted floral. This tour definitely changed my brain chemistry and cured my depression. I highly recommend you check it out! <3

Highly recommend visiting Golden Dog Farm! Doug and Becca are highly knowledgeable and you get such amazing value on the tour. There is an opportunity to see beautiful views and learn about beekeeping, producing maple syrup and growing fruit. You also get to see the sweetest goldens. The syrup and honey is outstanding.In addition, Doug and Becca went out of their way to make us comfortable and accommodate us as we had a baby with us. Thank you so much for a highlight during our visit to Vermont!

Got the gift package for my wife for Christmas, it was a big hit. We just got back from our weekend in VT and seeing the Goldends. We had a blast (my wife exscicllay). Doug and Rebecca are such good hosts. The Goldens are so friendly. The whole experience was more that I thought, you get to see the Goldends and play with them but also there is hot cocoa and a goodie bag at the end. they even take pics and give you the link after. would totally do it again, maybe next time not in the winter so we could see the Bee hives or something.

100/10 experience ! My girlfriend took me here as a surprise during a weekend getaway, knowing how much I love goldens. This was a 100/10 experience as a dog lover. the dogs were so playful and kind, the staff that runs and owns it are super nice and welcoming, and the gift shop was super cool, we bought a shirt! We are from southern MA, and this trip was definitely worth it from the visit alone to the Golden Dog Farm! You get your own photos with all the dogs for each couple/visitor (free, and can use your phone also) and you get to toss the ball to which the 11-16 goldens run and get ! I recommend this highly for everyone.

This experience was amazing, the farm is gorgeous, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. And of course the dogs, after a bout of play time, it’s time to go inside the beautiful barn and cuddle. You have the opportunity to sit and pet the most friendly and well behaved golden retrievers. And don’t worry about taking pictures with your phone, just enjoy your time there, professional photos are taken and they are amazing and speedily updated for enjoyment. This had to be one of the best days ever, Golden Dog Farm helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

I spoke to Becca about planning a visit to her farm and after I mentioned I’d be going on birthday, she went out of her way to to make it special. This tour was intimate and a great experience, it felt like hanging out with a friend and she even put a happy birthday banner on the cart! Not to mention she pulled a few strings and got some goldens up there since she knew I was missing my golden as well. I highly recommend this tour and will be telling everyone to plan a visit at Golden Dog Farms when they go to Vermont! Thank you Becca and Doug!

My friends and fiancée and I came as a part of my Bach trip to Vermont and built our trip around this excursion! The entire team is so friendly and knowledgeable and made our experience so much better. The dogs are so cute and friendly but definitely are more interested in playing fetch. There is a small walk up and down hill to get to the dogs, so please keep this in mind if you are differently abled!They offer water, hot chocolate and a little snack and even a sample of their amazing maple syrup. I would love to come back to see the doggies again and try the bee experience. Would 100% recommend to locals and tourists alike!

This place is awesome! My wife and I took the farm tour with Becca and their dog, Mar. We learned so much about Maple Syrup and a ton about bees. Their farm is gorgeous, well maintained and you can tell they really take pride in it. Becca is a great tour guide, and she showed us the ropes when it comes to bee keeping, it was really cool to meet someone truly passionate and knowledgeable in their craft. Mar is an excellent guide as well, be sure to scratch her belly. Their maple syrup is delicious, it’s not like any kind of maple syrup I’ve ever had. We loved this place so much that we are coming back in a couple months, don’t pass on this tour.
